Problem with my xt 1225 - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My xt1225 was fine , until some time ago.
Problem started there : I couldnt let it drain all the battery down or it would be a pain in the ass to charge it up.
If i let , the problem was that everytime i plug the charger in the phone would go up a second showing the charging screen and then turn off. The solution was to try to boot on bootloader or recovery and pray that it doesnt turn off, then the phone would charge a bit and back to the normal state.
The strange thing come here : one day after letting it go down to 1% (it didnt shut down but stayed at 1%), i plugged the charger in and the battery wouldnt go up past 1%. I let for hours and nothing . Then I managed to go on receovery (twrp 3.0.2) and :
The processor temp was something like 4293089048 C , the battery still 1%.
After some restarts on recovery i noticed that the battery would sometimes change a bit of the value , and i plugged the charger and managed to charge up battery to 100% in recovery only.
Now , after charging the phone a bit i decided to reflash the stock rom (was using aex) but i noticed that I can`t get my system recognized on usb. Neither on Bootloader , recovery , or system .
Anybody can help me =(?
Obs : Still have acess to system (with a custom rom , aex) , and i can flash things on recovery

First of all, it seems like you have posted in the wrong section.
The XT1225 has a dedicated forum available here. So, the correct section for your thread should be here.
Secondly, it sounds like you're having a battery hardware issue. The battery is likely failing. If you can, you should replace it.
It might also be a USB Cable or USB connector issue. So, you should first change the USB Cable. If it doesn't help, change the battery. If that fails too, then you must ultimately change the USB connector (better take it to a repair center).
Before any of these, you can try to calibrate the battery with a calibration app, but I seriously doubt that will work. It's still worth the try!

[Q] Dna battery or motherboard problem?

Hello guys I want your help a little bit
I have a Droid DNA and suddenly the phone has turned off for no reason, when I turned it on again, it frezees in HTC boot logo "blablabla development blablabla) and restarts and it keeps in a bootloop, I can enter into fastboot, so I put it on to charge it, and 15 minutes LATER, i tried to turn it on again, no luck, so i put it into usb mode, and booted and it can boot normally, but when I quit the usb the phone turn it off and goes again in this crazy bootloop, also I cannot enter into the recovery mode (I installed TWRP and tried to enter but it freezes into in blue logo), and again I put USB on (No charger) and it enters, I flash a ROM and reboot, but when I disconnect USB CORD (NOT CHARGER) it turn off and again comes the bootloop crap, so I think its the battery but I opened the phone and I dont see a sign of battery death (like inflated) so I dont know if its a battery problem or a motherboard problem? What should I do? buy the battery or have a nice red brick? help me please.
Sorry for bad english Im not American.
Please help!!!!

Problems with offline charging

I'm havin problems with offline charging after i installed cm11. I've tried change kernel and change rom (i'm using PA rom now) and i'm still with the same problem.
When i plug the charger on my phone while turned off, it shows a battery icon with a question mark on it and i think it's not charging. Is this a general problem or did i make something wrong?
Try keeping it plugged in. See if it charges or not.
Also,did you change your bootlogo?
I didn't change my bootlogo. it boots motorola bootloader and then shows the battery icon with the question mark. I left my phone charging this way for a couple of hours and tried to turn it on. my phone booted with 0% battery and then shutted down, so definitely it is not charging. other thing I notice is that when my phone enter this buggy offline charging mode, I have to press power button + volume down to reboot my phone, it kind of get stuck in this mode when my phone enter it
Try using a different charger.
It doesn't seem to be a common issue.
Can you power up the phone whilst charger connected.?
I've tried two different chargers, one of my Moto X and the original one. If I want to charge the phone I need to turn it on first and then plug the charger. I can't turn it on with the charger on cuz it is stuck on that screen with the battery icon
I'm starting to think I've done something wrong. I did the following to get where I am right now:
I was on stock firmware, so I rooted the phone and installed the newest version of SS. Then I downloaded cm11 and gapps and copied to the phone. I entered the SS and wiped everything. After that I installed cm11 and gapps.
When I discovered that issue I've tried install JBX kernel to fix it and nothing. then I wiped everything again and installed PA rom + gapps and still that issue. Did I do something wrong?
No, you didn't do anything wrong.
Since its persistent across both ROMS, its not a ROM issue either.
In my opinion, its most probably a problem with port or the board. The port doesn't deliver enough power.
You can try flashing the stock ROM back, it might repair in case something s/w related is corrupted. If it doesn't work after that, then its a h/w glitch for sure.
just in case, if I install stock rom and the problem goes away, what might be causing this problem?
I can't re-flash stock rom because I can't charge my phone and I can't boot into the rom or recovery. I don't think fastboot charges my phone. I just realized that bootloader is locked. Maybe this is the problem, isn't it?
it isn't a h/w glitch because before cm11 it was OK to charge offline
You'll need a factory cable to flash in case your phone has insufficient power.
Look for it, there's a guide about making one in the general section I suppose.
No need, I've managed to charge the phone through USB on my pc. When I plug the charger on my phone, that glitch happens, but when I plug the USB on my pc, the phone lights up a white led and apparently it charges the phone (slower, but charges). That's really weird. I really want to know what is happening to my phone

Samsung GT-I8552: Unable to access recovery mode and battery issues

Hello,
I'm using GT-i8552 stock 4.1.2 (UNROOTED).
I did root my phone with 'Framaroot', the rooting was successful and SuperSU was installed properly. After this I didn't try installing any custom ROMs or any conflicting apps but still I started facing battery issues like,
1. After putting on charge, display shows that it is charging but no progress at all (it freezes at certain %)
2. When the phone is switched off and put on charge, the display just blinks up and goes off (lights on lights off) nothing else appears and no battery progress
3. Sometimes the phone charges properly to 100% but after disconnecting cable, battery status is 50-60%
The above problems occur not all the time.
The things that I tried,
1. Did unroot my phone and removed SuperSU
2. Did a factory reset from phone's settings option.
3. Got an original new battery from service center
4. Took the phone to Samsung customer care (they couldn't find any problem at all and advised that the problem must be in the charger) (I tried to charge with samsung charger, sony's charger & portable charger)
5. Changed USB cables for charging
6. Tried Battery Calibration apk by Nema
7. I think the charging port is little bit damaged but I can still get the phone to charge
Even after doing all the above things the problems still occur sometimes. Other than that the phone works fine, there is no BOOTLOOP.
When I try to boot it into recovery mode (volume up+home+switch on and release after SAMSUNG logo) but after releasing the buttons the SAMSUNG GT-i8552 logo appears and phone starts with no warning and all, it's not accessing the recovery mode or download mode too.
Is there any solution to the battery related issues or do I need to flash the stock firmware again?
I am not aware of the steps of flashing firmware, please do redirect.
Thank You!!

Help! Xperia Z Ultra without OS and unable to charge it.

I accidently wiped off my system with cache and others with twrp, I was going to flash another ROM with it but i ended up on the SONY screen and now I'm unable to get into recovery itself and the sad part is that phone was on very low charge at that moment and it has drained now, even if it charges a bit it shows up at that SONY logo with no signs of further charging.
I want to charge it so that i can enter flashmode or fastboot mode so that I can atleast flash it with a ROM.
Really disturbed without OS and can't even do anything to it.
Please HELP! or tell about any charging signs or something.
Thanks

why not turn phone off and let it charge then? you can force phone to shutdown by pressing/holding power + vol up button for 30sec
If it does not charge (it happened to me once on my ultra) I understand your concern.
Here is how I over came the issue, i downloaded flashtool and a flashable rom.
Start flashtool, chose to flash device, flashmode, open your rom, in the exclude section, exclude all but the first line, plug in your phone in flash mode, flash line 1, remove your phone, keep flashtool open, stick the phone it on the charger for 10mins (this seems to give it a very small charge, enough for a minute flashing) do the same with each line of the rom.
I will not say this is going to work, but it has worked for me.
At one point (after the 5th line or so) it just starts accepting a charge then you can finish the whole rom.

Phone Doesnt Boot up without charging.

I'm Facing this very unkind prob since 2 days. Phone goes to TWRP as normal no automatic switch off & same to fastboot. To check it was battery problem i kept to twrp overnight and phone was on. Flashed stock ROM via redwolf. since facing same prob. Phone is working fine when charge is connected,if charger is removed it switch off after 5 min, and phone doesnt boot up.:crying::crying:
Hi did you find any solution for this problem?
