Hola,
Was wondering if anyone or a chef could post a ATT_SPLASH.nbh file so I can get a stock boot screen vs the HTC boot screen that is part of the ROM I flashed?
I do have this ATT_SPLASH.nbh form my old Fuze, but trying to flash it does not work. I ran the AT&T ROMUpdateUtility.exe and also the TopazRUUWrapper.exe file using the AT&T_SPLASH.nbh, but my Pure phone gets stuck at the HardSPL screen and just sits and sits.
Thanks in advance...
m0
This is what worked for me. Rename the extracted "RUU_signed.nbh" to "topaimg.nbh" and try flashing using the storage card method by copying the renamed "topaimg.nbh" to the root of your storage card and performing a reset while holding volume down. It'll give you a wrong code error during the first run, but it'll automatically reset and complete it the second time around, and you'll have your stock boot splash screen.
Is there a way to pull the splash screen off of my old phone, i swaped phones because of hw failure but i need the splash screen i had on that phone I will never find it again. I thought there was a Pull command but it dont work. Please help anyone.

It should have been a zip file when you flashed it. It might still be on your sdcard or your PC.
E.T. has some great splashes also

Hiya everyone
okay, so i had my flyer on honeycomb, no problem booted up fine.
Then i unlocked the boot loader and rooted it.... once again had no problems booting up and operating.
So then i decideed to put dexters jellybean cfw on my flyer.
I downloaded the ROM and put it on my sd-card, went into recovery with rom manager, did a factory reset, cleared the cache and then went ahead and installed the rom from sc card.
It guided me through the installation, installed and it said it was complete; i went ahead and rebooted.....the htc logo appeared for a few seconds like it normally does (doesn't say quietly brilliant) and then the screen goes black although the back-light is on (no boot animation, like it said on dexters forum) but it doesnt do anything else.... it stays on the black screen, i left if for 2 hours and still nothing; stayed on the black, backlit screen???
so i re-installed it wiping all data etc etc.
and still nothing.
So i would like to put it back to honeycomb (baring in mind i cant actually get onto the device)
can anyone tell me how to do so?
any help would be appreciated
Cheers
Bradley
Since you are bootloader unlocked with S-On, you need to flash the boot.img (kernel) separately in fastboot.
- With the ROM zip file on your PC, open the zip (with WinZip or similar). You will see a file in the parent directory named "boot.img" (no quotes). Extract this file.
- Put the boot.img file into the same folder as fastboot.exe (which you should already have if you unlocked the bootloader).
- Connect the Flyer to your PC using USB. Reboot Flyer into bootloader, than select "fastboot" on the Flyer.
- Open cmd prompt on your PC, change directory to where fastboot.exe is.
- Enter the following command into command prompt:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
- Let the boot.img flash finish. Reboot the phone, and you should be good to go.
You'll have to do this when flashing any custom ROM.
Sorry for an extremely late reply, but thank you so much, it worked

You need to upgrade to the HC hboot first, using this procedure: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1358758
GB custom ROMs = need GB hboot
HC, ICS, or JB custom ROMs = need HC hboot.
Hi there,
have trouble with my Vodafone Smart 3 / Alcatel 975 - how I wrote after change boot animation phone only show BOOT LOGO and when will start a boot animation, dont start and screen is black.
Try to do a recovery and Flashtool to download a boot and recovery images, display in recovery mode OK,but nothing happens
Any solution for that error.....I think that bootanimation.zip, which I copy to root/custpack/ ???res/media (dont remember exactly) is wrong, cause I changed boot animation for 10 times and work perfectly,BUT can get into this directory to erase it.(if it will helps me).
Device works ok, but with no images on display...brightness ok, lock screen ok,..everything ok,but with no images..I try these things by my memory

Put bootanimation GIF on custpack/jrd custres/media
You will have to convert the bootanimation to GIF. Search Google

How should I do this??? With BLACKSCREEN? when I access device with usb conection, have NOT access to this directory! If I have an access to directory custpack/jrd custres/media - I erase old bootanimation an put original or another functional boot anim.
Please, WHAT SHOULD I DO In this case?:crying:
Flash this using fastboot to remove the black screen on boot. This is the original boot logo. I will update this with more logos very soon.
Code:
fastboot flash logo logo.bin
I just tried this on my phone and it seems to have broken magisk in recovery. I flashed the logo in fastboot then booted to recovery and I get the missing signature or corrupt text like normal, but instead of booting it goes back to the bootloader... Any idea what's causing this problem? I didn't think the boot logo would affect anything.
Please add more logos or post a tutorial for the e6 thanks

Thanks for this! I have a rooted Moto E6 from Metro. I edited your file with "Gimp", then prepared/inserted the image into the logo.bin file with "MotoBootLogoMaker". I got rid of the annoying bootloader unlocked, "N/A" message. In its place is HELLO MOTO(Bold, white, size 18), at the top left of the startup screen. It doesn't have to be "HELLO MOTO", it can be anything you want.. I have two versions, one is "HELLO MOTO" and the other is "#$%^ THE CARRIERS".
The boot-up time is the same.. I guess we are not allowed to alter our own equipment without a penalty. The manufacturers/carriers have way to much control over our devices these days! Something definitely needs to change..
1. Download and install both MotoBootLogoMaker, and Gimp. Create a working folder such as "MotoLogo".
2. Download the above, logo.bin file and open it with MotoBootLogoMaker. There will be 5 instances where the image will show from inside the logo.bin: logo_boot, logo_unlocked, yellow, orange and red.
Extract the logo_boot image to your working folder. You can name it logo1.png. Leave the program open.
3. Open extracted logo1.png image with Gimp. Use text tool to enter your new text and edit the top portion of the image so that the N/A will be thoroughly covered. Its a bit tricky because you can't see the N/A in MotoBootLogoMaker. I used bold white with size 18, because the N/A was white and the new sized text covers it just fine. I exported it as logo.png file to my working folder.
4. Now go back to MotoBootLogoMaker and "Replace" the logo.bin, logo_boot, logo_unlocked, yellow, orange and red images with your edited png.. Click save as logo.bin to your Adb folder, and then flash using, "fastboot flash logo logo.bin" while in fastboot mode.
Done....
The programs, MotoBootLogoMaker and Gimp can be found through Google..
I hope everyone is well and weathering the current breakdown of America! Wishing the best, and thanks again!
