I can see lot of threads regarding the same but nothing is clear and confirmed.
Can any one please help to post a single thread that will help to answer these concerns.
1. Is ATOM life softwares applicatible for atom executive ?
2. Upgrade XDA atom exec from WM5 to WM6.5 (please on step by step instruction to download, install and configuraing and the pros and cos of the same)
your help will be much appreaciated like new users like me and GOD BLESS YOU ALL

You need to do search search... in xda-developers.. also try xda ftp folders.. (look into Wiki for ftp help.. )

And that's the problem!
The Atom isn't good documented in the Wiki. The big problem is, that here are fewer people with good technical knowledge than in the HTC devices forum.
The second problem is the differences between Atom/Exec/Life.
In about 2 weeks O2 Germany releases the XDA Comet. That's the name of the Atom Life in Germany.(with WM6)
Don't mention the HP derivates.
I bet that the confusion is perfect.
Another problem is, that this devices are domestic in the asian region and informations in chinese for non chinese people are pretty useless.
My XDA Comet will be delivered in about 2 weeks and I'm searching for good Informations since a few days.
But,for example, what's the use of a romkitchen in chinese language for the Atom and I have no documentations if I could use it on Atom Life and how to flash it?
OK an official ROMupdate isn't the problem, but what about custom ROMs ?

I am currently using Atom Exec under WM5 system (Traditional Chinese version), and I would like to flash my device to WM6 (English version). Does anyone can advice which WM6 (English version) out there is suitable for me? Moreover, please also advice how can I flash my device to WM5 (English version) as well.

My advice is to search a little, read a little and test a little, nobody can tell you what is suitable for you that you must decide for yourself and interms of "how to" just read the thread descriptions and user posts

as for you albert i would recommend you to install AKU0.7 by Charteux .You can find the ROM and the instructions to install it here mate

Assuming you already upgraded to WM6, use the same method to downgrade to WM5!

You need your original WWE WM5 AtomExec ROM to do that.
Go to www.seeo2.com , Hong Kong, English, and register, make the download the last rom in the site. Use the same method to downgrade.

till now I wasted 3 weeks of searching and investigating but it seems there is no direct way to do this till now , So, I decide to ask the experts here for a help .

And please for those who has similar problem let’s share the ideas here.

yeah, cook new rom hehehe. you didn't actually waste 3 weeks of searching, it's just that there are no avail wm6.5 yet for the atom. it's good to know that some people are actually doing their homework before braging to xda-dev.
perhaps you can help the atom users if you can port the wm6.5 to atom

You can always have a try flashing an ATOM LIFE Rom on your XDA....so you really could say: COoOkeD !! )
