Hi xda members, The problem is I was trying to solve the problem of the liquid protection, after you hold the screen for ten seconds it become unresponsive so i found this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21936400&postcount=1 and tried it but what id did was not replace the file i just made an edit of it, copy the content from the file i downloaded from the forum and paste it on the original file, i made a backup of the original file content but when i restarted the phone the screen was totally unresponsive so i can't do anything and the worst part is that i can not go into fastboot mode or recovery because the bootloader is totally locked i had bootstrap recovery installed but it is useless if i can not open it, i was thinking on a way to access the system files from a Pc so i can restore the old file.. but the problem is that the mothods are flashing a file and go into fastboot but i can't go into fastboot mode because it throws an error "Failed to boot in fastboot mode" or something like that so i thin i'm totally screwd, and i'm hoping that you guys can help me out with this.. Thank you.
Hi there,
have trouble with my Vodafone Smart 3 / Alcatel 975 - how I wrote after change boot animation phone only show BOOT LOGO and when will start a boot animation, dont start and screen is black.
Try to do a recovery and Flashtool to download a boot and recovery images, display in recovery mode OK,but nothing happens
Any solution for that error.....I think that bootanimation.zip, which I copy to root/custpack/ ???res/media (dont remember exactly) is wrong, cause I changed boot animation for 10 times and work perfectly,BUT can get into this directory to erase it.(if it will helps me).
Device works ok, but with no images on display...brightness ok, lock screen ok,..everything ok,but with no images..I try these things by my memory

Put bootanimation GIF on custpack/jrd custres/media
You will have to convert the bootanimation to GIF. Search Google

How should I do this??? With BLACKSCREEN? when I access device with usb conection, have NOT access to this directory! If I have an access to directory custpack/jrd custres/media - I erase old bootanimation an put original or another functional boot anim.
Please, WHAT SHOULD I DO In this case?:crying:
Hello guys!
I have a CCE SK504, a brazilian smartphone, and it works nice and all.
But i was trying to change my boot screen animation, when you turn on the cellphone, and i found one wich i liked. the resolution was wrong, so i opened the .zip file and edited the text archive ( 1080 x 1920, i changed to 540x960 that is my phone resolution).
It didn't worked very well
Now, when i turn it on, my phone shows "Android", but freezes in a black screen when the animation is supposed to come, and stays forever until i remove battery.
I can access the download and the recovery mode (by pressing vol + and power)
As the problem is on bootanimation.zip, is there some way to access phone internal files and change it to an valid .zip?
The sdcard works when i connect on pc, my phone is rooted but the recovery is not custom.
Thanks, and sorry about my bad english!
Bumping. thanks!
Bump, actually something happened:
i installed an rom in recovery mode.
Now when i turn the phone on, it shows ANDROID, but stays on a black screen like before...
So i got an friend phone and called my number
My cellphone started to vibrate! also the virtual keys vibrate when i touch then, but the phone stills stay with the black screen.
There is some way to force the image?
I'm not a n00b, I've rooted every Android device I've ever had, and I have my OnePlus Two running the latest CM14.1 nightlies. But I can not figure out what to do for this poor tablet.
I had downloaded and installed an OTA from Lenovo, but it must have been corrupt because the tablet got stuck in a boot loop. I can boot into recovery, so I tried formatting it and clearing all the caches, then it goes to a screen with a loading bar, which fills completely and just sits there. I've left the thing on all night. Nothing.
Sending it to Lenovo is a no-go because I voided the warranty when I rooted it.
I've also tried reinstalling the stock firmware, but the Intel phone flash tool either get's blocked by Windows 10 (with no way to whitelist it) or fails to flash properly.

What I've tried:
Just plain booting it - screen turns on and doesn't do anything, just black
Rebooting through recovery (power + vol_up) - plays boot animation, goes to a screen with a loading bar like it does after an update, but once the bar fills, a white line appears at the top of the screen and nothing happens
Downloading the official KitKat firmware (http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/lenovo-tab-s8-50f-stock-firmware-rom-t2989791), unarchiving the rar file and rearchiving it into a .zip, putting it on a MicroSD card, putting the card in the tablet, flashing through recovery - can't find the .zip, says SD card is blank
Clearing caches and wiping data - same as when rebooting through recovery
Using the Intel phone flash tool through bootloader (power + vol_down) - tool can't find device
Using the same tool through fastboot (power + vol_up + vol_down) - gets to the sleep 4000 ms step, reboots the device, then the device goes to the same loading screen and the flash tool can't contact it. I think it's trying to boot into the OS to finish the flash, but that's the problem to begin with
I've tried loading the temporary CWM session but that fails
I can't for the life of me figure out what the @bailka011 Unlock Tool is supposed to do or how to use it, plus the download link isn't working.
Can someone please guide my through this? I'm so confused

what did it says the update would do? android 6.0? latest update for this tablet was released 7 months ago... the unlock tool u mentioned unlocks the bootloader, and try to find a win7 pc to do the flashing. some users on a different forum stated that windows 10 will cause problems during flashing
good luck

This update was seven months ago. It did not claim to bring 6.0, just minor fixes.
Thank you for clearing that up, now I just have to figure out how to download and use it xD.
Also I have figured out how to enable the hidden administrator account in Win10 and use that to get around the security warning, still tries to boot partway through flashing. Unless there's some other part of Win10 that's disagreeing with it.

I have a Samsung galaxy prevail LTE (sm-g30p) that isn't finishing its boot. It goes into recovery and into the Odin thing but It won't fully boot up, it just stays stuck on the SAMSUNG thing. I have no idea how this happened, I just took it out of my pocket and it was like that. I think maybe I pressed something while it was in my pocket. (I was watching a video file using the default video player and the screen doesn't turn off when you press off it just ignores all touches unless you tap the lock icon at the top.)
I don't think my phone is rooted, I don't remember if I successfully rooted it or not. My computer won't recognize it when it is plugged in. It gives me the "can't recognize USB" error. I've tried using ODIN and ADB but they can't detect it. I've also tried flashing TWRP and a debrick image from a MicroSD but it won't work. I even used win32 disk imager. Every time I try to update from external storage it gives me this error:
Applied the CSC-code: XAS
did not match sized '/system/csc/common/system/csc/others.xml' (No such file or directory)
What should I do?
I could just factory reset it but I wanna get my files off of it first
