Hi,
I've installed an older version of BW clock onto my Open Home page however, the animations are not working and it sometimes is force closing.
I have reinstalled but still no joy.
Anyone know if it actually does work on an alternative home screen or do you have to use only on the normal HTC one. (I would suggest pretty pointless if that was the case).
Can anyone advise?

I just tried SlideScreen on my NC and it looks and works beautifully! Only a few bugs/cons:
- landscape mode doesn't work, but you can turn this option off
- application grid is not the prettiest. It feels a bit cramped. Only 8 favorite icons appear at the top where it can fit 14 on our bigger screens. The background for those top icons appears to be made for a screen half the size.
- no other email support other than gmail
I love it. This is what I want to use my tablet for. Makes me kinda wish I had an android phone instead of my iphone4.
I have the pro version for my Evo, never used it much. Installing now on NC, with the real estate size it might be worthwhile now that you mention it.

However, upon rebooting the Nook Slidescreen does not load. When trying to choose it as my home screen it just goes black, buttons appear at the bottom for a short while then all black again in a repeating loop. My other launchers still work fine. Anyone else experienced this?
I just installed the 2.0 beta 7 apk. Landscape works. App grid is less congested. Works great!

Press the menu button as soon as it appears, then wait for the app icons to load. It should work fine from there.
my problem still about app drawer too big.. maybe not compatible with res resolution screen..huh,
First of all, let me say, you all are awesome! Without you, my tablet would be so plain! I just got it this past week, and after watching videos and reading through your forums, I knew I had to try to root mine.
So, I have a question - and it may seem silly, but I've looked all through my tablet at settings and such, and I cannot find a way to fix this little problem.
I used Clockworks and I loaded Vegan version 7 as my OS. I love the Vegan, but in checking things out and personalizing it, I put some of the main icons on the bottom of my main screen. One of those main icons is the one that you touch to pull up a screen with all your apps on it. Well, somehow or another (I just can't figure out what happened) I managed to do something that caused the icon to malfunction. When you touch the app icon, instead of showing me a screen of all my apps, it shows a see-through blank screen.
I cannot figure out how to fix this so the icon will bring up a screen of my apps again. I figure the icon works as a shortcut to get to the directory of my apps, but I just cannot figure out how to fix it. I don't really know if it's something I did or if it is a glitch in the program.
Any thoughts?

Menu- Settings- Apllications- manage aplications - then unistall it and try reinstalling it.
Have you tried changing your launcher to something else? Maybe VT Launcher is fouled?

Thank you, but there is no launcher icon in those settings to uninstall and reinstall. I thought maybe deleting the icon that was on the screen and then reapplying the icon to the desktop would help, but it didn't - I still just get a blank screen with no program apps showing.
I appreciate you responding. I'm still stuck with the problem, if anybody else wants to give it a try.
Do you think maybe I should just reinstall the VEgan program? Will my apps still be there when I do that?

You've probably created a blank 'catalog'.
The App drawer allows you to create catalogs of different apps (so you can organize your app drawer, etc).
After opening your App Drawer, press menu and see if you don't have some options regarding catalogs.
I have when I have the app tiny flashlight +led downloaded, and it's widget on the homescreen to the right of the main one that when I come from txt messenger..or hit home ( to see all the screens at once) then hit home again my screen will glitch.
Will someone please please try this to see if it is my phone, or the app. Please hit the home button a few times, and go from other apps back to main home screen and see if you get a glitch. Only seems to glitch whatever is on that main screen.. like in my case..beautiful widgets and smooth calendar widget. Also had a similar problem with visidon applock. On that one I would hit the home button and after a few times the screen previews would go all wonky.
I just need to know if my phone is messed up or if these 2 apps just cause problems with the RAZR. I just think its odd that I'm having problems with 2 different apps.

CORRECTION
both apps are now deleted and am still having the problem.
Can only describe as a screen glitch. widgets glitch out. I think you have to have some sort of widgets on the screen to see the issue. I took off all widgets other than the stock blur ones, and still have the issue.
Any help or ideas? Anyone having the same issue?
Yep I get this as well, especially on my power control plus widget.

I'm running the regular stock system (unrooted for the moment) and I'm having a small problem with my lockscreen (which is currently set to 'Productivity', but the issue persists across others. Any touch to the screen will unlock the phone and bring me to my homescreen, anywhere on the screen regardless of whether I hit an app or not. Furthermore, I can't open up the apps in the drawer with a drag as you are supposed to be able to do.
I got the phone a few days ago and everything worked fine until some point yesterday. I'm not sure if an app is interfereing with it and I've done the basic steps of rebooting, changing lock screens, adding a password etc. I'm wondering if anyone else has run into this problem before and if they have a way to fix it?
(Also, I'm running Apex Launcher Pro, but I tried just running Sense again and the problem persists)

Tried to put a widget on the home screen (Android 4.1.2) in the conventional manner - drag and drop, but when I released the widget it didn't appear. OK...so maybe I was off to the side or something so I tried again. This time I get a pop up window that says something like "The widget is already on the home page. Do you want to do it again?" So I let it go and the widget appears. So the question is: where's the first one I dragged to the desktop? I tried moving all of the other icons on the screen and the one I tried to place there in the first place is no where to be found.
How can I show every icon that's supposed to be on the home page?
Would uninstalling then reinstalling that particular app delete all widgets etc. from the phone?
All suggestions are appreciated?
