An easy way to convert Mod/Tod video to regular video - Windows Mobile Apps and Games

Anyone who has purchased a JVC Everio HDD video camera has probably learned that

[Q] Is there a way to record video in a format other than 3gp?

Is there a way to record video in a codec other than 3gp? Or is there an app that anyone knows of that will allow you to record video in different formats like .avi .mp4
I was pleased to find that the camera for the froyo 2.2 build that eugene made shoots in the same HD aspect ratio as the 2.1 build but formats to MP4
also there are many encoding programs that work well. I am presently using Oxelon Media Converter to convert to AVI for editing in Premier and posting video on youtube in 720HD
Yeah I can convert them but I'd like to avoid having to add the extra step. I might have to check out that Rom if I no one else has any other solutions.

Videos (MP4) wont play on 10.1 Tab

What is a really good video converter in which I can convert my MP4 so it can play on my Galaxy Tab 10.1 without losing any video/audio quality and still keeping the size intact?
Use MeGUI.
Before you go through the hassle of converting why not try a different player?
DicePlayer
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.inisoft.mediaplayer.trial
MX Video Player
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.mxtech.videoplayer.ad&hl=en
thanks DicePlayer works perfect but I wouldn't pay for an app when I can convert for free.
All I need to know is how to convert it and i'll be set.
Does anybody know or have a guide to converting Galaxy Tab Videos?
Did you read my reply? What better tool than that you need? MeGUI has all the goodies built-in to convert any movie into an Android (and many others) format. Not to mention it is a professional tool, not like all the other crap "convert" wannabe's who charge you money for what should be free.

[Q] Question about converter

Is there a way, that an app can use camera chip to convert videos? When I record video in 1080p and want convert this in my laptop to 640p, comp will huff and puff and work for few hours to do this.
And here is my idea - if I put video through HDMI to fullhd TV and record it with another phone in 640p, the whole process will only take time needed to view material.
Is there a way to stream data from SD card to video chip and record output in the phone memory?
Almost there...
Not a direct solution to you but...
You could play the video in full hd from your mobile, and record it on your computer just as you mentioned, but you'll need a video capture device/board for this, on your PC. If I recall correctly, it's not particularly expensive, nor complex (you may find usb versions).
Cheers.

[Q] Nexus 10 Video Recording Format?

I'm thinking of buying a Google Nexus 10. I'm very tightly integrated with Google Apps, so I'm thinking it might be the best tablet for me. Never had a table before.
I'm curious as to what format it records videos? I haven't found much info Googling around the web about recording formats. I'd like to record some stuff, then transfer the video to my MacBook and import into iMovie for editing. I'd also like to just upload short video clips directly to YouTube and Facebook. iMovie seems a bit picky as to what video formats it uses. And I'd also like to be able to just transfer the video to my MacBook and view it in Picasa (I don't like or use iPhoto).
I have an Android phone which I really like. And my computer is a Mac. I am thinking of the iPad, too, of course, but I really love my Android Phone so... the video recording is very important to me.
Thanks!

Possible to use phone as a webcam over USB, but stream it at 4K?

Hello out there
I want to use my Galaxy Note 3 as a webcam. I thought why not, since it has a really good camera, which can record in 4K easily.
A good thing about the phone, is that it comes with USB 3.0 (first and only phone?). However, newer phones with USB Type-C should be possible to deliver a video stream in 4K easily as well.
So here's my question. Are there any apps out there, which can stream my Android phone's camera to my Windows PC, but show it at 4K resolution with highest bitrate possible? So the quality is basically like recording a video on the phone.
I have found plenty of apps that can do this, but the bitrate and resolution is so low, that I can barely see myself in the video stream. It is really bad.
Thanks in advance!
