I don't know if it's in true section, but I need help, so excuse me for my English.
I ran SuperD 1.8 for maby a week and yeasterday I couldn't join via Wifi. I haven't
data rouming so I need wifi connection. When I try to turn on Wifi, it says me:
"Unable to start Wi-Fi". I don't know what I have to do. I flashed many different ROMs,
but it's the same with Wifi. Thanks for any reply.

hi i have a problem i flashed my sgs by odin and after reboot everything is like my old rom, launcher programs properties everything except theam and wi-fi is not working. it remembers my password from old rom and its connecting but no internet by wi fi only by 3g.I tried to delete (forget) connection and connect again but no results please help. how can i install that rom like new?! thanks

Sorry for posting a new thread but lets face it even thou for safety reasons there is a stupid rule that doesnt let me post at development page because im a noob(wtf? serious much?) where i found a good thread to post about this:
I have problem with my phone it is 2.3.5 cwm7 it turns on wifi by itself i can even see it turn on itself whenever i enter settings and ill go turn off wifi then data activates by itself and vice versa on and on like it doesnt want to lose connection i thought first could be some app but i closed all network related apps pls help its annoying

I didn't heard about such problem yet,
but I recommend a full and clean re-install of the rom.
Wipe cache, data, etc before installing (backup your data if you want to)
If it doesn't help, then you should maybe look for another rom.

Hi guys,
yesterday i rooted my device, did downgrade to 1.31 (followed instructions on Cyanogenmod wiki and from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1223950 ) then rooted the phone successfully.... before root i was able on 2.2 froyo normally access internet, phone connected and started recieveing data etc... but now on the 2.1 version i installed (rootedupdate.zip) , when i connect to on wifi, i am not able to get any data from the internet, wifi is connected but nothing is going trough... i have tried several radios ( 05,21,26L,13) ... (unforutnatelly i dont remember which radio i had before starting doing all this changes) ....
maybe i am not following correct procedure when flashing radios ... doing it over CWM 2.05.7 , radio change is visible in the recovery menu where HBOOT version is mentioned etc, also in the system itself... so i assume i am doing it correctly
does anybody know what can i do now... thanks

hi, i have an issue, i flashed this rom, all is good, but i am facing issue, when wifi is connected, signal strengh is perfect, but am not getting any data, its just simly connected, ip address matches as it should, but cannot view any pages...

How can one restore his wifi connection after all the ROM updates, rooting, etc. Apparently, the wifi needs some sort of software installation?
Bluetooth works perfectly. Wifi scans, finds, asks for password but does not connect.

Hey there, first make sure you are using the correct password .
If you use doomelord's kernel you have to flash his WiFi module... Get it from here

Long story short I updated my phone and all went well. About a day or two later, my phone randomly disconnected from wifi, and will now no longer show any wifi connections after scanning. I have tried wiping and reinstalling from the recovery. I can't download the exact version of this ROM I was on because the version doesn't exist for download anymore. I, however, could not see how the ROM could be the problem, since wifi was just functioning after the first install. Is there an area I am missing that is not getting reset? It COULD be efc's, but I have my IMEI number listed.
I have the LG Optimous L9 P769 and this is the ROM. As you can tell, our forum isn't exactly a very busy or active forum.
P.S. I was on a v2.x and went to v3.4
Anything that could help, please feel free to comment or ask anything needed!

Seems like it might be kernel related, perhaps... Which variant (carrier) P769 do you have?
