Does anyone know how to send files with my bluetooth on a htc hero. i know that with the new 2.1 i can send pictures but how do i send files that are on my sd card??? any suggestions would be greatly appreicated
Handset: T-Mobile G2
Running: Villian 3.1 (the best rom i have ever used thus far)
you need a file browser!
download ASTRO, long press on the file, click send and then you can choose Bluetooth!
well bloody hell i always use astro and now i know lol does this work on the 1.5??
I tried to send files with astro but it always says transfer failed
*sending via gallery works, but i also want to send music and other files
Same here, tried sending a file to nokia xpressmusic and it failed every time.
i managed to send a photo an mp3 and a .jav file to my fiancee's lg gw520 with no problem what so ever but i am running the latest villian 3.1 rom

Basically it's an itsy bitsy super tiny Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR dongle that allows you to easily push files back and forth from your phone. I just bought this for 6.99 and now it's up to 14.99.
In short, it works terrific but you have to get the latest drivers from ASUS. The ones on the mini disc that it came with just would not work for me.
Here's a link on Newegg:

And here's how I somehow got lucky with a great price and free shipping.

Disregard how the item is labeled 2.0. It's 2.1 + EDR.
I bought mine today and downloaded the drivers from the website. I took over 1 min to transfer a 7 MB file.. Is that similar to your speed. I am currently using a tmobile vibrant.
Larger files definitely aren't that quick on Bluetooth but most of the time I'm just transferring a few pictures, an APK, documents, etc. If your transferring music and video files you are probably going to want to do that over USB or WiFi.

I just got security cameras installed at work. wwwdot genivtechnology dotcom is the manufacture. If you search "G4SS" that is the app I'm supposed to use. The app is not compatible with the Thunderbolt. Is it ALL Thunderbolts or just mine? I've talked to some people who said they can pull it up and get the download button. I'm NOT rooted, but I'm running Android2.3.4. Is there a way to download it to my pc then transfer it to my SD card and open it that way??
Thanks in advance.

Recently my photoapp Quickpic deleted by itself my Camera FV-5 videomap, a map which contain alot of videos on my young kids
Recoveryprograms like Recuva dosen't recognize my phone(an unrooted Oneplus One) because it uses MTP instead of USB mass storage.
There are recovery programs for android that works, but the phone need to be rooted to make it work and the problem with my phone is in order to get it rooted I need to wipe the whole phone which will make it almost impossible to get the deleted files back
A memeber on Oneplus One's website told me that his phone was recognize as a cd-unit on his pc(see on the picture below) and he can access the files on it. He dosnt know why and how the pc recognize it as a cd-unit but If someone here know how to I would really appreciate to learn how to make my pc to do that.
I post this in this forum because no one could help me in Oneplus One section and it is a bigger chance to get more replys in this forum section. Hope it is ok

Hello dear XDA Community,
I am currently trying to create a kind of website where you can upload files to my phones local storage.
To do so, I would just make the person that wants to share a file with me log into my phones wifi tethering.
Then they should be able to type some specific address into their searchbar to get to a form where they can upload files straight to my internal storage.
What I´ve tried so far:
I first tested everything on Windows with Apache and xampp.
After that I downloaded an App called Server for PHP.
When I start the server, everything works so far and I can execute my upload php files using chrome and upload files from my storage to a before specified folder.
So I thought that I could just use my secondary phone to connect to the wifi hotspot and type in the address (0.0.0.0:8080), but it can`t load the page.
Have any of you tried something similar before and do you know a way to get it to work?
I will also upload some screenshots and the php files later.
Thanks for your help already!!!

Hi Guys. I want to transfer music to Gtr 2. In Zepp app i go to watch profile. Then Music, upload music and nothing happens. There's no file manager and the page is blank. I'm not able to choose anything to upload. I googled it for a long time with no luck. Any solutions?

Indeed my music is in m4a. Thanks a lot )))))
Hello, I have been able to upload a mp3 file. It works fine. This was for testing the function.
To delete the song/file, it can only be done from the watch but it is not very intuitive though. I managed to do it.
Is there a way to use a PC with the watch connected and drag and drop files ? A king of "amazfit" interface on desktop to manage the music files etc..? I might be dreaming a bit here
