Use JTAG cable and JFLASHMM software to restore bootloader.
And learn russian Boys from 4pda.ru already restored their bootloaders.
PLEASE LEARN TO READ THE WIKI PAGE...after reading this , last resort is the forum
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=ATOM_BRICK
Your device is bricked, if and only if, your device won't start normally... even if you press soft-reset, hard-reset, or even bootloader mode buttons. Usually a brick is caused by improper ROM upgrade, and using tools that modify the ROM. Before panicking, do the following:
Brick Test:
1. Make sure your device has ample battery charge. If you're not sure plug it in with the wall charger for at least 10min
2. Remove your battery for at least 1 minute
3. Replace your battery while observing the LED lights
4. If the LED blinks once upon battery insertion, you might have hope yet
The only way to upgrade on a semi-brick device, is to upgrade through bootloader mode. No bootloader mode, No upgrade possible - period.
Entering Bootloader Mode on Semi-Brick Atom:
1. Remove battery for for at least 1 minute
2. Press CAMERA+RESET(stylus) simultaneously
3. Insert battery while still holding the buttons
4. Release the buttons at the same time (You should see bootloader screen)
Note: Failure to hold the buttons at the same time during battery insertion will cause it not to work.
----------------------------------------------
If nothing HAPPENED after this trial of revival, your atom MAYBE BRICKED/forever dead.
If there is no LED LIGHT on ur atom, YOUR ATOM IS BRICKED.
sorry my friend, your phone is a paperweight NOW if this is the situation.
LAST RESORT: O2 service center, ur lucky if they have support in ur country. but the price for fixing (if not under warranty)...mmmm a new iphone ;-)

Only battery led is on if the phone is charging.
I think it is permanently damaged.

1 - Remove the batery...wait some secounds
2 - Put the batery back on it
3 - Press POWER
4 - Press RESET with stylus and press the 2 softkeys (the keys that are on top of the red and green buttons)
5 - The phone will enter flash mode
6 - Use software to re-flash or use SD card to do it(SD card option: card must be inside when you do this!)
The same thing happened to me... but i lifted the cell and there was no cover in the battery...

Thanks to GraeFNZ (and helloworld1)...This is the correct procedure:
" How to recover from semi-brick state:
1. Prepare a sd card with proper diskimg.nb0.
2. Pull out the batter for a few minutes.
3. Press and hold two "-" button and at the same time, put the battery in.
4. Wait a few second and release the button, then after a while, the device will be in bootloader mode. "

Hey guys,
I'm not sure what the problem with this tablet is (just got it used from somebody for a very small fee). Here is what is happening and what I've tried so far.
no charger connected
- Tablet is completely dead.
- no combination of power button and volume up/down gets any kind of reaction from the tablet.
- Pressing the red reset button also does nothing at all (no vibration, no LED indicator)
Wall charger connected to USB
- the LED will turn on red for about 3 seconds
- the display will turn on and show the big battery symbol for 3 seconds, although there is no animation.
- display turns off and the cycle starts from the beginning.
- no combination of power button and volume up/down gets any kind of reaction from the tablet.
- Pressing the red reset button results in 3 vibrations
- tried with different wall chargers
Wall charger connected to magnetic contact
- the LED will NOT turn on
- the display will turn on and show the big battery symbol for 3 seconds, although there is no animation.
- display turns off and the cycle starts from the beginning.
- no combination of power button and volume up/down gets any kind of reaction from the tablet.
- Pressing the red reset button results in 3 vibrations
- tried with different wall chargers
connecting USB cable to PC
- using the flashtool, the tablet is started in flash mode
- pressing volume up, then connecting the USB cable the tablet is started in bootmode
- I can then flash the original ftf file via Flashtool without any errors, tablet is still not booting.
- I can even repair the tablet via the sony companion tool successfully, still, the tablet is not booting.
It seems to me that the battery is completely dead and doesn't hold a charge anymore. I also have a SGP511 and I'm pretty sure that it only boots after completely depleting the battery when there is a minimal charge present. So therefore I'm assuming that the battery is dead and there is no way to resurrect the tablet.
If anybody has any suggestions or tips that I should try, I'm all ears.
Thanks
EDIT: Solved by buying a new battery.
Hi
I Had similiar problem:
I have SGP521 and only fastboot was working.
I was able to fix it and to install AICP (Android 9) :
My steps (please adapt to SGP511 ):
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z2-tablet/development/7-x-x-carbonrom-cr-5-1-t3654983
get here the TRWP : for me TWRP_Castor.img
Flash it using Fastboot.
then fastboot reboot.
Now I should reboot in TRWP
we have as ZIP with AICP
aicp_castor_p-14.0-WEEKLY-20190322.zip
Try to
1. flash it over Install in TRWP
2. SIDELOAD - Go to advanced in TWRP start SIDELOAD MODE in TRWP : ADB SIDELOAD aicp_castor_p-14.0-WEEKLY-20190322.zip on PC
I Had problems, that my device was not identified as SGP521 (information seems to corrupt)
To fix this issue (only if necessary):
look at the zip Zip : folder \META-INF\com\google\android
file
updater-script
open it using a editor:
please delete first lines until "package_extract_dir(.." like marked
assert(getprop("ro.product.device") == "SGP521" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "SGP521" ||
getprop("ro.product.device") == "SGP541" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "SGP541" ||
getprop("ro.product.device") == "SGP551" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "SGP551" ||
getprop("ro.product.device") == "castor" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "castor" || abort("E3004: This package is for device: SGP521,SGP541,SGP551,castor; this device is " + getprop("ro.product.device") + ".");
ui_print("Target: Sony/SGP521/SGP521:6.0.1/23.5.A.1.291/2335002082:user/release-keys");
ifelse(is_mounted("/system"), unmount("/system"));:
package_extract_dir("install", "/tmp/install");
s..... here remaining part
save and replace the file in the ZIP.
Try again to flash / Sideload ZIP.
=> then it was working in my case.
I hope it helps you,
Martin

Short remarks to my previous post:
You can try flash OR sideload.
And the twrp you must try which works with your device
But I am assume and hope, that it can solve your issue.
Greetings M.
Hey Michel,
sorry for the late reply, I did not see your reply and thanks for taking the time to help out.
I also forgot to mention in my initial post that I already tried to flash TWRP. The flash is actually successful, but the tablet just won't boot into recovery. Issuing fastboot reboot results in the battery logo being shown, afterwards the LED turns blue again and I'm just back into fastboot mode.
At this point I'm pretty sure that this is tablet is a lost cause without a new battery, I don't see anything else that I could try at this point, but I'm of course still open for suggestions.
@hillbicks
Hi,
also had similar problems with SGP521 Global EU with Marshmellow.
Changed the battery at private company,
now running as "new".
Payed 80€.
Avoid Sony by all means. There official service provider asked 250€ since they wanted to change the fully functioning display as well.
Showed it later to a sony service center in Germany which said - nothing wrong with the display.
So why not change the battery ?
Regards
Kami

@xkami: Thanks for the reply and your suggestion. I went online and found some companies that were charging 160€ for a battery change. So I went ahead and bought the battery and some adhesive from ebay (40 bucks) and what do you know. After exchanging the battery, the tablet came back to life!
So thanks again everybody for the help, I'll mark this one as solved.
