Hex editor for PPC.
OUTSTANDING piece of software. I strongly recommend to click everywhere on its GUI to find ...interesting features.

Some obvious things:
- File and process editing
- Simple two-document interface
- Large files supported
- Portrait and landscape screen orientation supported
- File COMPARE
- simple hex/bin/dec/oct/whatever converter(middle of bottom bar)
and moar.
Program works on wm03/5.0/6.1/6.5, not sure about 6.5.x(gui may look weird, or maybe not).
Very, very nice piece of software, maybe someone find this useful. Useful on the go, imho.
It looks great something that I've always been loooking for. Unfortunately it doesn't behave properly in 6.5.5. I cannot access to the Edit menu. Edit gives File menu, so I got 2 file menus from Edit & File Softkey. Also because of the size of the softkey bar, I cannot access to the bottom line. Are you the developper of this software? If so could you fix this?
Thanks.
Nope, i am not developer of EDh, here's link to dev site:

In ap3 this was included:

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Is it also in ap4 or the addons, because i haven't found it yet and hope
not to have been affected from some kind of blindness...
Also is there any other program that can do the same and if possible to
include new word, new excel? I have seen it in wisbar but to install it just
for this, might be a liitle too much. Any suggestions?
Thank you
That was the "HTC Action Screen" if you do a search it should not be too hard to find, Not sure if there was a special VGA version or not but I know it can be found in the Kaiser forums.
Cheers

not in 4.0 theres a few apps out there that can give u a menu like this on ur today screen by assigning one of your softkeys to it. also that version was a qvga one that i just too the images and made them 480wide to fit into portrait mode. it still looked messed up in landscape. if anyone really wants it then i can make a cab but again i found there were better atlernatives.
Brau0303, Pawel062,
thanks for the info. I found wm5newmenu and i'm quite happy with it

Got tired of the flat ugly menu of my WM6.1 S740. So, i tried the FingerSuite. Finger Menu working perfectly well but Finger MessageBox has some issues.
So I re-cabbed FingerSuite to take out unneccesary files (retain FingerMenu QVGA files only) and modified the skin to my liking (attached cab.) If you want to learn how to skin/change color and fonts, please read the original FingerSuite Thread:
Install attached cab and softreset your device.
Looks nice but is there any way to use the number keys like in the normal menus?

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
I don't think so. This was originally made for TouchScreen devices, hence the name "FingerMenu."
You really have to use the DPad.

Nope, that's why I don't use it any more.
You won't need this in WM 6.5, since it supports the newer nicer menus.
Hi,
I'm working on making SystemUI of my new phone (Acer Liquid Z500) more look like stock one.. Acer UI sucks, but it's close to AOSP so I started tinkering with UI apk and finally found strings for original QS settings. Edited header xml, some other things and it started to look promising. Unfortunately, all I can see after I press QS button is black background. Nothing more, nothing less. I'm pretty sure all of them can be enabled somehow, because all the xml files and png images indicates that.
This is how it looked at the beginning:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Very laggy and not good looking Acer's implementation of hot toggles
This is after the editing:
(nothing is visible, only the button on header)
After all the theming via Xposed:
Not even GravityBox or XBlast have done anything about it, they're not here.
So I'm politely asking, if there's person with enough experience, could someone help me with this? I'm not that good in theming, unfortunately.
Attached stock UI apk and modified one.
@PünchUp your help is required .
please provide guidance
Hey,
I am digging a bit and modifying the ROMs of my devices that also display video clips via my application. One thing annoys me. The moment when the system opens the object from the video. A terribly unattractive icon appears for a moment, stretched to the limit (attachment). I do not know where to look for it to replace it with something else or replace it with a completely black screen.
My Application uses WebView and this icon pops up in two cases:
a) when I call a video file using the player
b) when I run a YouTube video
This video icon appears on different systems also on Android 5.0 or 7.0. This is a system icon, because on a Sony phone this icon is different, although I use the same application (ie it is not embedded in a player)

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",

}
I tried to search the directory structure after unpacking the .img file with the video keys, movie, hoping that I will find some directory with icons - unfortunately in vain. I hope that someone knows where to look or change it Or show me someone who can know about it.
Thank you very much in advance!
Hi XDA community
Currently I'm trying to implement a simple add-subtract button pair into my app, but for it to look how I want it to, I need to round only the left edges for the left button and only the right edges for the right button.
Also, once a certain limit is reached (f.e. you can keep adding 1 until you reach 10 / you can keep subtracting 1 until you reach 0), the corresponding button should gray out.
Here's a sketch of how I want it to look like:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I can handle the logic for the adding, subtracting and graying out, but for the selective edge-rounding I've found nothing so far.
Can you help me?
So I just asked a classmate and the answer is pretty elegant.
You first need to create a new layout resource file with a <shape> element as the base.
Then, you use "android:topLeftRadius" and the like to make a shape and pass it to the button like this: 'android:background="@drawable/rounded_button_left"' with "rounded_button_left" being the filename of my layout resource file.
Hope I could help someone
