Can someone please recommand me a good protector? I'm currently using the Smartphone Experts one...the material does a great job in reducing smudges and oil marks but I strongly recommend against that brand because it looks like it was cut by a 5 yo with safety sisscors. The non straight cuts and horrible fitment doesn't bother me too much as the Innocase covers the edges, but it causes the protector to be lifted around the entire edges. This drives me nuts as I'm pretty anal regarding cosmetics.
I know there's the Brando (?) one, but haven't found any reviews regarding quality..any others?

I've used only three brands of screen protectors... I can recommend that Clarivue is the best of Stock T-Mobile Screen Protector and Zagg. Clarivue is simple and is anti smudge/glare to apply to your phone and much tougher than T-Mobile Screen Protector, but Zagg is even more protective but it has issues like orange peel and the screen is very sticky and hard to apply, and it doesn't look so good with smudges and oil marks. The worst of all is the screen protector is very hard to slide your finger or even stylus around.

I have been using the Boxwave anti-glare screen protector and I think it is an excellent product but I do not like their customer service. Just recently I noticed a scratch on my LCD so I email Boxwave to send me a replacement.
It took them 3 days to return my email, and I ended up playing a cat and mouse game with them to send me a replacement. Keep in mind everytime I sent them an email it took them 3 days to get back to me. I first opened a case with them on 4/05 and finally as of yesterday they accepted the RMA and will send me a replacement.
That is very poor customer service due to the time frame. They do not even post phone #'s to call them directly. I really cannot tolerate poor customer service and I will be doing business with them again. I've dealt with ZAGG, bodyguardz and Phantom Skinz. None of them took this long to take care of an issue.
As I said if you want a nice anti glare screen protector try Boxwave's, but if issues arise don't expect them to handle it any time soon.
I read good things about Boxwave too, but $15.55 each shipped is a little too steep for me. According to ppl who have used both, quality between the 2 is minimal. :fingers crossed:

So I received my Clarivue Anti-glare protectors today. I must say the whole order processing/shipping process was very fast.
Comparing this to the SPE protector, physically, the material is noticably thinner which makes the touchscreen a bit more responsive. As for cut, this one is better, but still not perfect comparing to Seidio or OEM...but it's ok because my Innocase covers most of the edges. One thing that bugs me is the bottom is straight cut (not cut around the horns by the buttons), which I don't like.
I've been putting on protectors for years, yet I still suck at it. Took me about 10 tries...kept getting dust in between. Since it's static, I washed it a few times with soap and water and it held up fine. I also applied it when it was still a little wet. I want to note that this protector is cut very well, no rough cuts meaning no lifts/airbubbles around the edges like the SPE.
Performance...well, I'm quite disappointed. Yes, it's thinner so it's more responsive, but I never really had any complaints/issues with the SPE one in that department. HOLY COLOR BLEEDING!! With Anti-glare protectors, it comes with it. The SPE one had it, but not enough to ever bother me, but this one, it's pretty bad. Also, on white (ie email), you can really see the red/white/blue. I'm going to keep it on and see if my eyes adjust..if not, I'm going to try the Brando one or go back to the SPE.
Note, for the TP2, I've used OEM, Seidio, SPE, flea market special and now Clarivue.
Edit - Since it's a thread on anti-glare/smudge, I should mention that it does very well at hiding fingerprints. Oil/face prints is ok, hides it better than reg protectors like it should. As for glare..not sure yet. I'm a hermit working in the flippin bat cave so I'll see sunlight when I leave work.
Update - it's only been a couple days and it already got a bit scratched. only wear it saw was in and out from my pocket...not amused
Pro-Tech Seems to Work
I've used Pro-Tech screen protectors for my last three phones -- works great: put it on once (carefully! follow directions!) and forget about it. About $10 for screen protector, and mine still look good after a couple of years each. Makes a good anti-smudge surface.

figured id chime in on the screen protectors ...ive used about 3 different brands and finally bought the skinomi tech skin it was on amazon for 9.95 + ship and it comes with a lifetime replacment warranty ive had it for nearly a month now and although it doesnt help with the glare as much and shows finger prints .....i myself have personaly ran it through the paces ...i used my car key for a stylus one day ....just to see and sure enough it scratched it to what i thought was unrecoverable and then i plugged it in over night and when i woke up in the morning the screen was as clear as it was the night before so i wiped the fingerprints off of it and tried again
I have been using the ClearProtector for about a month now, and really like it so far. The fitment is just slightly off, but not so much that it would be a problem and it's very tough.
I personally LOVE my Ghost Armor. I used to only use Zagg, but I do not like the very rapid discoloration, the "orange peel" texture, and the stickyness of the film. Ghost Armor is clearer, thinner, smoother, and it doesn't give you that sticky feeling when you run your finger across it. It fits VERY well, and if you have a kiosk in your mall they will apply it for you in about 20 minutes. This also means if they mess up the application of the protector, they will just use a brand new one and fix it for you!

I ordered the Clarivue Anti-Glare with the same deal back in February. (Except no tax, so my total was $9.89 for 2 screen protectors.) HERE is link for CDMA version. Other versions available at www.clarivue.com.
I love it! It makes screen glare almost nonexistent. Best of all, no fingerprints! As an added bonus, the tactile feel of the protector is nice, sort of like running your finger over fine paper. After a day, you don't even notice the difference.
Some people claim to experience a very slight "wet" or "halo" effect. I don't see that normally, unless I have strong reading glasses on, and then I only slightly notice it. In any event, it is not enough to defeat the positives.
All in all, I highly recommend the Clarivue Anti-Glare Screen Protector! I've used daily since February and am still on my first of 2 protectors. And with the deal, it's even better!

I originally had a Martin Fields on my Touch Cruise that I loved, but they don't make the screen protectors for the T-mobile TP2
I used one on my MDA (prior to getting the TP2). I loved it (make sure to get the crystal clear, not the non-glare, if they have a choice). 3 years and looks like new, nice slick surface for using the stylus, extremely durable. But I don't have experience with any others (except the one that came in the TP2 box which I also like a lot).

I have used the Anti-Glare version for my 6700 and 6800/Mogul and love it. I used my phone in my car alot so the Anti-Glare is a must. It also finger print resistant, I'm using the screen protector that came with the phone now and the finger print smudges are just driving me nuts! I've order one and is waiting for shipment notice.

Speaking of anti-glare... im using one on my Iphone 3G..got it back from Manila,Philippines on my last holiday, some chinese brand screen that i thought will be just a piece of crap screen protector.
to my surprise it was 98% perfectly fit on my iphone...and it was a great anti-glare screen protector. my wife likes it now she wants 1 for the htc touch pro2. ive seen some on ebay i might order it this week.

I wouldn't say gritty, but its definitely neither frictionless or sticky and doesn't impede your fingers or stylus movement in anyway... its got a matted texture, and I really like using my stylus with that texture! more of a paper feel, offering just the right amount of feedback and friction.
You do lose a tiny bit of clarity compare to the Crystal version, but for the anti-glare, anti-finger print benefit, I love it!
finger prints and face oil on the stock screen protector have been driving me nuts!
I'm supposed to get it today but heading out of town for a wedding this weekend so may not have a chance to report or upload pix until monday

Are the ones you all mentioned, or from "BoxWave" better because they are made specifically for the purpose of screen protection? Or are the I.S. or Bodyguardz ones comparable, since they are built to offer all around protection?

Personally, the 3M crowd is better because then you don't have to worry about the screen protector getting scratched.
I had purchased a Boxwave Anti-Glare before and it worked decently, but the amount of glare it reduced was negated by the amount of brightness that needed to be increased.
Boxwave, in my opinion, works if you have a case protecting it. But trying doing this with a Boxwave.

NOT gritty.
I have used Boxwave screen protectors for years and have NEVER been disappointed. Excellent longlasting product that your stylus simply glides across; I have settled on the Anti-Glare. One post says that Boxwave isn't TOTALLY scratch-free like some other 'full-body' clear protectors. Correct. However, personally I do not like the idea of spraying a liquid all over my device in the application process. 'Full-body' protectors are applied just like installing tinting on you car's windows.
Suggested application procedure.
Before beginning I have two clean microfiber cloths; one is included. Clean your phone's screen well; preferably w/one of those microfiber cloths. Close windows in bathroom, run shower on hot a bit & turn off. Moisture will pull all the dust outta the air and drag it to the floor. Vent heat (u don't want it to be uncomfortable in there).
Now that all the floating dust is negated, clean your screen again w/the the other microfiber cloth and apply protector. It is helpul to have some tape applied to a corner or two of the protector. Utilizing the tape, lift and reapply as needed using the supplied squeegee or a credit card to clear out bubbles; you may need to lift protector and use the microfiber cloth to pick up some lint/debris to ensure a clean install.
You should have a lint- and bubble-free application if you were careful.

I had previously had a Boxwave on my MDA. That has lasted 3 years with no signs of wear, and I was extremely pleased with the fit and feel, so was hoping to do the same for my TP2. I researched all of the competition and read many forum posts on the subject. My main criteria were:
1) quality
2) exact fit
3) feel with finger and stylus
4) longevity
Price was less of a concern as I am hoping I will only ever need just the one for my TP2 (if my previous experience with the MDA is anything to go by), and so the lower priced ones, or the ones that came with 2 or 3 in the pack, were not a strong selling point for me.
The other main one I narrowed it down to was the Bodyguardz, and I probably would have got that if the Boxwave hadn't been coming out soon.
Boxwave advertised pre-orders were available for October 9th shipping. I searched high and low but couldn't google a single coupon code, so ended up paying full price of $12.95 + $2.50 shipping. They shipped a day or so late, and because of the long holiday weekend it arrived a little later than it probably could have, but as far as shipping, packaging, tracking go, I give Boxwave an A-
I had actually been perfectly happy with the screen protector supplied by HTC, but as others have noted, in some cases it may have been a tiny bit too large, causing bubbles along one edge. I think I had put it on pretty perfectly, but then, in my obsessive need for perfection, had pulled it off a little and proceeded to snip away too much screen in an attempt to get it to fit just right, making for an install that now looked a bit messy and with a bit of glass exposed along a jaggedy edge of protector. But the Boxwave fit perfectly, and very easily, just using the instructions on the package (i.e. I just put it on dry, no sprays or water). I did steam up the kitchen a bit first to try to remove dust, and obsessively cleaned the screen for 10 minutes before attempting the install. On my first attempt I started from the short top edge and that caused a problem as the protector was now not aligned correctly down the right side, so I pulled it up and laid it down again from the long left edge, making for a much easier alignment. However, when I had pulled up the protector from the first attempt, I had used the little plastic card to ease up the protector; I think I caused some very minor damage to the protector at the point of contact, as there is now a tiny minor bubble there that is probably caused by a kink I may have made in the plastic. I'll work on smoothing that out, but it's off the screen and very minor (however, let that be a warning to others to be extremely careful if you need to lift the plastic off. I tried using sticky tape but the suction was too strong for it to get a grip, and using something like a pin seemed like potential to damage the screen.) For fit and finish and ease of installation, I give Boxwave an A (and me a B- )
The surface of the 'Crystal' clear screen (I don't know how different the 'anti-glare' version would be) is very slick. In fact looking at it, touching it, sliding my finger across it, and using the stylus on it, seems exactly the same as the actual glass screen on the phone. I went into notepad and made a new note so I could doodle with the stylus. With almost no pressure I could draw lines about 90% of the time, the rest it would skip a little. But with just a tiny amount of pressure, about what you would probably use in normal use, it was at 100% coverage, with practically no drag feeling, just a nice slippery but not too slippery feel. Sliding with my finger is fantastic, I can now scroll through the programs screen much easier than I did with the original HTC. For sensitivity and surface texture I give it an A+
Overall I give Boxwave and the Cleartouch an A+. I am reminded of that old Memorex commercial 'Is it real, or is it Memorex', because looking at the phone right now, I can't tell it has a screen protector, it looks just like glass. I am sure there are others out there as good, although I doubt there are any much better. There are certainly other quality ones that are much cheaper, $15 seems like a crazy price to pay for a piece of plastic. Others come with 2 or 3 protectors, and many have coupon codes you can find on Google. And others, like Bodyguardz, come with a solution for complete protection, not just the screen. Of course time will tell, but based on my A+ experience with Boxwave on my MDA, I really am quite confident of the same longevity and performance on the TP2.

I've used Boxwave screen protectors and accessories for the past several years, and I can honestly say I've been always 100% pleased. I've used both the antiglare and clear protectors, and prefer the clear ones - but it's all a matter or preference, but overall a good purchase.
First, Boxwave screen protectors have always been my standard. I've tried a couple other types (mostly what's been included with devices or what I can find in retail stores) and won't likely be messing around with that again. I personally prefer the "crystal" models over the anti-glare because I didn't like the affect of the anti-glare pattern on the display. It kind of gave it a fuzzy moire pattern. The crystal basically looks like those super glossy laptop screens - looks great in low/medium lighting but could be a problem in certain direct light situations. Still, the trade-off is worth it to me.
Second, does anyone know if any of the existing TP2 protectors will fit the AT&T Tilt 2? The European/UK model looks not ideal because of the front camera hole and the T-mobile version appears to have a slightly different button layout on the bottom. Both the Verizon and Sprint models look right to me on the web page, but Boxwave support just says to submit a request and wait. I would prefer to get a protector on mine ASAP but am reluctant to order if the fit isn't right.

bought one for my Sprint Touch Pro 2, it applied perfectly and not noticeable at all. I prefer it way over the invisibleshield I had on my Vogue which was too rubbery and reflective.
Am I correct to think the Boxwave screen protector for the Sprint TP2, Verizon TP2, and the ATT Tilt 2 are the exact same thing? I have been looking at pictures and the screen shapes look identical. The only different ones are the T-mobile and the front facing camera versions.

I don't see that screen protectors have been discussed recently, so I'm looking for suggestions/experiences for screen only protectors (I'm a flip case kind of gal, so I have no worries about the body).
I'm one of those weirdos who is very careful (and lucky) with cell phones, so I'm looking for something with minimal interference with the screen sensitivity. I'm defecting back after 2 years of using an iPhone without a single scratch on the screen (nor are there any scratches on my 8525 or my Treo or the 8125) in spite of extensive use, and I'm already loving being able to use my fingernails again
I'll greatly appreciate any suggestions/experiences on what's worked well . . . or what hasn't worked. Ease of application is a plus as my 8525 to this day has a tiny bubble I never was able to eliminate . . .

The screen protectors that AT&T sell for the Tilt 2 work really well, are easy to apply, and are a good deal (3 for $10).
I briefly used the AT&T-supplied screen protector. I switched to an eBay full-body protector, but was unhappy with the way it was cut - didn't fit the Tilt2 very well. I replaced that with the BodyGuardz full body protector and it's a much better fit. I recently removed the BodyGuardz screen protector (but still using the body protector) and installed an anti-glare screen protector from Boxwave.
I had no complaints about screen sensitivity with any of them. The original AT&T screen protector and the one from Boxwave feel "slick", are a more rigid plastic and they didn't really adhere to the screen very well around the edges. The ebay one and the BodyGuardz feel a bit "rubbery", adhere better to the screen and any bubbles will work themselves out after a day or so.
I don't really have a preference one over the other - for me it came down to a preference for a less glossy screen.

I can totally appreciate your minor obsession over the "right" screen protector for your device. When I first recieved my TP2, I was using the crappy Rocketfish iPhone screen protectors that I would cut to size. They provided good scratch protection but there was a lot of color separation, meaning they kind of scintillated a red-green pattern over the display which sucked. I then tried the ATT's offering which I didn't like either.
On a whim I bought these from WMExperts Store and have been very happy with them. I cannot post the link as per forum rules, but search their site for "Smartphone Experts Screen Protectors (3-Pack) for AT&T Tilt2"
They do not scratch unlike some of the cheaper Fellows products, nor are they really even noticeable. They are removable, washable, and can be reapplied, which I've successfully done - as long as you're patient in the drying process so as to not get dust stuck to them (air dry), re-application actually works! I did have to cut the sides down a bit as it was just a hair too wide, but that's more of a personal preference. Since they are removable, I've only used one of the three since I got my TP2 in October.
Of course YMMV, but given em a shot and good luck!
I really like my body guardz. thicker and doesnt have a smuge if i touch it like the one that came with the phone.
I would like to install a new shield on my screen but I can't tell if the original is removable and what the recommended method of removal would be if it is.
Clarivue ultra clears are REALLY nice and clear and tough. They come two to a pack. I cought some from a guy on ebay for like $9 shipped. They were real retail clarivues.

If you are referring to the flimsy protective film that ships on the device? It is removable. Otherwise you would need to try and look through the message that is pre-printed on it.
If you mean the protector that is shipped in the box, well that is also removable if you have attached it.
If you mean ANY screen cover, then the answer is still yes. They are all removable.
Use your finger nail, a toothpick, a credit card, or similar device to pry it off of the screen.
Very simple and rudementary.
I've been looking at some reviews including a very lengthy one from a couple of years back on Youtube where he tried about NINE different brands (Including anti-glare or crystal from the same manufacturers) and he tried pretty much most of the known brands including Zagg. He did miss out Martin Fields and a few others though.
I've seen the XO skins are pretty easy to apply wet. Much easier than the Zagg.

I am going to continue looking. But if anyone finds the perfect screen protector let me know. That XO looks easy to apply. But I want anti-glare and anti-reflectin as well as anti-smudge and 0 bubbles (in other words eacy to apply). Protection from scratches is actually pretty low down my list of wants.

I noticed there is a reasonably priced TF1010 anti-glare protector made by Posr.us and has two five star reviews on Amazon. I put on Skinomi on my beloved transformer. yeah it's a wet app, and I'm not yet skilled in it's application yet, but certainly feel much safer with it on than not - even despite the alleged "scratch resisteance of Gorilla Glass"

I put on Skinomi on my beloved transformer. yeah it's a wet app, and I'm not yet skilled in it's application yet, but certainly feel much safer with it on than not - even despite the alleged "scratch resisteance of Gorilla Glass"

Well, scratch resistant =/= scratch proof, so all those people who say Gorilla Glass is the reason why you shouldn't need a screen protector are fooling themselves. I personally have a clearfreak protector on my transformer. It definitely makes me feel more at ease when I use it.
I bought two of the (as far as I can tell) unbranded screen protectors from ElectronicCrap.com. Other than the non-existent directions, I'm quite happy. Not terrible with the fingerprints, reduces the glare, feels and appears quite durable. Price seems a tad steep (given that you can get whole packages of universal ones for like $10) but these fit perfectly edge-to-edge with the cutout for both the light sensor and the camera. It didn't come with directions of any kind but it's a screen protector - it isn't rocket science. I'd say overall it's a keeper.
I picked up a dcmugen antiglare from ebay and I love it. Damp or dry install, the type with the two peel off layers, and repositionable to boot. It ships from Asia, and mine came with a slight crease causing bubbles that cant be flattened. I've requested a replacement, waiting to see if they follow through. So much easy to use indoor and out, and far fewer fingerprints to clean off.

Got a zagg at bestbuy today because I was bored more or less. Installation went well even though the thing stuck to itself. But a few hours later and I'm bubble and wrinkle free nd protected. Now to decide if I want a spg crytal or not....

I bought one as well, but it looked like crap on mine. Hen again im terrible at applying these things. I usually let Verizon put screen protectors on my phone.
Has anyone tried the skin protector from PhantomSkinz? I have their carbon fiber back skin and it looks great and is durable

My experience with Zagg has been mixed with all my devices but their customer support is good. If you get a bad protector(line down middle, or little imperfections) they will send you another.

Following up on my earlier post. Installed the XO skin in my university's clean room(0 dust, yes I wore the cleanroom suit) and it has streaks. The protector quality is very good but once you put it on there are visible streaks all over. I kept the applicator wet so there would not be "burn marks" as specified by the instructions.
Going to ask for a refund... maybe I'll give Zagg another try. My first ZuneHD protector was wonderful but the 2nd one I got had a big line down it(bad QC).

I always have problems applying the screen protectors to any of my devices, so I did some research and decided to go with one made by a company called Aurum. The deciding factor was that it had a large cut out for my camera so its easier to apply. Overall, I am very happy. I got the two pack in case I messed up the first one.

I dont think I will ever buy the wet applicator types again, the dry is just simpler and gives me choices in whether I want a clear or the anti-glare. Hope this helps

I usually get Bodyguardz for all my gadgets (mostly phones). It just feels better than Zagg's invisible shield and other screen protectors.
Anyone tried using Bodyguardz? I'm thinking about getting either the full body protector or just the screen protector. Hmmm this is tough.
Following up... after 24 hours drying/curing it looks much more acceptable. The funny part is there is a tiny black spec under the protector. I don't know how it got there since I was in a cleanroom!

I just got a screen protector from Photodon. Their MXA film is great. It was a bit of work to put it on with no dust and correctly aligned. But once it's on it looks pretty good. It's got a glossy finish, so it looks just like the original screen. You can hardly tell that there is a screen protector on the transformer. It is pricey at almost $20.00 each, ut the screen is still sharp and crystal clear with none of the haze that a lot of cheap screen protectors have.

I used to have Bodyguards for my HTC Touch Pro and it peeled after three months both times that I used them. Now I use Phantom Skinz and I get no orange peel effect and I've had one on my HTC Evo 4G for almost 1 1/2 years with no peeling and no orange peel effect. Smooth as glass and you can't even tell it's on there.
Now I have Phantom Skinz screen protector on my TF and Phantom Skinz Chromatics white carbon skin for the back side. Very nice to say the least.
I would highly recommend a screen protector for the TF because although it has Cornings Gorilla glass, it sux for finger prints and fingerprints are easier to wipe off of a sceen protector than the Gorilla glass.

I got the cover today, went on the first time without airbubbles, but unfortunately I got a a hair stuck under the cover. I got it on right the second time, and I'm really loving tthe cover. Its great for reducing the finger prints and glare. It is very smooth and doesn't have the orange peel texture of a lot of other screen protectors, I wouldn't mind getting one for my Droid Charge.
I got mine last night. Brought it to work this morning and slapped it on.
All I can say is I hate air bubbles and this went on the first time without issue.
It is smooth, cut down on the glare, fingerprints less noticeable, and it looks fantastic...
I am absolutely impressed by this. I may have to find out how to get a spare.

Recieved mine this morning. The install went smoothly, very few air bubbles that were easy to work out. The tip for removing dirt/hair trapped under the cover was great. Cover does really reduce glare and fingerprints nicely. I like the texture of the cover, it is not as smooth as the TF glass, just right to let fingers glide without grabbing.
All in all I would buy this cover.

Just received mine today, install was easy and air bubble was easier to get out compare to what i have used before. Pretty good cover i'd say.
Just got mine as well today, install went reasonably smooth. There are a couple imperfections, but those were my fault and not the products fault. It definitely reduces the glare, and I don't notice fingerprints at all. The camera hole lines up perfect and doesn't affect it at all. Definitely one of the better screen protectors out there. The tip for getting rid of dust worked great.
I will try and get a better picture later; camera didn't want to auto focus properly.

Just got mine. Went on as easy as any screen protector I have tried. No problem with bubbles, reduces prints and glare, also the fit is spot on, only negative comments would have to be that it's not as smooth as glass. I would recommend this product.
Got mine today. Slapped it on, luckily no hair\dust. Minor bubbles which im slowly seeing go away. Glare is minimal as well as the fingerprints. By far much better than the one i received with my case from amazon. Putting an affordable price on it should make you and lots of users happy. Id buy another if need be. Thanks

Received my Screen protector this morning in the mail and was dissapointed to see that customs or the mailman (not sure who was to blame) had decided to fold the package in half.
Despite the crease i still managed to get it to flatten out enough to be useable so I proceeded to line up the edges and found it to be a perfect fit, nice!
The finish on the screen protector adds a matte effect to the display helping to reduce glare in a sunny/brightly lighted environment, welcomed as another added bonus no doubt. The smooth surfaced finish also seems to attract significantly less fingerprints and makes the scrolling and swiping flow better.
In summary i am more than pleased with the build quality and perfect fit of cheinb's asus transformer custom screen protector, now to see how it will stand the test of time and close encounters with my monsters i mean children.

I received mine at the beginning of the week, and had absolutely zero problems installing it. I've installed many screen protectors in the past, and this had to be the easiest one I've ever done. The instructions were simple, and I had barely any bubbles that were slowly dissipating.
The feel of the screen protector is great, just the right amount of slide and it really cuts down on the glare.
All in all, one of the better screen protectors I've used, in all categories (Installation, protection, glare reduction, surface feel).
The TF is uses corning gorilla glass, really no need for screen protectors, unless you plan on throwing your devices around. Check youtube for gorilla glass reviews.

I got mine yesterday and also applied it yesterda.
The protector is quite thick and sturdy. There was a small paper with sintructions as well.By design it allows for less air bubbles and I have only a few minor ones on the sides because of my in experience.
It has reduced the glare and made the screen less slippery. Fairly thick and I am sure it will last for a long time. The adhesive is also pretty strong. Would have been even greater with a slight blackish tint.
In short I recommend it.

Received mine the other day, and have had a few days to use the protector.
The following is my opinion. Screen protectors aren't for everyone, but personally I'd rather make a $20 'oops' than have to live with scratches. I don't see the harm in a protector, and in my experience they reduce fingerprints and glare like mad... so, do what you want.
Anyway, here's what I think of this protector:
Installation:
Handy set of instructions. Protector went on without any problems. I used a credit card as suggested to get rid of the air bubbles, which worked out very very well. This installation method is much much easier (and safer?) than Zagg, and similar to other adhesive-type protectors.
Fit:
The protector is cut slightly smaller than the size of the glass. My alignment was spot on, so I don't have any air bubbles around the edges, but there is probably a 1mm (or less) gap around the outside of the protector, which in my opinion is the perfect fit. The cutout for the front camera also is perfect.
Feel:
The protector offers minor friction for fingers. Initially my hands were very clean from the application process, and therefore were not leaving any finger prints. I have since used the TF for a few days, and even let a baby with greasy hands play with it, and the fingerprints/smudges were a minimum. In summary: the protector feels VERY GOOD and appears to cut down fingerprints like crazy. For me, this protector is better than just the glass, and much much better than the protector I had before (I had some 3 for $10 ebay style protector.. it was garbage). This protector is on par with Zagg protectors and their lack of fingerprints (for those who have used them).
Look:
Its hard to tell that there's even a protector on except for a few pieces of dust. Glare is reduced, colors don't seem to be affected. The protector I had before this one was much worse for letting the true colors through. Everything was faded and coarsened (dunno how to best describe that, but it looked bad). All in all, this one looks as good as no protector, with added benefit of reduced glare and minimal fingerprints.
Overall:
Most of my protector experience is with Zagg protectors; on a Nook Color, galaxy s and iPhone. I didn't want to have to fight with putting a Zagg on for a screen the size of the TF, so I have been looking for alternatives. If this protector is competitively priced then imo its one of the better ones for the TF. I once tried a skinomi for a G-tablet, and that thing was a complete waste of money.
Pending price, would get another one of these.

Ok I've finally received mine. Unfortunately the the package must have gotten folded during transit and it now has creases. I'll make do and will post a tutorial next upcoming weekend. Hopefully the crease is not permanent.
Just got my first screen scratch on my new Rezound yesterday and have been kicking myself ever since. I've used screen protectors in the past on my tablets, but I personally didn't like the way they felt. They felt plasticky and cheap, whereas the glass screens were so smooth and premium-feeling.
My question to you, the Internet, is about screen protectors. Which one do you like most? Which one feels most like glass/is least noticeable/etc.?
(I searched, but most of the recommended ones in other threads are not produced for the Rezound yet.)
I havent found any legit ones on ebay yet. I like the rubbery film protectors not the hard plastic ones. My favorite for the Inc1 and 2 was the NakedShield. Those were awesome. Couldnt even tell there was anything on it.
I bought one from ebay by "xtreme guard" and it was awful. Pretty good materials but terrible shipping. I got several replacements from him because he ships them alone in an envelope and they come stuck to the side and rip when taken out. I told him several times and attempted to send him pictures of me opening the envelope and seeing the destroyed product but he didnt care
I have one from verizon that I got when I purchased the phone and it's ok, but I have used the seidio ultimate screen guard on every phone I've had since the Evo 4g on Sprint and I really like the feel of them. It's really clear, goes on easy and doesn't feel sticky. I would recommend them.

It's crystal clear.
Smooth but not plastic feel.
Some people talk about orange peel effect, for me I only see it if I hold the phone at extreme angle. I never see it or feel it in actual use.
The Ghost Armor seems to be more finger oil resistant than nakedd or the plastic static screen protectors.
And with Ghost's you get life time replacements for your device.
They also have kiosk in malls, where they do installs and replacements.

I've been using (and loving) Skinomi. Yeah, with that name it sounds like it should be sold in a sex shop, but it's a fantastic screen protector. It feels like the bare glass, is crystal clear, and can be put on easily.
You know, now that I think about it, maybe it SHOULD be sold in a sex shop...

Well that's one way to look at it. My previous phone I put the full body Ghost armor on myself, went like 9 months, no case, then it started to peel around the edges got it re-skinned for 5 and it lasted another 18 months until I got this phone.
I tried those static protectors and I just don't like the feel, and they get smudges galore.
E-bay may have something just as good or better but I don't know what it is, and don't have the time to waste buying from a bunch of different places. There's probably a thousand choices on eBay, but I have no clue which is good or if they are even consistent with what they sell. They may be getting screen protectors from several manufacturers.
I'm not certain, but I thought the 5 buck replacement is only if you have it re-installed at a kiosk?
I picked up the clear Halo ones off of Amazon, and am really happy. Don't like the rubbery Zagg ones, and don't like the anti-glare ones as they seem to mess with the clearness of the screen.
I bought the clear Verizon ones when I picked up the phone, and while they are clear, they scratch very easily.
I've had the Halo ones for about a week. They are just as clear, and haven't scratched yet. They fit better than the Verizon, a bit wider so they cover edge to edge, but not quite tall enough. (When you install them, start at the top)

Just got a second one from "Clear Freak" on ebay. He sent me one for the wrong phone. So I'm having no luck with eBay protectors. I trimmed it to fit but wouldnt advise it. I do tint all day so it came pretty easy to me

Not a good idea. Had several people call in with water damage on their phones and I had to tell em tough luck. Doesn't matter if it actually has water damage just if the external or internal sticker turns pink

I just got in my Boxwave Crystal Clear today and it fits over the entire glass top to bottom with a cutout for the front facing camera. I had one on my Dinc for 2 years and it was great--got very view scratches--and I like the feel on the screen. They are expensive but can be removed, cleaned, and replaced.

I've had these for about a month, and they're the best. It still feels like you just have the glass on it still, and it really does cover every part of the glass area. You honestly forget there's anything on it.

I love my ZAGG protector. They're difficult to put on, but it's worth it. Had one for the DInc and it lasted the entire two years until my upgrade, and is still currently on there! I don't get the rubbery feel that others mentioned, mine is smooth as a baby's bottom.

Press your fingernail into the black area above or below the screen. You will see it is not hard like the bare glass. That small bit of give is what is being described. The static screen protectors don't have that.

I agree, REALOOK Screen Protectors are good quality. It covers the entire face, with anti-glare and anti-fingerprint qualities...
