thats not to far off from the madness build 21014.1.6.0 that was running around here.
not sure much porting will be required....might not be as much effort as the first attempt with the 21014.1.6.0 build.

they DFT have that core WM6.5
I really wouldn't doubt the DFT. They are the first to put out a lot of stuff in my experiences.

I think it is a quite valid question. I see no reason why youd get flamed. My guess is if you got a complete match against 21014 that it is most likely not a valid build number. However MS may have just threw in the stuff for the IE and UI then changed the build to put out a quick beta test on the UI and IE. Im sure time will tell. Thanks for the the thoughts

i'm sure i'll get flamed for this, but i have to tell you guys somehow. i work for a *ahem* company that we all know, and this is an interim build that was dogfood for the team awhile ago. it is not full 6.5. the company knows that they are losing the smartphone battle and like many have suggested, 6.5 will have relatively full touch-y UI to appeal to the masses while they work on 7. the UI is along the same lines as the engadget screens. there's more to the update than just the UI and IE8.
7 is a full on new OS, but 6.5 will be a decent upgrade for us. there are builds of 7 btw, but they are so alpha they are of no use to us... on the other hand, the devices they are using to dogfood are currently available, so it's probable that we'll be able to port it. about q3/q4 we'll see early builds of 7.
i hope this was vague enough to not offend the company, and i'm sorry that i cannot say anymore...
Enough conjecture, can someone post a rapidshare or other link that doesn't go 2k/s so I can port this sucker to our Raphael and we can give it a go
it's annoying how these xbeta and chinese beta sites can't actually provide us with the RAW beta!! we get mixed hex'd builds.. (sigh)

The link I used this morning seems to be gone. All the pages linked in that forum are in chinese or something. Ive edited my post since i now cant seem to get it. Ill try to google translate the other pages and see what I can come up with.

I used Swampy395Decompiler to dump the nbf but it dumped to a 18.9 meg dump that won't build to a sys or oem.
however no overlap errors during dump process which usually means we might be ok.

Is that server located in the USA? I'm guessing by your location...
I have a server in the UK that can also be used if desired. It's only 4GB in storage, but I doubt custom ROM's would take up that much space.

The server is in Toronto, the speed may not be the best for all my european friends here but i doubt it's going to be horrible.
The fact i got unlimited space and bw will give them the opportunity to even make a webpage if they want, forums for bugs and stuff.. the're own little portal if they want.

EDIT, and BTW, for the poster above me, I will be likely looking to host some mods for villainROM such as (hopefully) JIT for a stock build etc. and maybe some themes requested by users. The end idea to make a 'mini-kitchen' to store the mini update.zips, then folks can come along and help themselves to some ingredients for their ROM.
At some point, if anyone with scripting experience wanted to come onboard, we could look at making a kitchen, although I guess that would put significant load on the server, which would not really be fair on kriEv... So maybe best to just stick to a DIY kitchen unless anyone has any ideas for the 'drive-through'

Due to repeated kanging from other Roms as well as needing CST paid version to obtain the latest version of the Rom, anything related to the CoreDroid team is not allowed to be posted anymore on XDA and is from now on considered warez.
This includes: Signatures, links, themes, as well as any work developed by the CD team or included in any Rom.
TL;dr: If you included anything from CD in your work, you have to remove it.

Screens will be up soon.
What's not working properly will be posted soon before is released and all tested have been made up till now only led lights are not working 100%.

Thanks yes is all going well on Windows builds are planing on a release soon also just giving some final touches on it. Trying to get it very frendly with Android so switch between systems be easyer.

What I need help with now is to make these metroblock-widgets.
Some of those widgets are actually just for show -without any function, at least thats what I think.
This is what i've planned on doing so far:
- Complete the wallpaper.
- Mod the google search bar widget.
- Minor adjustment to the framework on a CM7 based theme.
- Mod the android music widget into a matching theme.
- Chose a font.
I dont mind sharing these tasks.
If I see lack of interest/help, I will probably just finish this for my personal use since its nothing major.

id love to help but have next to no experience in developing or porting at all im just an end-user so all i can really offer is my skills as a tester and report any bugs i find once built but it looks very interesting

The phone wont be out until June (i think) so we wont have anything to port, all we can do a the moment is to create a look-alike. Im assuming that the phone is simply running android with a theme, nothing else. And there isnt much info about the software from the articles that ive read. Maybe on their homepage, but it's in japanese.

yeah you can make a simple theme.. even then, you dont know how the menus/dialer looks so you can probably mod an available theme

For the US guys, i am sure that with the device in hand he can try to do something for you too, but again that's not a promise.
For those who are not very familiar with his work please check out his profile/ open threads and the Virtuous Team website.
As you can see his work is nothing short then remarkable and i for one i am very happy that he is interested in developing for this device.
We tried and succeeded to make a rom, as you can see in the thread a high quality one with no discovered issues. It's very hard to continue with this and blind deving so i would like to try to get a device for him.
If we succeed here's what you need to know :
- this doesn't mean that @chrisch1974 will support this device to life
- this doesn't mean that the developer will port all new android/sense versions for it
- this doesn't mean that there will be daily updates
- you can imagine the rest as there are common sense things, you can see this as a token of appreciations for his work.
Here's how things will work:
- if you are interested, and please post only in this situation, write a post with the amount you are willing to pledge
- when we will reach the amount needed which is 730 USD i will put the PayPal account in the first post.
- at that moment i will ask everyone that pledged to keep his word and send the money.
- after that i am sure things will go smoother .
I will update this thread daily with the current pledgers and the amount that is currently uncovered.

Thanks a lot Andrei for all your efforts. As my main tester you know that it's not always easy to push the development when you have/must wait for the other one. I really appreciate what you're doing for improving the rom. At the moment it seems that the user base for the One Max is still very low. I hope this will improve in the future
