can someone pls tell me if there is any cooked ROM for Atom Life?
Cheers,
imatrix
I would like to know too....
Seems like not much development for Atom life... So sad, I just replaced my 838pro with an Atom Life.
Is there any need yet ??
I am happy with the life offical rom from O2 ATM

I used the later build wm6 on BA, and i can tell ya it perform better on a slower device like BA compare to our Atom life.
The performance of the device is really good atm, but a cooked rom without all the o2 stuff and maybe with some extras would be great.
I've had a XDA Neo with an WM6 rom (touchflo ect.) and that was like a brand new phone compared with the official rom.
I don't really know how to make this and honestly I'm afraid to do something wrong. I prefer trusting the experienced rom-cookers here
Hi guys I saw Jiggs and Chartreux's WM6 AKU 0.7 ROM update and I am wondering what are the benefits/disadvantages to upgrading to this ROM?
I have an Exec so I will be using Chartreux's if ever. I currently have the most recent O2 Official ROM.
I am trying to find a change list but I can't seem to find one. From browsing the forum this is what I have gathered:
Pros:
2x Faster Booting Time
Better battery life?
Faster and more Stable
Cons:
A2DP doesn't work (bummer!)
Could you guys give me your experience with the new ROM and a general idea of what improvements were made? (including benefits you get from upgrading to WM6 over WM5 -- I honestly am not sure what the benefits are)
The most pressing thing for me is stability and battery life, can I expect a boost in those areas? If not I will just wait for the ROM to be more finalized before I upgrade.
Thanks
Hi everybody,
I'm searching for a WM 6 ROM with a very low battery consumption. Nowadays, My S200 has SpeedKing ROM, but I think it drains a lot of battery (I have to recharge it every day).
Does anyone knows a stable-low consumption ROM?
One more thing... It is possible to upgrade the ROM using Windows Vista or Ubuntu Linux? I already don't have XP in any of my computers
Thanks!

GO TRY 1d ORIGINAL or Diamond roms from VaranusVincent..
I'll try it.
Thank you very much
i'd suggest micro v3.3 as wm6 by inteks(or smt like that ) and my bubbles 2 as wm6.1 by varanusvincent
I have flashed below ROM
Manilla 2D PV edition by hoangan123 (+ 4mb pp version[26mb ram+m2d])
Prophet ROM diamond pro v1.2 CE OS 5.2.19971 (Build 19971.1.2.6 H.AN)

I think it give a good battery life with this rom.
3 Hours with 1 percent reduce when in standby mode.

you can install a cracked XP! search with google or baidu!
The fantastic HD2 came out with Manilla 2.5 (HTC sense). Anyway for porting this over to the atom life?
I hope this is possible, even though I understand that the HD2 has a far far better processor that can handle the load compared the atom. There seem to plenty of 6.5 ROMS - any manilla 2.5 or even 2.0 ROMS?
Well, the Atom lacks good 3D support. So in the end it's not possible to have Manila 2.0/2.5 on our Atom. Next point is that the Atom has only 64MB of RAM - this is definitly too low to run manila smoothly. And it looks so that no one is even interested in porting Manila 2.5 to QVGA.

There is a manila 2d.cab just for atom life, cooked and tested on my atomlife for 1month now, still in good shape.
checkout the some links here at XDA, i forgot where i got it from. If you still need it, PM me [email protected]
Good luck.
I was wondering if the hermes 100 or att 8525 can handle 6.5
It works... It just can be buggy at times and 6.5 is a memory hog. Just keep on trying other cooked 6.5 roms till you find something you like. Try out CRC's 13.5 WM6.1 stable. I always go back from 6.5 to that because its super fast and very stable Cook.
Thanks, yeah cause I was using a rom of 6.5 and i noticed my battery died pretty quick and some lag.
The Hermes is going to struggle to run 6.5 properly as you will soon find it running out of memory.
Try a few but I recommend Dark Visions as he tries to get as much memory free. I find his v5 a little glitchy but he next version should be good.
If you are sticking with 6.1 then CRC's stable is good but I still prefer Pays87 6.1 lite.
