incoming call unknown contact

My wp7 are connected to exchange and all contact are synced without any problems I can find contact via people and call to but if I receiving call event from callers with already in my address book i get "unknown contact" msg, why so? I can’t found any setting with can bring caller info name from people. Please help.
Because they hide their number?
i see phone number but no name
No one use exchange and have this problem?
no exchange and sometimes it recognizes the number sometimes not
it's because of the country (f.e +44 or 0044) phone codes before the phone number. I have the same problem!
The incomming calls are without the codes. If you have stored the contact with the country code, the phone won't recognize it. Strange thing for a phone made in 2010. Next thing is that the incomming SMS have the country codes! I solved it the following way:
1) I sync my Mozart with hotmail;
2) I installed outlook connector and added the hotmail account to my outlook.
3) Exported the contacts to excell file
4) Copied all phone numbers to another phone number column (fe.Home_Phone) and removed all country codes from the phone numbers in that column. As result I have two phone numbers for each contact - one with country code (to recognize incomming SMS) and one without country code (to recognize incoming calls);
5) Imported the excell file back to the hotmail contacts in outlook by "replacing items with imported", pressed "rend/receive" to sync with hotmail - done.
I hope you got my idea and sorry for my broken english!

[Q] Call log doesn't show contact names...

I've bought phone few days ago. I've used it for some time without SIM card. In that time I've changed memory card, imported contact list from google, sync with facebook and tweeter...
Now, I've moved SIM from old phone to P500 and make/receive some calls and exchange few SMS. While I can see names in messaging application for both(sent and received SMS) in call log I see only phone numbers (even for outgoing calls from my favorite contact list). Any idea?
Phone info:
Andorid: 2.2
Kernel: 2.6.32.9
Build: FRF91
Software: V10a-SEP-25-2010
I can not say I've solved the problem but I can see names in call log now...
All phone numbers in old phone were entered with country prefix (+XXXXXXXXXXX) and they were exported like that to google contacts. After import they remain the same in new phone and I can use them to make a call.
After removing country prefix call logs showed contact name. Also, for some contacts I've just remove + sign and put it back and call log show names for that entries too.
My solution:
I copy all contacts from gmail tu phone PC Sync contacts , p500 automatic marge contacts (not displaying double) and I see names in log.

[Q] How to remove this annoying popup

I have nexus s with stock android 4.0. when i make a call, i always get a popup where i have to choose mobil or internet calling. se picture below. how can i remove this ??
set it to default .....
what and where can i set to default ?
IF you can select a default action it will be in settings (don't know exactly where) but if this bother you try deleting the internet calling service? This can simply be removed from the settings menu.
hope this helps a bit.
I'm not sure if that popup was asking you to choose a particular internet calling account or if it was asking if you want to dial over the phone network/with internet dialing. I'll try to explain both though...
The default way to call should be under the settings for the phone app, under the Internet Calling section (near the bottom). There you can control whether the phone asks you if you want to do internet dialing or not.
As for making it automatically choose a certain Internet Dialing account, see if checking Set As Primary Account under the Internet Calling/Account part of the Phone Settings does anything to improve things.
If it doesn't work to your liking, I strongly recommend abandoning the built in SIP support and using cSipSimple. With cSipSimple, you can set filters that trigger when a dialed number matches a certain pattern. For example, you could have Internet Dialing with Sip-Provider-1 kick in automatically if you dial a number with a long distance area code.
If you decide to go this route and need a hand, let me know.

problem with contact manager

hi all.
I'm writing From Italy and I have a Star B63M with original ROM (with default contact manager by Android 2.3.5)
Using a business simcard (sim n°2) for personal calls I have to prefix 4146 on personal contacts (NOT at all contacts stored), but in order to have the name of the contact displayed when I receive the call I have to store 2 times the same phone number (one with the 4146 prefixed and one not)
eg.
Carlo Rossi
Mobile 333348956
home 0116659988
Home2 41460116659988
But when I select Carlo Rossi to make a call It show only
Mobile 333348956
Home2 0116659988
in substance: disappears "home" and to "Home2" shows the number stored in the "home" so can’t dial the number stored with 4146 prefix!
It considers "home" and "Home2" as duplication and goes haywire.
Alternatively there is a contact manager that doesn’t have this bug (which manages 2 sim)?
Other possible solutions to the problem?
thanks so much

[Q] Number display format, how do I change it?

Basically, I am used to the number being displayed as XXXXXXXX on my old phones instead of XXX XXX XXXX(sgs2) i.e it has spaces, is it at all possible to tune the way it's displayed?
Also, as a side question. No idea what I've done, but every time I receive an SMS, the number is being read out loud by the phone. I want to disable this, I have no idea how it was even enabled in the first place. I have not installed any programs related to SMS and so forth.
To disable the voice goto settings>accesability and turn off talk back
