this has probably been asked a whole lot but which perma-temp-root is the best.....my phone just died so i dont mind changing it up lol
well, they all do the same thing when it comes the the perm-temp root.
What do you want? Do you want overclock? do you want bloat removed? do you want both. Its all in the titles of the different methods.
Its not like different roms where there is a big difference.

Flash a file without booting into recovery

I need to flash a file that locks the bootloader. It contains Aroma Installer. Is there a way to flash it without booting into recovery? Something linke an app that flashes the file directly from the phone?

I would use the ADB commands to boot into recovery. Also might want to look into logcats to see what the issue is.

Stuck at "Obtaining IP address"

When I connect to our network in the office, I always get stuck here. I easily connect when I'm at home. I'm running 5.1.
From what I have in another thread, I need to delete dhcp_list and dhcpcd-eth0.lease. I also understand I need root access; I do not want to root my phone yet, as it is still under warranty.
Is there another way to fix this? Thanks.

Will give your suggestion a whirl.
Seems I can't run adb commands. I'm assuming because the phone is not rooted.
Anything else I can try?

root?

Is there any work being done on a root method? Since there is no port, what could be done? Possibly a kingoroot wear app?

Is there some secure root method for Neffos X1 Lite?

Hello,
I am for the last days trying to root the Neffos X1 Lite no success. None of the main rooting tools worked, such Kingroot, Kingoroot, Root Genius, etc.
The rooted boot image that I've downloaded from the web left the device in a bootloop with glitchs on the screen, then I've restored the stock boot imagem.
Also no CF-Autoroot zip yet.
Any ideas?

Hello, but I don't know how to do that...Could I install SuperSU through stock recovery/"update from SD Card"? I think this action will be aborted by de recovery, right?
Or maybe through the adb sideload?
Thanks.

Try using the stock recovery, there's no harm in giving it a try.
As to adb sideload, I never used it, therefore I have no idea about it.

Hello, I've tried with the stock recovery/update from sd card, and as I expected the action was aborted.
Does not have the adb sideload option.
Then, no more options, at first sight.
About porting a twrp build, I was looking at a program called "Twrp Porter", but is also resulting in some errors.
Any other ideas?
Thanks.

I was wondering if the bootloader is in fact unlocked, because just appeared a message so fast that I even could read, but I believe yes 'cause the option in Developer Options is unavaliable.
I want to root my device, but this one is beeing very hard. If you know someone with capability in doing that, I would appreciate it very much.
Thanks for your help and yout attention.

I don't think disappearance of Developer Options means you are unlocked.
Use fastboot to check status of your bootloader.
You can do this using this command:
fastboot getvar all

No, I have tried numerous times but all the attempts have failed.
Btw, you can also go for cwm.
You will find a guide for both on the forum.
And you will need a linux pc
You can also use recovery builder on builder.clockworkmod.com
