Oh alright, this will get my mms to work correctly now I hope.
Sent from my ________.
i flashed the virtuous rom its working fine, i had to enter some APN info (rogers 4g gsm evo 3d) not sure if it was the right one, but the data is working, the sms timing is off by a few hours, and i can not send or receive mms. Any help would be great, thanks!
well i restored to original after this problem annoying me too much and everything is working fine now
fix
i had the same problem with the custom roms.
to fix the time stamp issue you either have to go back to the stock rom or download a time stamp fixer from the market.
as for not being able to send or receive mms check out the forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1208485

the ruu roms are stock roms for the evo 3d. if you use a RUU that isn't rogers then you would probably have to enter apn settings again if it even works.
there is a Rogers RUU in the EVO 3D GSM Development forums.
but if you are using the virtuous rom then just download the sms time stamp fixer from the market and set it up
then input the settings in my previous post for your apn settings. if they dont work then you have other problems.
I am trying to collect all the APN settings so I can link it to my FAQ thread. I have T-Mobile, AT&T and Simple Mobile. PM me the APNs and I will add it to this thread.

My mms wasn't working but fixed now. I might as well post this.
The only way I've gotten mms to work on T-Mobile is by leaving the proxy and port sections blank.

Not sure if this really matters, but in the stock GB ROM for Canada Telus HTC Amaze 4G, there were 3 different APN's set up for different types. Here's screenshots since I've re-added them in Android Revolution ROM after installing it (from camera reference so I know all is correct).
They were in this order too, with APN Type * being selected. With only that type added, I had data and text messaging, but MMS pictures would not send until I added the second one in. Don't think I'll ever use DUN with it, but I added it just in case it's used for something I'm unaware of... and yes that one is "ISP.telus.com" not just SP like the other two.
* Doh I can't yet post pictures - I can PM you the URL's to my Photobucket account if you like?
* I've spaced out the h t t p : // because I can't post links, and it was denying me access to the actual text
* also in the first APN don't confused type * with Not set.. it actually is an asterisk

I don't know what the deal is but ever since I got my Amaze the old T-Mobile US APN does not work, it worked just fine on my G2. As soon as I select it I can't get crap for a data signal, then I switch back to the T-Mobile data APN and all is well.
I think it may be because of the new SIM card I had to get for the Amaze, but I could be wrong.
Anyone knows the APN for Movistar ?
I have tried 2 different carriers and still not sending MMS only receiving..
Anyone having issues with mms stock Rom
Thanks for the Wind APNs!

Everything is working great on my phone except mms.
I have the proper APn settings.

So is this a problem with the MMS app?
Any info would be great.:good:
