hello friend, Raj here.
I have been using the X10i since past 6 months. I bought the phone my UAE & i am presently using it in India.
1) Is there any firmware upgrade available for my phone?
My phone info says-
Model - X10i
Firmware - 1.6
Baseband version - 1.0.14
Build number - R1FA014
2) My phone does not have the Android market application inbuilt in it! how & from where do i download that app?
3) How do i install applications downloaded to my computer from Android market, to my phone?
4) I am not able to access Calender since it requires me to log in to my Gmail account. everytime i try to do that, it says "error, try next time"! is there any way i can start the calender without registering?
Thanks.

Hi.
Yes there is, considering a lot of us are running R2BA026, that should give you an idea of how far behind you are.

Personally, I would debrand and update your handset with UK generic FW, which will give you the Market app, which will answer question 3, and as you need to register for the Market to use it, that also answers your 4th question.
1) Install SEUS (Sony Ericsson Update Service).
You can get it from here: http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/download/1/110/61/1275980198/Update_Service_Setup-2.10.6.21.exe
2) Run SEUS, follow the prompts. You don't need to update the phone through it, but get the phone ready for updating. This process should install the drivers necessary for the rooting process.
Note: I suggest you keep your USB cable attached to that USB port. Remember which USB port of your computer it's attached to, as changing USB ports can lead to a bit of confusion for the next 2 steps!
3) To check if #2 was successful, click on Start, click Run, and type: regedit
In the Registry Editor that pops up, click on Computer, press CTRL+F, and search for this: USB\Vid_0fce&Pid_adde\
After it's finished finding, on the right side you'll see DeviceInstance, then it says REG_SZ, then it says something like USB\Vid_0fce&Pid_adde\5&270d2a78&0&3
You'll need that last bit (in this example: 5&270d2a78&0&3 Yours would probably be different). This is your DeviceID (you'll need it soon!)
Note: You may have multiple of these if you plugged the USB cord into many USB ports on your computer. Each USB port will give a different DeviceID, so if you have more than one DeviceID, you'll have to choose one, and if it doesn't work (you'll find out when you reach #5!) you will have to choose another one.
Alternatively, download the file in the next step and extract it, go to the folder called 1st, and run the DeviceID.jar file. It should give your DeviceID
4) Download this:
http://filevo.com/1nlq8wryo11u.html
or from here: http://rapidshare.com/files/404363083/i_R1FA16_ft.rar.html
Extract it.
In the step1 folder, you'll see a file called DeviceID.txt
Open it up, delete whatever's there, and put YOUR DeviceID (that you found from the previous step).
Save the file and close notepad.
Note: Make sure there are no extra spaces or lines after/before the DeviceID. The ONLY thing that should be in the file is your DeviceID, NO SPACES/LINES (for example, only this: 5&270d2a78&0&3 [yours will probably be different])
5) Take out the USB cable from your phone (leave it plugged into your computer)
Turn your phone OFF
Open up step1.cmd (it's not inside the step1 folder, but outside it), but DON'T PRESS ANYTHING
Now we have to put the phone into flash mode. This is how you do it:
Hold the Back button on your phone, and while holding the back button, insert the USB cable into the phone.
A green light should come on the phone (like when it's charging or a missed call)
Quickly "Press any key to continue..." in the open step1.cmd window.
Let it finish what it's doing. It will say "Press any key to continue..." after it's finished. Until then, DON'T touch anything!
If you get problems in this step, refer to this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=6970868&postcount=3
Here's a helpful video for common java issue: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=713457
After completion, this will give you a Generic X10i R1FA016 firmware (check it by pressing the left button, go to settings>about phone and at the very bottom under build number)

Follow those steps and when you've completed them run SEUS which should update you to R2BA026, and give you the Market app. If you run in to any issues read the links provided as the chances are it will be user error if you do.
Thanks a lot buddy.
Will de-branding my phone affect future upgrades to Android 2.1 in any way?
Also, why is de-branding necessary to access calender???

It isn't, but if want to use the Market you are going to need a gmail account.
I tried using SEUS but failed at step 2 itself!
It says press back button while inserting USB cable in phone & keep pressing back button. i did the same & waited & waited for 5 minutes, but no response!
then my finger started hurting & i had to abort the process! does it take so long?

You're not doing it right, should take about 5 seconds for seus to recognise the phone. Try again.
Sorry for the back-to-back posts, but can i update my phone country to India instead of UK? i think Indian X10s do get Android Market. Since i am using the phone here in India & in future would like to get this serviced in india itself, i would prefer my phone to show India in country!
It honestly doesn't matter. I'm in Canada but I'm using a Latin American firmware. But yes, to get it serviced I guess you need it. How about asking someone with the Indian firmware to dump it for you?
That is precisely the reason i am looking for the indian version instead of UK.
None of my friends have a X10 & strangely, even google dint yield any satisfactory results.
I will opt for the UK update only if Indian update is not available.
Also, i am still not able to open the calender using my gmail account. evertime it says "error! try again later" !!!

so did you manage to update to a newer firmware yet? you said a while back that "holding the back button" did not work. You need to have the phone off before you do this step.
1. turn phone off
2. connect usb cable to phone, but not to pc.
3. open SEUS and get to the stage that it says waiting for phone connect.
4. press and hold the back button (which will power your phone on in flash mode) and connect the USB cable to pc.
SEUS should now say "stop pressing back button" or something to that effect.

Guys, i managed to install Astro File Manager over the air! i did install a few apps to my comp & then to my phone using AFM but not all apps are available to install on the comp! thats the reason i needed Android Market on my phone.
Also, i dont understand why i cant register to google through my phone as i have to use the phone calender.
Guys, it re-installed SEUS & it detected my phone but i again failed! i am dumb!!!

Can you clarify, did you get into flash mode for it to install the drivers?
I re-installed SEUS. then I started SEUS, switched off my phone for 30 secs, connected USB cable to computer, then connected USB cable to phone while pressing the back button & kept pressing the back button until the phone got switched ON.
then SEUS asked me to open Notification bar & turn ON USB. i left the back button & did the same. then the screen showed "X10i connected" & your phone is up to date!
then i tried whatever you had mentioned but it was of no use as mentioned in my post above.
Also, SEUS detects my phone only 1 out of 5 times. the remaining times, it takes soooooo long that i have to abort the process & SEUS hangs!
Also, i have noticed that in my SEUS, in the phone models where you have to select your phone, there are two options, both which look like an X10 with names "X10" & "SO-01B". which one should i select? i tried with X10 but failed. then i tried with SO-01B & it dint detect.
You problem is that seus is not detecting your device..
Soln... User a laptop with win xp or vista or 7 32 bit...
Do a complete uninstall of seus. Clean the registry of any seus entries..
Reinstall seus..
Use a different usb port.
Now try..
The device is an x10 unless you your it from japan which if the case is then it is the so-o1.
If you want dump of indian firmware I can help you but I dont think a dump will be of much use to
You..

yes, i would like to have the Indian firmware as that would make servicing my phones in India easier!
Can you tell me the disadvantages of having the Indian firmware when compared to the UK one?
I read that even Indian firmware has Android market & even India is getting a upgrade to Android 2.1 along with UK.
I tried using SEUS with different USB port & my phone was detected but again i found no DEVICE ID! the same thing happened which i have written in Post #14.
Is there any other method to find DEVICE ID? i even tried this-

SEUS doesn't ask you to do that, PC Companion does though. I've never known anyone have such problems getting SEUS to run.
My Xperia X10 is currently not working (see previous thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=993785) and I still haven't been able to fix it.
I'm trying to use Flashtool to flash the generic X10 Firmware to my phone although
it's taking up to 4+ hours and then my phone battery dies and the flash is unsuccessful.
Why is Flashtool taking so long to flash a firmware to my X10? I've tried a few different computers and still the same problem.
Please Help. Thank you.

I cannot access my phone as of now, it's pretty much a brick. Holding the on button brings only a vibrate and thats it.
what about flashing a rom that you know worked on your phone, making sure you flash the right Baseband for that particular rom first.
EDIT: Sorry just read through you posts and you have probably tried this if you have flashed a rom to it!

not assuming you're silly. but you are making sure you have your finger firmly on the back button when you plug in the phone when flashing yeah? the simplest are often the ones that get you.

Read previous thread in original post.
The phone has crashed for some reason whilst using the FreeX10 Beta4 Rom and I cannot access the phone. It charges fine although I cannot turn on/access my phone.
not sure why the flash is taking so long. attempt to flash a different firmware possibly? Also do you have the latest flashtool?
Impossible to brick so you're not out of luck yet. Try flashing with latest flashtool 2.9.1
I'll attempt now with the Flashtool 2.9.1 beta. It's a shame that as soon as they unlock the bootloader my X10 decides to stop working.
EDIT:
'turn on Unknown Sources and Debugging' - It's impossible to access my phone to turn on USB debugging and unknown sources. What do I do now?

Attempt repairing your phone via Sony Ericsson Update Service. If that fails put a compatible basebrand and firmware on your phone. Make sure user data is wiped

Try to use SEUS to repair phone if you can't boot your phone. Do not use PC Companion cause' it will try to detect your phone everytime you use it but your phone can't boot so PC Companion now useless. If you can't repair your phone, you have to bring it to SE service.

It will not detect your phone dude. You must select your phone from the list supported. It will tell you to plug your phone in while holding BACK key and after searching for update, you will have a notice about update or repairing.
im new to android, very familer with flashing nokia phones but this seems a whole new ball game..
id like to root my galaxy s2 and also flash a generic firmware removing all the t mobile start screens and crap, maybe i could just do that with root access maybe?
anyway, im completly lost, ive read through loads of posts here, and im lost when XXWXW or what ever is mentioned, and im to download the in secure version.. here is what i got :>
wth?? wont let me post image hosted at imageshack, is just a screenshot of my about page on me phone..
wow, no way to post the image atall
i have to write all the versions and stuff tomrow, im going bed now.. would be easier if allow me to post a simple image lol..
any help on which firmware files i need would be great..
i got the odin flasher, just need to know what firmware i need, or what files i need to root my phone, as i dont see anything that matches to any official generic firmwares on here, neither can i find the insecure file i need..
thanx in advance
First of all, welcome to android, and like you I came from the world of symbian too. I must say, it can be a bit confusing, all these new terms to get used to but here we go, ill try and clear it up for you with just what applies to the sgs2 for simplicity.
First of all get Odin 1.85, which you said you got anyway.
Now, go to SamFirmware.com, sign up, then navigate to the android firmwares, select the sgs2 from the list, scroll down to XXKH3 (latest and in my opinion the best stock firmware), and download it.
You also need to find an app called superoneclick, I use v1.65, its not the latest, but always works for me, search the forumss or Google it, you should find it easily.
Once all is downloaded and extracted to a folder assumingly on your desktop your ready to go.
First off, switch your phone off and boot it into download mode by holding volume down, home button and power on. You should arrive on a black screen with some writing on and a yellow triangle. Press the up button once, you are now in download.
Connect your phone to PC, and let it install any drivers, I can't reneger at this point if I needed to provide specific drivers as it was a long time ago, but you may need to search for some or look for another "how to" if you have problems.
Start Odin, and without altering any checkboxes, press the PDA button and navigate to your folder where you unzipped/rar'd the firmware and select the one with "code" in the title. Then press phone and select the file with "modem" in the title. Lastly press csc and select one of the two files with "csc " in the title. Make sure you have the correct files and forget about the ones left for now. When sure, press "start".
When complete, your phone will restart and you should have a brand new copy of XXKH3 on your phone, which will now be wiped by the way, so back up and stuff you have first.
Now, you need to find the thread on here that provides "insecure kernels " download and flash any insecure kernel using the method described above except only using the "PDA" button, this step enables you to do the rooting bit next.
Once booted back up again, ensure that "USB debugging" is enabled, and open up and run superoneclick, just press the "root" button and let it do its thing. Reboot back into download mode.
Now, last step is to flash back the stock secure kernel. Start up Odin again, and press "PDA" then select the file with "kernel" in the name from the original download from SamFirmware. Flash it, and once rebooted, you now have stock latest unbranded firmware with root.
If your unclear about anything, ask and ill try and help, please do be careful, as is always the way with these things, you can brick it.

ok well if u sscroll down or press ctrl + f and type xxkh3 it will take u there .. but i am also guna update my firmware for first time and heres the link for firmware in case.

Yes, that's the one, the file named I9100XXKH3, it'll most likely be zipped or rar'd. When you extract it it will be several tar.md5 files
I used to spend ages on symbian freak, I must say I think android is easier, only pain is you need different binaries for windows for all different oem's that run android to flash. It can get complicated if you flit from one brand to another like I do a lot.
It's a shame symbian didn't keep up, as I liked it, very functional, just cumbersome to use. Although I must say that belle looks nice, although very Android like.
Just go to this thread for firmwares and guide on how to flash the device: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1075278

yea, nokia made mistake with symbian.. it was a great os back in the day when it was open, like 2nd edition symbian where all system files could be accessed, then if i remember correctly the n80 was the first 3rd edition symbian device, which had a whole load of stupid security features stopping us power users / modders having access to system files.. this was the downfall of symbian i belive, but it was hacked eventually, but then the touch screen revoloution came about, and symbian just simply isnt an os that is usable on a touch only input device, like 5800 for example..
the whole theme that originated symbian to how it was, was the fact it could be very easily used in one hand, but touch screens killed that, and they tried to addapt but failed misserably imo.. now i hear nokia are going with windows 7 mobile, i dont know why they dont use android, well i do, cus its based on linux and easiliy hackable and moddable which for some reason nokia hates.. not sure what happened with the meegoo, or meamo os on the n900, i gave up on nokia after the 5800 and n8.. 5800 was a total failure, worst phone ive ever had, the n8 wasnt so bad, but so sluggish annd everything was so long winded, like simple tasks like changing ring tones had to go through 9000 menu pages, but thats symbian for you lol.. the camera on the n8 i still belive the best camera on any phone to date, just a shame the os the phone has..
one final question before i flash.. whats differnce beetween

thanx for help. just need to be tottaly sure before I flash.
Also. I have bricked several Nokia symbian devices in my time. but was able to do a dead flash via usb. or if this failed then I would have to dead flash the device using jaf with fbus cable. now if something did go wrong and brick my s2 is it possible to revive via a usb dead flash as I don't have fbus cable for this device or know if such a thing even exists. I've been out the phone modding game for a long long time due to illness. still in recovery now. just wonder what options I have if something was bad to happen. as we all know flashing any device has some amount of risk.
thanx again guys. much appreciate the prompt replies.

One thing to be wary of, that is a certain death situation if you lose it, is to back up your /efs folder. It contains important information such as imei and more. Flashing normally doesn't touch that folder but it has been heard of for it to go corrupt when flashing. It's rare, but can happen. I have flashed mine dozens of times with no ill effects. There are instructions on this forum of how to do it, unfortunately I think you have to be rooted first in order to do it.

You can also wipe it manually by booting in recovery mode (vol. up + home + power).
Cool. so there is a Rom (read only memory) partition that can't be access only via recovery mode? and if something was to go wrong you can always boot into recovery mode and re install the stock factory firmware? if something was to go wrong. am I understanding you correctly? bit like the recovery options from a windows pc for example.
or am I completely off key here lol.
another quick question is about sp lock. I pretty sure my sgs2 is locked to t-mobile and if anything like symbian devices flashing firmware does nothing to the sp lock. is this the same with android devices. or more specifically the sgs2? I remember the Nokia bb5 phones was unlockable for many many years. as Im sure some of you remember the great dejan keljavic found a way to unlock bb5. that was years ago so Im guessing there is most likely even stronger algorithms for sp unlock? But that was Nokia and this is Samsung. so is sp unlock a possibility? not that its super important to me as Im on contract anyway but is nice to know if possible. is pointless Google unlock sgs2 as every website in the world claim they can do it via calculating code from imei lol. which are all scams.
thanx again for helping a droid noob lol. anything anyone need to know about symbian Im happy to help. more so on 2nd. 3rd and 5th edition symbian os. not so much on symbian^3 but still got n8 which runs this os so happy to help if an occasion should arise. which is doughtfull as I think android is the future.
Marty
You use CWM to create a nandroid backup, then anytime you want to restore your default system, just restore it.
To flash .tar files you use Odin for Windows.
Actually its very simple, there is an app you can download from the market that will find the code for you, called sgs2 unlock. You do need root first tho.
hello again, still havent got round to messing around with my phone yet lol.. but im going to do it tomroow, i know some time has passed now, and im currently downloading I9100XWKK5 from samfirmware as its 2.3.6.. making the latest stock unbranded firmware for my device right?
thanx again guys

XXKK5 is that not a branded firmware? cant find it on samfirmware at all..
also, could i download a 4.0.3 android version and flash it to my sgs2? I9100XXLP6 for example??
Nope, generic unlocked.
Edit: Just noticed I was being a complete plum and looking at the baseband version, you are correct, XXKKA. Apologies.
Hello XDA members
2 weeks ago i bought a brand new Neo V and fully updated it from SEUS
1 week ago i started reading your forums [facepalm]
Yesterday i followed a series of tutorials on the Neo V Development forum and i managed to brick my phone [facewall!!!]
What i did :
1) Download lots of stuff!!!
a) .42 ftf file from here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=19808360&postcount=3
b) flashtool from it's original website
c) DoomKernel's rooting script
d) CWM script from here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=19733978&postcount=1 (the 1st way)
e) S1tool from here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=18013064&postcount=44
2) Use them ALL!!!
a) Install and extract where necessary
b) put .42 in C:\flashtool\firmware
c) put everything else in C:\SETools\ to act tidy
3) Feel like McGuyver!
a) used needle & wire to unlock bootloader with s1tool [success]
4) Take the big step!
a) flash .42 firmware with flashtool [all OK]
phone took it's time to reboot, scared me to death! at least 4 full minutes :/
b) use flashtool to root from the Advanced>Root>ZergRush menu [Fail]
it seems flashtool failed after first part.
c) used DoomKernel's script and rooted phone [all OK]
d) reboot and enjoy! [all OK]
.42 firmware was ok, root ok, boot was slow.. other than that everything worked. (except market, could not download anything!)
e) used Upgrade Service from phone menu and found .62 OTA upgrade. [Failed]
phone downloaded the new firmware, i pressed install, that was it.
And thus my Neo V rebooted to complete the upgrade to .62
The upgrade was never completed, the phone never turned on again.
No SE logo, no led, no nothing!
Everytime i press the power button nothing happens, if i keep it pressed for some time the led flashes green every second.
Everytime i connect it to the PC usb it goes to flash mode on it's own, no back key pressed.
When plugged on charger led flashes green every second.
Last thing i tried was to reflash it (since it went on flashmode) with .42 again.
Nothing there
Still, i would like to see it alive once more since 200 euro for a green led is not really a bargain
Any help appreciated!!
Ok if the pc recognizes it you should be able to resurrect it with pccompanion, seus or wotan client
Sent from my MT11i using Tapatalk
Will try, though phone is not really recognised..
it functions only as when turned off and pressing back button while connecting to pc usb.
EDIT : Installed SEUS again and tried to do an upgrade (only option available through support zone)
Failed first couple of times, then it popped up a new window asking to repair since update is not working.
Asked me phone model and downloading ATM, will report soon
EDIT 2 : Nothing with Pc Companion or SEUS. It reflashed the phone with .62 firmware but the phone is in the same state.
About Wotan Client, i would love to try it but i have no idea how to install it or run it, it asks for credits and i don't think reflashing will help in this case.
wotan flashing is free bro, just download their client and follow steps most probably u will get ur fone back to ur life. best of luck !
Just a thought, the phone acts as if the back button is constantly pressed and i find that VERY weird..
Also, SEUS discovers the phone as "Sony / Sony Ericsson" (?), is it possible that this has to do with the s1tool driver i installed before while unlocking the bootloader?
wow, thats what i call entire history of your phone
anw you experienced OTA brick. because you have unlocked bootloader.
strange, some people get brick some don't, with un-official(s1tool) method.
but with official, everyone get brick.

OTA brick? The tutorials i followed requested me to upgrade with OTA to have .62 with root. Where they wrong?

they werent wrong, but if I think on which tutorial you mean, it says its for people with locked bootloader.
now when you have unlocked bl, your life is easier
you can simply use custom kernel which have root included in itself
go to dev section, you can use galaxian or bbooff kernel.
while you are there check sticky threads to see how to flash kernel.
after you read those, ask if you have any question.

Thank you all SOOOOOO much!!!
Wotan worked, my phone is up and running on .42!!!
So now about tweaking a bit, those kernels support official roms only,
if i wanted to go for something more goodlooking, faster, nicer.. what would you suggest?
No, those kernels arent only for official rom's.
And about custom roms, I'm not the one to talk about it much, as I'm not so much into custom roms dont have enough time to test them.
so you will need to go trough development section and find something you like. remember you can also look in neo section, most of the roms can work on your phone with minor modifications.
also remember, first read then install
So.. i managed to have a working phone and now i am trying to flash galaxian.
i went on cmd, started fastboot with appropriate command and plugged in phone pressing the menu button.
Now in device manager i can see "S1boot Fastboot" and it is not recognised, what am i suppossed to do????
-turn off your phone.
-hold menu key(the right one )
-connect cable
-you should see blue light on led on the side, do you see it?
-go to folder where you have fastboot.exe file
-hold shift key and right-click of mouse anywhere in that folder except on files
-sellect start comandprompt here(or something like that)
- type fastboot devices
-tell if it says something.
Seems like you didn´t install drivers for fastboot...
i thought they are included in adb drivers !?
Well i have installed the whole android sdk with it´s drivers.
As long as it is unrecognized in Windows (no drivers installed) S1Tool has no Chance to detect it

u havent installed the correct drivers, connect the phone again in fastboot mode, go to device manager, select s1tool fastboot, click update driver, browse for it manually and point it to the the folder in which you have fastboot, done.
Wow! Wotan client can unbrick a phone that bricked with OTA?
Sent from my MT11i using XDA
If you dont want to brick phone with new custom kernel, use ,,hotboot,, function.
That should boot phone with new kernel one time.
If you dont like kernel, just reboot your phone
Sorry for English.

Hi, I have a orange network locked xperia ray st18i locked bootloader. I downloaded pc companion and did a software update and all went well. The phone booted up fine after the update until I shut it down and since then I have been unable to get passed the SE screen. It just hangs there. I am able to enter flash mode by pressing the down button and plugging the usb in. Tried phone repair option and still no jog.
Today I tried to unlock the bootloader using the pin touching menthod but that didnt work either. Said something like fatal error....
I need to unlock the bootloader to try a alternative rom to see if that works or revert back to the stock orange rom it came with but im cannot find this anywhere. I am a learner so any advice would be helpful. CAn anyone suggest a rom for the ray that can be installed using flash method WITHOUT unlocked bootloader? I am a **** for doing the uprgrade via sony website but I didnt think this would happen. should have left it as it was.
Thanks for reading.
Take your battery out and try reflashing again using SEUS.
Thread moved to Xperia Ray Q&A.
Yes I have tried that many times already and it finishes the update correctly but still hangs on the SE logo when turned on. I tried again just to see if anything has changed. When I connected the phone whilst pressing the down vol button it recognised it and said your phone already has the latest software but I re installed anyway. No change in result though.
Sony have asked to send the phone to repair and they will reply with a quote for fixing it. Has anyone used this service before and how much can i expect to pay for a software install? Repair office is in Ashford, kent.
thanks
Read my guide and try flashing a stock ftf file, if that fails theres a few other things you could try.

It's not as hard as you may think
Use this to create the ftf, it's step by step. If you can't/don't want to do it I can't help you because I have no orange firmware

HAD YOU READ THE FIRST PART OF MY GUIDE YOU WOULD ALREADY KNOW. Had you even read the stickys in the General section you would have found one.
Right so I created the .ftf file from the three update files. Ive downloaded x10 flash tool. I connect the phone and flashtools registers that a phone is connected then start the flash but soon after the phone just gets disconnected.
any idea's?

Download the latest flashtool (I guess it's 0.9.x) and install it. Go to the drivers folder and install all the drivers for all the phones and modes. Now you launch flashtool, but don't connect the phone! Click on the flash -> flashmode -> select the ftf and don't exclude anything (you have the ability on the right site).
Now click OK and the screen to connect the phone in flashmode appears. Shut down the phone, wait 20 seconds, hold volume down and while holding volume down connect the phone to PC.
Wait until the flashing process has finished and hope it'll start!

Thanks for guiding me and yes it finally flashed BUT the phone still hangs on the SE logo when booted up. I read somewhere on here another member had the same issue and it turned out to be the bandwidth???
What should I try now?
