Hi Guys!
I searched the web now for several days now but there seems no software out there for windows mobile that can find and delete duplicated SMS (inbox and sent). There is similar software out there but the tools seems to take care for duplicated contacts and appointments only....
Right now Im having about 30.000 SMS messed up the speed of my Blackstone so I would be really thankful if someone knows such a tool or at least can program a simple proggy like outlook cleaner but for messages.
Thanks,
Cpt-Future
Sup guys. I'm having some problem with someone sending me strange sms from the web service of the my phone service. I really want to discover who is, and I think I can find the ip of the guy in decrypting the file where the sms conversations are stored. So, where I can find it?
never seen that but might be under sys folders
you can also backing up them not using SE but a small transfer that is inside sms settings
or look for a converter/back up and send them to an xml
not sure if that can help you hope it does
Hi guys, I hope you can tell me something.
I came from an Htc HD which obviously had Sense.
I was used to the fact that sms from contacts with multiple numbers were grouped by name.
So if John had more then one phone, and sent me messages from all his phones, they would all appear as John's messages (same thread).
Now I came to Android, I installed a number of different messaging apps, and none does the same.
Is it just me that needs such a feature?
Is it even possible on Android?
Go SMS Pro, Messaging, Handcent SMS, all show the exact same behaviour: a thread for each number!
So now my friend John has two or three threads, depending on which phone he has in his reach at the moment...
I can't believe I'm the only one that can't stand this...

Man... You think I'm stupid or you didn't read my post.
I HAVE single contacts with multiple numbers and still they appear as separate threads.
Sent from my LG-P990 using XDA App
Same problem here
I'm on the HTC HD2 with a gingerbread rom, been bugged by the exact same problem for months. Seems all I can find are other people mentioning the problem, and no solution :/
Solution found?
Hi All,
I've searched around but haven't been able to find a way to remove the 10 recipient limit on SMS messages. I'd like to keep the stock HTC Messaging app. I've looked in the xml files inside the apk, but cannot seem to find where the recipient limit can be changed.
Any ideas?

Unfortunately, that is in reference to the Samsung messaging app, and after looking inside the xml folder in our current mms.apk file, I find that the xml files are not the same. I have searched for "receipientLimit among all the xml files and haven't come across anything changeable from 10 to some other number...
Hello,
Hope someone can help with a fix.
I googled this so many times but still didn't find a solution.
When I use the T9 to search for a contact in the dialer, the contact shows up but the number under the contact is duplicated .
However when I open the same contact in the contacts all there is only 1 number and no sign of any duplicates.
I have checked and I have no duplicate contacts at all in my contacts.
I have also used the filter to only show contacts from my Gmail account.
But still same issue persists.
Second, can anyone confirm whether I can get the notifications on my lockscreen to be kept hidden until I use face unlock and then their content becomes visible without exiting the lockscreen?
Lastly, does anyone have any idea if it's possible with any app or mod to have horizon lights keep on blinking rather than just blink once when notification is received?
Appreciate any input, thanks

1st. Same here with me.
I tested & founded that the duplicate number is WhatsApp contact & not going away even if we choose only to show contact from Gmail account.
2nd. I don't think it's possible right now
3rd. Users submitted feedbacks on OnePlus forums & they said they are working on it.
Thanks for the feedback.
Yeah I read somewhere it's got to do with WhatsApp.
They suggested to remove all spaces from phone numbers in contacts, I tried with one and it worked !
But I have way too many contacts to do it manually for each one.
Looking for an app or some fast way to do it in bulk.

Export it from Gmail and then you can work on the .xml file in a file editor. Find & Replace [space] with nada
Then import it back on.
