Because the development section is getting inundated with help requests, I've opened an IRC channel for those seeking help and those who would lend a hand.
Please try to use this first instead of posting the same questions and expressing the same frustrations as 100 people before you.
If you don't know how to use IRC, then just click on the following link and you can access the channel with your web browser. If you have a favorite IRC client, then you can probably figure out what to do from the link.

I hope this helps.
Thank you.

Well, someone suggested that we should have an IRC channel, so lets try this.
#lg-optimus @ Freenode.net
Join and discuss with everyone!, ask for help, or just chat , hopefully this will help the development a bit and people that want/need more immediate help.
Hope to see you there!
Hello everybody around HTC Jetstream forums,
I have recently been assigned to this forum for moderation works. Any help, suggestions, comments and ideas to improve this forums are much appreciated, and always welcome.
Please contact me by PM or post in this thread, and of course I will help as much as i can.
Cheers!
Welcome to the party I've registered the IRC channel #jetstreamdev on freenode, PM me a note here and verify yourself there and I'll give you ops.
Hey guys, we couldn't find a Droid Razr channel so we went ahead and made one!
#droid-razr = for those who have a client already.
For those without a client or who just want quick access, here's a webchat link:
http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=droid-razr
So if you need any help, need a place to troubleshoot or collaborate development projects, etc, come hang out!
To the Mods: if you guys wanna sticky this so people can find it easily, feel free to...if not, no biggie!
sweet thanks! will stop by. i've got some basic questions and maybe this can help!
Thanks for letting us know about the existance of a place where users can talk to devs.
not finding this channel on freenode, but not doing webchat, using client. That shouldn't make a difference though, right?
I'm looking for an Android IRC channel with active members.
I'm getting back into IRC and as I'm starting to dive into Learning this junk, I find that it would be a great tool and a fun pass time to chat w you guys. Any active channels for general android developers?

Hey everyone. I wasn't able to find an irc channel for the galaxy note, so I decided to make one.
I'm going to post this in all of the Galaxy Note 2 sub forums because all our devices are rocking the same hardware more or less so it'll be a nice place for devs to collaborate and for users to do whatever users do.
If you have an IRC client
Just connect to freenode.net, then #galaxy-note-2
If you do NOT have an IRC client
Here's the web interface for webchat on freenode: http://webchat.freenode.net/
Click the link, put in a username, then #galaxy-note-2 in the "Channels" box, fill out the captcha and go.
Hope to see people in there this phone is amazing.
