Hey everyone. I wasn't able to find an irc channel for the galaxy note, so I decided to make one.
I'm going to post this in all of the Galaxy Note 2 sub forums because all our devices are rocking the same hardware more or less so it'll be a nice place for devs to collaborate and for users to do whatever users do.
If you have an IRC client
Just connect to freenode.net, then #galaxy-note-2
If you do NOT have an IRC client
Here's the web interface for webchat on freenode: http://webchat.freenode.net/
Click the link, put in a username, then #galaxy-note-2 in the "Channels" box, fill out the captcha and go.
Hope to see people in there this phone is amazing.

Because the development section is getting inundated with help requests, I've opened an IRC channel for those seeking help and those who would lend a hand.
Please try to use this first instead of posting the same questions and expressing the same frustrations as 100 people before you.
If you don't know how to use IRC, then just click on the following link and you can access the channel with your web browser. If you have a favorite IRC client, then you can probably figure out what to do from the link.
http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=#liberatedAria
I hope this helps.
Thank you.
irc.freenode.net #nookcolor
Will update if its ever changed.
Use the above IRC! Its the active one.
This one below is just an extra one, in case its ever needed(ie freenode goes down or something). Can never be too careful.
irc.irondust.net #nooktablet
Any help towards unlocking this device's full potential is welcomed.
Just join #nookcolor. That's where the devs are right now and there's no need to fragment the community.
Bump and REQ sticky.

Hey guys, we couldn't find a Droid Razr channel so we went ahead and made one!
#droid-razr = for those who have a client already.
For those without a client or who just want quick access, here's a webchat link:
http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=droid-razr
So if you need any help, need a place to troubleshoot or collaborate development projects, etc, come hang out!
To the Mods: if you guys wanna sticky this so people can find it easily, feel free to...if not, no biggie!
sweet thanks! will stop by. i've got some basic questions and maybe this can help!
Thanks for letting us know about the existance of a place where users can talk to devs.
not finding this channel on freenode, but not doing webchat, using client. That shouldn't make a difference though, right?
Alright, I decided to make this channel since I don't see one available for the devices. It's a single channel so I would prefer if people good with both devices join incase I can't help with something (I've only had 1 day with the device so far..)
Server / Channel Information:
Server: irc.freenode.net
Channel: #Flyer-View
Port: 6667
webchat link:
http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=Flyer-View
Mods please sticky (You're actually required to sticky the IRC channel to the general section according to XDA rules)
Logged in to the IRC. No one is in the room...
Thats because apparently no one wants. To idle in. That room.
Sent aboard the Evo Express
I'll join the channel, I'll just idle there because i don't have anything better to do than put more channels on irssi/ZNC
I'm looking for an Android IRC channel with active members.
I'm getting back into IRC and as I'm starting to dive into Learning this junk, I find that it would be a great tool and a fun pass time to chat w you guys. Any active channels for general android developers?
