Okay, so I've never posted here before.. I've only lurked enough to figure out how to install a WM6 ROM on my phone.
I've been having a lot of problems with my Hermes lately (can't make/receive calls, sim missing, text messages not sending or receiving)... I have not figured out if it's from dropping it too much or if it's because I'd been running a WM6 rom on it. So I decided on Saturday to switch to another version of the WM6 ROM's available around here...
I installed 3DES.3 and so far I've been having more and more issues as far as making and receiving phone calls.
So the issue is that with the slider closed I'd go to the phone screen and then t9 in a user's name and then call them. The call would not connect... I kept trying and normally wouldn't notice the number it's trying to dial, but the phone is trying to dial a 107140 in front of every call made through the t9 dial menu.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Is the ROM trying to make long distance calls on our behalf? Should it be taken off the website?
Thanks guys,
Mitchel

the ROM you are talking about isnt exploited to my knowledge... but it is old and i think 3DES has stopped supporting it...
you are also in the wrong Forum... you should have posted in Hermes Windows Mobile 6... download this ROM and try it...
Thanks for the fast reply. I'll switch over to that ROM. Something is definitely up with this ROM though.
Thanks again,
Mitchel
Hi All,
I just got my hero yesterday. after playing around with it i realised that there is no way i can track my total outgoing call minutes. I also could not find anywhere in the phone to check the total number of outgoing SMS/MMS. Total GPRS data transmitted, in terms of KB, also could not be found anywhere in the phone Are the above some missing features of HTC Hero?
If yes, is there any android apps that can help me achieve the below?
1. Check my total outgoing call minutes and preferably able to reset it every month
2. check the total number of sms sent
3. track the total number of GPRS data transmission (in KB or in MB)
Thanks a lot
There's an excellent free app called NetCounter on the market. Does exactly what you're asking for.
Any other messaging app will come with a counter to tell you total sms's sent so far. And yes, I am using NetCounter to check my Mobile and Wireless data throughput. Dunno about GPRS though...
Netcounter can only track data bandwidth but not outgoing minutes or total call minutes. Anyone can help?

PHONALYZR
Download Phonalyzr
PHONALYZR does not separate outgoing and incoming call. It only shows total number of call time (in minutes). Any apps that allow tracking of monthly outgoing call time?
Thanks

Your account on your mobile provider's website
what im looking for is a really simple app that would count the minutes for my outgoing calls per month. (or until id reset the statistics manually)
important is that it should count every call that is <60sec as one minute too, instead of adding up seconds from several calls. thats it
sadly, all the apps linked on the forums didnt work for my phone or were not what ive been looking for

ok guys I found what you were looking for...and it is perfect! http://www.softhall.com/software/callstat_for_sp-10186
btw the link I have given at post #3 is a totally wrong softare...i doesnt count...it ressets the timer instead.so it is a fail
The tech has been progressing so fast these days. We have incredible smartphone these days with a lot of potential. But I wonder sometimes, if Android has done anything to localize the Voice Mails.
Like, is there an app or something to enable people to RECORD incoming calls, without having to personally attend each call? Like, an answering machine should automatically record a message from incoming call when we're bit available.
IS THERE SUCH A THING?
Bump ....
