Ok so i received my HD2, what roms, radios, tweaks, mods, apps should i install and be adding?
Thanks for your suggestions.
start with the sticky "[REF] *Leo Hints, Tips and Registry Tweaks" in the very same forum
that's an easy one to answer - as you managed to navigate here, you must have seen the other fora for everything connected with the HD2, plus at the head of this forum is a truly magnificent list of tweaks and little things you can add to make your HD2 experience wonderful.
I'm afraid there is no alternative to searching and just trying things to see what suits you - my favourite tweak is Cookie's home screen mod. PL Toggle is good too. But others may disagree - just go ahead and see what takes your fancy, there's tons of stuff here.

i Am sorry i am new to this forum and a little naive but what program are you people using to change the HTC pro cause i have the At&t fuze and i wish to change the backgroundpic the color of style bars and the buttons on the main screen that lead to favorites and other apps if someone could tell me this program that would be great
or if its not a program at least tell me the main files i need to replace
this is a very odd question.
you can change the themes ( Search "TouchFlo 3d Themes")
or
You can change the Rom (Check out the main in this forum section)
or
You can make your own roms from dumped roms.(info found here)
hope this helps, and hopeful you are ambitious, knowledgable and patient enough to start cooking it's always nice to seem more developers/chefs.
Sorry if this is a bit out of place in the ROM development forum, but I was wondering if anyone here can help me identify the name of these set of square icons, if they are part of a series. I noticed a lot of the chefs here have used these in their ROMs. The icons look great, and I'd be interested in getting more of the set. Thank you .
These icons are from recent HTC 6.5 ROM's, HTC has created new icon art for the start menu I'm not sure if the full set is posted anywhere.
I got this from Topaz leaked AT&T. There are some icons that you see in there in this. Have fun.
Thanks for the replies guys. Yes, these are what I've been looking for. I've tried looking around but couldn't find any more of these in the forum. Anyone would be so kind as to post some more sets? Preferrably in icos and dlls, but pngs are cool too. Thank you.

Click to collapse
titanium is the default today screen GUI that you get bundled with the windows 6.5 which makes use of the new scrolling system in it...check the picture...
it consumes a little less RAM then manila but it isn't better than it imho...
and having the start menu button at the bottom doesn't require any external software...you get that with the newer 6.5.x builds i.e. the build number has to be something like 23xxx or higher...
you can check this in the specifications posted with the ROM you want to flash or if you're gonna cook for yourself you can pick up the latest builds from Duron's thread...
just keep searching for stuff or go through some thread on this amazing site if you want to know more...
the awesome senior members are extremely helpful!!
Thanks a lot dude for your help
i had been looking here a lot
could you give me the thread link for the titanium if possible
the titanium comes as a SYS package in the rom builds used in cooking...
i haven't run into it in the .cab form yet, themes for it however are available...
if you want to check the titanium UI out, i suggest flashing one of the WM 6.5 roms from the many posted in the forum..
just go through the thread posted by Karan, Krazy, Vaibhav, Duron, and all the other great chefs out here...
most of the rom threads have a [ROM] in front of the name...
here a link to a rom which has a start menu at the bottom like what you wanted...just flash it onto your device and enjoy!!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=592481
NOTE:- i hope your familiar with the flashing process, if you aren't i suggest going the Krazy's post

Thnx a lot for it
Ok, so... here's me posting my first thread EVER in XDA.
I recently stumbled-upon this website that lets you search somewhere to find all sorts of icons. There are some filters you can use to help narrow down your search like licenses and size and such... I feel like if you want to customize your phone this at least makes it easier to find new icons if you don't like your old ones

questions or comments ask here!
or i guess you can pm me.....
EDIT: spelling XP
Awesome. Thanks
No problem
I downloaded over a dozen themes from Samsung app on my S7, but just a couple of theme change the foreground and background colors of quick settings buttons, which is all I need. But those themes also change dozens of other things which I want unchanged!
How can I create my own theme and edit fore and back colors of quick icons?
Is it also possible to change shape of such icons without rooting?
You create your own themes by learning how. Loads of links here to help you get started. https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=41820200&postcount=2
One help is better than 1 thousand words (or links).
Your post doesn't help at all, it's just a link to a hundred links.
It helps by giving you links to the info you need. We don't spoon feed here. You will have to put in your own work to figure it out.
In the end you will have to make your own theme.
"I don't know" or "I don't want to help you, it's up to you" would have been more appropriate replies and would have saved band and disk space.
If you are looking for hand holding or spoon feeding then you came to the wrong place. This is a developers forum which means no one will really help you until you help yourself first.
My post should help anyone wanting to learn how to make mods and if you really wanted to learn you'd be spending time reading those links to guides and how-tos as well as the OP of the thread they are posted in and asking more questions instead of turning your nose up at those trying to help.
