hi do anyone know how to change the lockscreen of sense rom to vanilla lockscreen?
A theme? Or are you asking how to make a theme which does this? - try the theme section for guides.

not a theme, i just want the slide to unlock lockscreen and the slide to answer call just like the vanilla style
I'm fairly certain you'll need a theme to achieve this, someone may have done this in the theme section. Or just install a Vanilla rom instead of a sense one. Bear in mind that without the rosie (sense) lockscreen your alarm won't work.
i dont like to use vanilla because of the 'contacts' and the 'mail'

Hi,
sorry for asking but are there some beautyful flashable status/notification-bars?
I don´t like the one included in CM7 and AOSP ROMs - the icons look so grainy...
thx
cm7 has theme engine search for themes mdpi and install it and go to theme choose

What ROM are you at? I recommend going to uot.dakra.lt
You can modify your framework there yourself.
CM7 has theme engine, so you can apply themes to change the statusbar... you can use the UOT kitchen also without CM7
Greets!

thx for answers...
complete themes often have inconsistent design so i only want to change the status/notifation bar...
http://uot.dakra.lt/ is a nice site but aren´t there pre-built statusbars (e.g. ICS status bar and notification bar only?)
PS: is it possible to add shurtcuts (wlan, gprs, ...) with http://uot.dakra.lt/ ??

haha, LOL NOOOOOO!!!
You can't add those shortcuts. What you CAN do, is add (with UOT ) and 'quick settings tab' to your notification dropdown.
ANd a bit of google would have brought you to this thread:

And please, there is a 'THANKS' button to say thanks
Hi... Am sorry to bother you guys... Its been a week that I rooted my wildfire and have it running on CM7...
The problem is...
Hope the hell in the world do I get themes installed with the default wallpaper and layout...
please help. Am new out here...
And have been trying to get some solution for the themes.

More information is needed as to "default wallpaper and layout" ? as CM7 for Wildfire originally has a Theme Manager supplied with a few themes for you to change it. For more information on choosing the right theme or applying your desired themer, you may refer to this link:

No theme can change the layout of your phone. Initially, I was under the impression (and still am) that the themes cannot change your wallpaper as well, but there are a few posts which state that themes can change the wallpaper. (Yet to see it myself though - But, I am very sure on the layout part)
Besides, theme choosers use a lot of 3rd party apps like clock / weather widgets, minimalistic text etc to get their desired layout that best suits the theme. If you don't have these installed, how can it work?
Hey Thank you Xeno for your reply...
What you said makes sense...
But the question I would want to ask if, if a theme is download on the phone... Is it not supposed to load the wallpapers, clock, calender, etc. on it own?
I am sorry, I might sound to be a dumb A** but am new here and EAGER to learn.
I purchased a few themes thinking they would be fully loaded but to my surprise they werent.
For E.g.:
I Purchased the MattedBlues LauncherPro Theme from the market.
A pop-up came saying 'Sorry, this theme is missing assets for your devices screen size'.
From what I have read, I selected CONTINUE ANYWAY and Rebooted!
And all it changed was just the COLOR for Icons. Rest all remained the same, I mean the wallpaper, layout, icons...
Is there is a beginners guide I need to refer to for CM7?
Thank you in advance Buddy...
It's a LP theme buddy. If you needed the entire thing, you should have purchased the Theme Chooser Theme for CM7 (Which I have - And, it's fantastic, may I add ). And no, no theme can change the layout as I said before. Different themes theme a different number of elements, so again, your mileage may vary.
For the MB Theme, it is the colour that is the main appeal. They follow the stock look, but change the colour. It can be seen in the screenshots as well.
One last thing - Most of the theming stuff are for HDPI Phones, infact, the MB LP Theme explicitly says no MDPI version, and the Wildfire is LDPI. So, one's mileage with theming stuff will vary a lot between themes.
Basic Ready Reckoner: (What I have stated below are the "best case scenario". Some themes may change one or more elements)
- LP / ADW Themes changes the icons, the launcher specific widgets, and the wallpaper
- CM7 Themes changes the entire UI essentially - Menus, Status Bar, Default Widgets, Icons, Dialer etc. It cannot theme elements like the Lockscreen, some system menus etc
I have a htc Legend with cm7 and the included ADW.Launcher
When I apply a theme, the notification bar doesn't get themed. It wasn't always like this.
I'm guessing this is maybe some sort of permissions issue. Can anyone help?
regards,

Does it even happen with themes who state that the notification bar is themed?
If u apply a theme do u get a message with tells u that not all theme props could be used on ur phone?

Damn.. please excuse my comprehension failure. No, in fact the themes specifically stated that they did not change the notification area. For other dummies like me:
It turns out that what I remembered was installing a CM7 theme through the bundled Theme Chooser app. And not through ADW's own theme settings.

yeah thats what i thought too cus recently i used cm and when aplysing a theme the bar changed....but not in any case some themes didnt work properly on my device so some things got stuck on the stock theme
so fare well my friend
I wanted to mod the icons/themes, but do not know how to go about....
Is it all with the flashing new themes with CWM and even icons are the same?
Do we get icons for the default launcher with SGS3 or do we need to change the launcher to get the icons/themes?
Any tutorials would be real helpful,
Thanks guys
Is there a way to theme the system UI, but NOT theme the toggles?
For now I use Turbkey JB and the theme is great, but i really want to use ICS Blue Mod V4, because its has the nice blue background wherever you are in the system
But I dont like the way the toggles are themed in that one. (With JB notification bar that is, its perfect on ICS)
So I'd like to keep the toggles the way they are, but I would like another theme for the rest of the UI.
Is it possible?

You will have learn more about apk theming.. Then decompile systemui . apk.. Change the toggle buttons in drawables/hdpi and recompile..
You have been zooo==>ted
Ok, though i'm not a programmer or anything related to it, do i have a chance to do it myself?
I'm not a complete noob either
Do you have any links for needed software?

Better post it in the 'Themes and apps' section, you will have more solutions

It is simple to do easiest way is to find a theme you like but...
Copy SystemUI.apk from system apps folder or from your ROM file and Open SystemUI.apk with WINZIP and then goto drawable\HDPI or drawable\SW360DPI and edit the icons, then update the ZIP and reflash or push the systemUI.apk to system\apps folder
Vegeta has soom pretty awesome themes / mods, id advise to check them out.
