Hello guys, I just saw at htc.com that they have released an official update of the Diamond ROM and I was wondering if they make one for Touch Pro, will we be able to upgrade to it if we are on custom ROMs ?
Any ideas?
Thanks

re: Donut 1.6 Hero
I saw the signed donut 1.6 version on Android & Me. Wondering if this is safe to install for an unlocked white Hero? Or do we have to wait for something from HTC since it is a custom UI? Thanks all!
Hello all,
I have a problem on my HTC Leo. If someone call me i hear a robotic voice, but at the other site they here me very good. It looks likes the same problem as the android thread only that i have this on my windows mobile OS. I already changed the radio on my Leo and i use the Energy rom for my OS. I tested already with build 21916 and 24634 but no difference. Does somebody know how i can fix this problem? It looks like the problem is only when my Leo is on vibration and flat on the table.
Thanks for your response
Did u try to flash a different radio or different win mo rom?

I changed already my radio, but Win Mo i flashed with different builds and updates from energy. He have two builds of Win Mo, i think Win Mo 6.5 and Win Mo 6.5.3.
I'm now testing again with the energy rom. But what i did different is that i format the phone with the task29. I installed the latests radio rom again 2.12.xx.xx. Hope now it works, else i must look an other rom.
I keep you posted.
I still have the same problem. It looks like I have it the most when my phone is flat on a table. Maybe it is the G-sensor. I did not test an other ROM. I updated my radio rom to the lastest now but still. I'm looking now to test an other rom that have a little the same options as the Energy rom. I like this rom so much. Or maybe I must use the android version but I'm scared that it drain my battery to fast.
If some people have good idees let me know.
Thanks.
Have you tried tmous stock rom v 3.14 with radio 2.14?
Sent from my hTC HD2 running NexusHD2 FRG83 v 1.2 using XDA app
maybe the problem is with tmous because i have an European phone.
My specs:
HTC HD2 T8585
OS Version: 5.2.23138 (23138.5.3.9)
Manila version: 2.5.20183025.0
ROM version: 13.Sep.2010 WWE
ROM date: 04/28/10
Radio version: 2.14.50.04
Protocol version: 15.42.50.09U
From my experience, radio 2.14 is not compatible with most android build. The issue is the robotic voice.
Sent from my hTC HD2 running NexusHD2 FRG83 v 1.2 using XDA app
Ok, but i don't use Android its windows mobile. I think I have this problem since I flash the radio to a Tmouse version I think.
Now i changed my radio today 2 times and tested it. It is still with a robot voice. Then I installed the new Energy dutch Rom (before I had the english ROM). Still it helped nothing. I test and now that I think it only happens when there is a lot but a lot of noise on the background on the other line then I get the robot voice. If someone call on a silent place its no problem. What can the problem be???
I tested now this ROMS,
R2.08.50.05
G15.34.50.07U
D:2 Energy G8
R2.14.50.04
G15.42.50.09U
D:2 Energy G8
Its strange that no other person have this same problem.
Thanks for the response.
Try Flashing a stock rom?
no i didn't try that yet. With stock rom you mean the update roms on the HDC website with Rom Win Mobile + Radio? If I flash my HD2 like this do I lose then my HSPL crack?
Thanks for your response
What do you mean by stock rom? The original rom from HTC?
Will it effect my HSPL? Can I ever flash again the rom?
I have the first HSPL, will it better to put HSPL2 on my phone?
Thanks for your response.
Try my combination if you are using T-Mobile hd2.
Search for hspl3 then flash the same type of Rom I have.

I must say that I did not have this problem before the USA HTC HD2 came out and the Tmous compatible roms came out. Thanks for your response.

I've read on other non t-mobile hd2 flashing Tmous Rom 3.14 being ok. Try searching for the thread under HTC hd2 Rom development section for the Rom v 3.14. There you should find some answers on non t-mobile hd2 user experience.

Check out post #242 by clyder.
By the way, anyone knows how to copy link from one thread to another with xda app? I had to manually type in the url above and it could be a pain and I wanted to find an easier and faster way to refer my sources to help out our fellow members.

Just update the HSPL.1.42 to HSPL 2.08 (HSPL3) all worked great. Just started my phone again with the energy rom and tested it again. Still have the robot voice. So then i installed the ROM RUU_LEO_1_5_TMOUS..., the rom is now installed and I tested 4 times, all looks ok no robot voice for now. But this Rom is from T-mobile with a lot of crap on like blockbuster, amazonmp3, mobtv and what else. Also I miss already the other futures. If I update now again to Energy can it be again the Robot voice or not? Or do I need to use a costum rom with 3.14 driver?
For example this rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=618787
Thanks again for your response

You're welcome. Always glad to be able to help.
I personally like the stock Rom better because it maximizes the settings for the particular network you're on. I could understand why bloat ware could get on your nerve as I also don't like all the custom wares included with custom roms. I've personally have not tried chucky rom but I've seen a lot of users out there with good feed back on it.
To answer your question to whether or not to try it, I would say go ahead. I honestly have not heard of robotic voice issue on any custom hd2 roms as it is made for and from hd2 Rom.
I would suggest you trying both and see which one works best for you in overall experience. Let me know the outcome of both energy and chucky roms after you try it.

All still ok for the moment, I'm falling in love with android now so I use Android on Windows Mobile. It goes verry good. Also the calls work great. No robot voice in Android to. I use the version of DarkStone1337 ([BUILD][17.10.2010][FroyoStone Sense - V3.2][Kernel: linux_on_wince_htc 2.6.32.15]). Works great and love it.
If you don't hear nothing about me it mean the problem has been Solved. Thanks again to everybody who support me in this thread to find a solution.
Hi this is my first post on this forum, I have read alot and i tried to run android on my HD2 but i found out that my radio was too low for the requirements.
My question is if I update my firmware from HTC itself... will it update my radio aswell? I don't know what rom to download from HTC as there are so many.
Here are some few details of my HD2:
OS Version: 5.2.21864
Manila Version: 2.5.19202525.0
ROM Version: 1.43.405.1 (70124) WWE
Rom date: 10/26/09
Radio Version: 2.04.50.22_2
Protocol Version: 15.26.50.07U
Flash size: 512mb
How can I run android on this phone and how can I get an official update as I have no trust in unofficial updates.
THANK YOU
its a regular hd2, or a telstra hd2. either way, none of the official updates for it contain a high enough radio for android..
where did people get the stock roms then? and whats the best way to get android on my phone by just running it on SD and how can i just patch just the radio and is it only the radio that needs to get patched?
they get stock roms from the thread in rom development called "leo official roms". but as i said, i'm pretty sure android needs a radio of 2.10.50 or so to work best, and the x.x.50 radios come from the tmous roms, so you would need to hspl to flash those radios..
your best option rather than asking here is to go read the android section. there are a few "how to"s in there will tell you all about it.

that's nonsense, you can flash any rom over any rom so long as it is a compatible rom for your phone. That's just T Mobile giving instructions for the lowest common denominator.
