Could someone please post the avatar movie file and the other exclusive apps, such as sim 3, mobi tv, and gogo, and whatever other useful apks i can use on my evo.
Download the vibrant dump from the developer section. It does not come with the avatar movie though, nor will the avatar movie even work on your evo its got DRM. It also does not have the sims 3 and we cant post it... that would be illegal lol....

Cool features? I rather get stock Android applications, a lot of these things that hes requesting for are bloatware and a lot of us uninstall it. The things like The Sims and Avatar are neat but they are DRM protected. Also the applications like Mobitv, Kindle, etc that come preloaded with the phone aren't the actual app.. they are generally 30-day trials.
How bout you get rid of that evo and get a vibrant, or epic if your on sprint.

It WILL play without the apk file, it WILL play if moved to another Vibrant, it WON'T play on any other device, and it IS illegal to upload it because it's copyright Fox or whomever.
On a side note, how the HELL do people keep deleting this thing?
Oh, and because it was bothering me: "Avatar", "without", "Could", "Avatar", "their".

He is right. I rooted my Vibrant and swapped out the SD Card. After that,
I deleted the apk and such, then moved the movie files to my new SD Card.
No apk, file plays flawlessly.
Strange cause when you move it over to a mytouch slide it won't play.

It's only licensed to play on the Vibrant.
Possibly only on Samsung's customized rom, too (IOW, you won't be able to play it on CM6).

I wanted to change my SD from the stock 2gb to a 16gb, so I copy the movie to my laptop, the from the laptop to the 16gb and when I put the 16gb in the phone, the movie won't play, it says format not supported. I had to copy the movie to the phone, and from the phone to the new 16gb SD

Or if you got a old phone with a SD card hook both up to the USB and just copy it over to the new SD card. Or you could probably even get away with copying it to your Samsung 14GB internal then switching the old SD to the new and then cutting it into the new SD card

Or, worst case scenario, grab you a program that recovers deleted data from removable memory. There's a million of them out there and unless you formatted the card a dozen times or filled it slap full, it'll likely be easily recoverable.
Why do people keep saying T-mobile will give you Avatar back again? Maybe if we have one in returns but we don't just have a copy of the movie laying around to transfer it back onto your phone. Sorry its gone for good, go buy the movie and rip it to your computer. Then put it back on your phone.

No, we don't. If the customer deletes the file themselves manually or through a factory reset we have been advised not to replace it. We had to many people selling HD2s on ebay & craigslist and keeping the memory card. Then the new owner expected us to transfer the missing movie to their replacement cards.

We don't just have an SD car laying around but we will swap out sd cards if we have one in return. It not my job to keep one on hand for retards that delete their crap.
You'd be better off doing like someone suggested and ripping the DVD on your computer and putting it on your sd card.

I don't know how they got on my sd card or whatever. I'm thinking maybe from one of the Froyo roms, because I've only noticed the sounds since I've been on one of the Froyo roms. Anyway, I've attached the files that I'm talking about, they're really short clips (all of them are between 3-7 seconds each).
They're labeled Voice 001-028, so I assume they were made with the voice recorder, and were all made between 9/27-9/28. I think I got my phone on the 27th, but I didn't have this SD card installed, which makes it doubly weird (and I didn't just randomly buy this card for my Fascinate from a stranger, I've had it for awhile).
So yeah, I'm not joking/trolling, just thought I'd share. The files are attached in a zip if you're curious.

Remember, some apps and games will install sounds to the sd card, that would be my guess! Rock on!
As of 6.23.11 the license file is now downloading and working as it should.

Not really I just copied everything from the SDCard over to my old one. It appears to download the license after you sign up for the service. It doesn't seem to be downloading it. Maybe the license can't be downloaded via wifi. I will try it after it gets done downloading Spiderman.
Also so you can view 3D pictures with a NVidia Card and 3D glasses, Nice!
The movie is on the SD card. It's 1.76 GB. I haven't tried using 3g to download the license, as I haven't activated the phone yet.

All DRM has ever done was make things more difficult for non pirates, perhaps driving legitimate purchasers to piracy. The pirates aren't going to pay for it anyway and now paying customers are reluctant to as well.
I'm legitimately sad my bros are getting screwed by this, but, color me amused...yet another fail in copy protections decades long history of screwing paying customers and not even inconveniencing the evil "pirates"...

I get the same error. Can't watch it either. On top of that, I can't install anything from the market.
Same error. I figured I'd run into issues when I copied the SDCard contents. I have an extra 8GB Class 6 and replaced the included 8GB Class 4.
My Evo 4G had a Class 2.
mines getting same error. i have yet to see any 3d on this phone.

i bought a blu ray drive for my htpc.
after countless stupid ass hdcp errors, firmware issues, protection issues, etc i said **** it and have downloaded torrent 1080p rips ever since. havent purchased a blu-ray since.
I have a feeling it's due to the device not being officially "released". If you need to check out 3D video/pictures, check out the preloaded gallery photos, or search youtube for "3D". There are some cool vids out there. I also already downloaded an imax 3d movie and it looks spectacular.

So I transfered the titianium bkup file to my new sd card.. And it still needs to dl that 256mb support file our whatever to play the game.. Should I find that file on old sd card and transfer it.. Or just redownlad it from market? and after that will i still have my data from my previous phone?? i know i lost all my other game data other than my angry birds files during this swich.. and i really dont wanna lose my gun bros data... i have been trying to get an answer on this for a few days now. some1 please help me

Your GunBros data is stored in two places (on your phone and online) and is checked against each other each time you run the game. If the two saves are different it'll ask you which you want to use and discard the other. So in short download the data it's asking (it's just game data nothing to do with your save) and your save should be fine so long as you don't select the wrong one when/if prompted.

No it checks via Facebook. Like I said when you run the game after you login to Facebook it should either download your character data or ask you which you want to use.

Well I play GB and managed to hit a glitch where I lost all my levels, gold, and bro bucks which Glu never restored, but I still had all my gear. Course I reported the glitch and hopefully they've looked into it and fixed it.

Your phone reserves some memory for system functions and apps, then there's whats leftover for you (~10gbs)
Put a microSD card in that puppy and you're good to go!
Radioshacks around my area seem to have 16gb/8gb ones for ~$1.00/gb
How do you install or move apps to this 10GB? Doesn't seem to work the same as moving to my SD card. I was able to put music there by using as USB storage, but it would be cool to make it the default app install location. Any ideas of how to do this?
