It happened twice in the last couple of days!
I went to the SMS messages and they were all gone!! Deleted!
I restored some from the last backup I had performed (one month ago)
and in 2-3 days it happened again!
Could this be a virus? Could my messages be mislocated somehow?? Where should I look? What should I do??

Today I was calling someone, after the call I found all of my contacts, smses n call log no longer exists. Wat the hell??
For some reason I deleted all of my contacts from sim...now I am no where.
I restarted the ph but nothing happened..
Even I had one app for backup (named back up everything)...while I was trying to restore, it showed -there is nothing to restore
Is There Any Way I can get everything back..and where the hell these things gone ?????

I have a problem. My phone randomly rebooted today and when I go back into the phone all my recent messages have been deleted and only old messages (from a couple days ago) show up. I have Handcent installed and deleted it. When I turn off and on my phone, Handcent reappears and again only my old messages appear. Can someone please help. I don't know why Handcent keeps restoring. I am not rooted either in case it matters.

Do you have delete old messages in either the stock messaging or Handcent app?
It is a setting you can turn off, I think its on by default.
No I have that off. The strange part is that the Handcent app keeps restoring after I restart the phone. I just want it off my phone without having to wipe the whole phone.
I am running ecliptic rez 9 with Handcent but I'm not sure if either of these is the problem.
I noticed this last night when my answering service tried to page me and then called me after I didn't respond to the SMS. I rebooted my Rezound and the most recent SMS from 3 hours prior was pushed through again. I even sent myself a test SMS via vtext gateway which was blocked. Tried deleting all copies of the duplicate culprit but it persisted. Eventually, the problem just seemed to resolve itself and I'm not sure why. And the tonight, it occurred again. If I delete the last appropriately delivered message and reboot I now get 3 consecutive notifications of the same message but new messages are not received.
Oh dear something is wrong with my phone. . I can no longer receive text msgs. Last night at 7pm everything was fine. But when 3 o'clock came and no text from my daughter I got concerned and started sending her text msgs. She kept texting me back but I never got any. So I can send text msgs but cannot receive any.
I am on stock no root or anything. Did a prl and profile update with no change. . Any thoughts?

Hi everyone,
I'm about to transfer my Viber msgs to my S3, however yesterday when I turned it on the time was set to 1/1/2000 and so thus any msgs received were given that time stamp, and other msgs received this month were instead shown to be received in August. I've been using Viber on desktop and I have no idea what has happened. I've restarted the device, and updated the app to no avail.
Can anyone help me?
