Hey Folks - Can anyone help me locate the wallpaper file on my Vibrant that is part of the T-Mobile 'My Device' app on the Vibrant? Under the 'My Device' app, there is a Wallpapers folder, and at the bottom of that folder is a 'T-Mobile' Gallery folder with six wallpapers in it. Please note that the 'T-Mobile Gallery' that I'm looking for is different and separate from the standard Android Wallpaper Gallery.
I'm hoping to extract and transfer that file/folder over to a Nexus One, but I don't understand Android enough to locate the file on my Vibrant, and probably where to put it on the N1.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Why not just pull the app an place it on your n1?
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Ok, good idea, and so I just tried that, but it didnt pull the wallpapers that are visible from the My Device app that show up on the Vibrant. Still just the same N1 wallpapers after copying it over to the N1. Funny thing is that on the Vibrant, these WPs are only visible when in the My Device app not from the WP selector...so wonder where they really are, since after copying over and replacing the My Device app from the Vibrant onto my N1, the WP folder doesnt show up in My Device App (or the regular WP selector)...
Any other ideas? Thanks.

Thanks so much! You're a lifesaver (as far as a wallpaper could save a life - lol). Returned my Vibrant last night (sadly) to T-Mo before locating these WPs, so thanks for extracting them for me.
I was able to load your file into the Gallery just fine, so I now have the WP that I was wanting, but wondering if I could just plop these into the stock WP folder? I cant seem to locate that on My Nexus One (froyo). Having them in the gallery is alright, but sure would be tidy if they could go into the WP folder.

The stock wallpapers reside in the Launcher.apk in the res/drawable directory. To add new wallpapers you will need to recompile, test-sign the resource and put it back on your phone.
A big pain in the rear end in my opinion.

Why can't they make it simple? ={
thanks, i was trying to figure this out too!
Thanks for confirming that they cant simply be plopped in a folder.
That kinda sucks. I would of thought I could put a bunch of images in a folder to keep my gallery from scanning it all of the time.
I'm looking for the other wallapers from the samsung vibrant other than these. does anyone have them? I like the one with the tree.

Anyone have the NIV database for the YOUVERSION Bible app? If it follows the naming scheme of the others, it should be something like niv.1.sqlite3 possibly in either
sdcard\.youversion\
or
data\.youversion\
I got it on my old phone when they were offering it as a download, got the atrix, formatted the sd card and now I don't have the database. Anyone who downloaded it during that window willing to post it?
me also. I want the niv .sqlite3 file of YouVersion app. I lost my Nexus One which has the niv offline version. The niv offline version is not available anymore to download it into my Nexus S =(
Anybody here please share the file
Thanks
- Warner
Me, too
I'm also trying to recover my previously downloaded NIV (and NLT) versions. If anyone is willing to share, that would be great.

Me Three
I need the same thing.... I changed SD cards. My old one went bad and I lost everything.
I have both NIV and NLT sqlite3 files from my iPhone but they cause FC when I put them on my Inspire. Any ideas?
If you share the files with me, I'll stick them on my droid and see what happens. ndimmickpublic AT gmail dot com.
monsterofmen, Thanks for sharing those files. I was unable to get them to work on my Moto Droid. I copied them into the the .youversion (hidden) folder on the SD card and could then select them from the bible list. However, the app force closes every time after selecting one of the two bible you provided. I removed the files, and the app works fine again. I don't have any idea what to do next.

No problem. Hopefully someone will figure it out.

I'd love to see the files, maybe we could alter a few things in the headers to get them to work?

I've done a little investigating. It appears that the iPhone files that you guys are passing around are structurally a little different than the Android versions.
The iPhone files doesn't appear to have the verses in two different tables encoded, on the Android those two columns are encoded. I'm not sure how they are encoded though.
btw, If anyone has the Android version of the NLT Bible and wouldn't mind sharing...... Also, Thanks ndim for the file.
Hey, do you know if the niv.db would work on the blackberry? Could you please allow me to try them to find out? [email protected].... Thanks!!
If anyone would be as kind to share the android db with me [email protected] i would like to try
I still only have the iPhone versions of the NIV an NLT. I would love to get the Android versions, too. ndimmickpublic AT gmail.com.
So, Has anyone successfully added the iPhone files back to the YouVersion Bible app? Version 3.5?
I was able to open the app on my mac, but I don't see any sqlite files. If someone could shed some light on it, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks!
For iPad?
I would like to try it on my ipad2. If someone can pass me that file I can give it a try.

Ya im trying to figure out why that is. You download a JPG you want then when you scan it or scan it be4 downloading it shows it having two files. As far as I know a JPG is one file unless there is something hidden in it.
Hi,
I work at Zedge and asked the main developer about the issue.
We do not download 2 files and we're not sure why you find two files.
If you are using the recovery tool in-app and we can't find any information about one of the pictures we make a new file so we don't have to try again later. But that is only after you use the recovery-tool.
Keep us updated if you find out something more
Sincerely,
Matias

It could be that it downloads the main jpg then crops it to fit our screen thus creating two files. I like and use zedge, great app.

I'll take a pic of it . I was downloading them to my pc and noticed my AntiVirus showed the jpg having two files I thought that was weird. I was using the Microsoft AntiVirus program I always scan before downloading and opening files.
I just thought it was a odd thing . I know jpgs can contain viruses the file from zedge was clean no virus found just weird it has two files. Thanks again for lookin into it.
It's clean its a issue with windows sayin it has two files. Booted into fedora Linux and went into depth of the file all is clean no issues . Anyways thanks again.
Hey guys, got a quick question. I am new to the HTC Rezound, but not to Android in general. I am coming over from the D2G, and was wondering if I can use either Ninjamorph, or an app like it, the same way I would use it on the D2G. My goal is to change apk icons, so I can basically create the exact look and feel I want. I have read around that you can do it on a computer, but computer usage is few and far between for me.
So basically what my end goal would be is to find an image, download it to my phone, use some sort of app, and be able to alter the properties of the .apk file I am working with, so that I can change the icon thats displayed in my app drawer. Not sure if that makes sense.
I have tried to look around, and I haven't found anything saying whether this will or will not work on the Rezound, so if this has been posted elsewhere, I apologize, please just link me over.
Thanks for your help in advance!

I am also wondering if Ninjamorph or Metamorph work with the Rezound. I too am coming from a Motorola device, DX. There was another post on here asking about changing notification bar icons and I posted the question at the end of that thread. Hopefully someone has an answer
I had a d2g as well before upgrading to resound. I believe you can use ninjamorph/metamorph. Atleast to decompile/recompile the .apk. I have changed some .pngs in systemui.apk but what I did was extract all with rootexplorer, make my changes, zip it back together then rename the .zip to .apk. it worked like a charm.

I'm rooted and have root explorer so finding the location for the wallpaper should be easy.
However, I've looked online but was unable to find any reliable information as to where the wallpaper is located.
Anyone help? Thanks.
Bump. Anyone?
I actually tried to locate them, and I thought that they'd be in /system/media or something similar. I didn't look for long, but I couldn't find them, which is incredible strange I bet they're at the most obvious place though.

Hello, recently I found out about the AMAZING app Timely. It is absolutely beautiful and works great. I really love the default sounds it comes with, and would like to know if I could get one of the alarms as my ringtone. So is there a way to get the music off this app?

Any chance you could re-post that zip file? The only other way to get the sound files appears to be extracting the apk and I'm not sure I know enough to do that successfully.
You can find timely apk file on your device (in /data/app folder), select it and choose to extract (apk is a package like a zip file). All sounds in ogg format are in res/raw folder

I'm pretty crushed that they've stopped supporting Timely, it really was the greatest Alarm Clock Android has ever seen.
Personally I can't find the .apk file on my phone, but I've found a few other places on the net where it can be downloaded and extracted.
There's even a SoundCloud playlist (I can't post links yet, sorry)
The trick for Dalia (My favorite as well) is that the actual file name is "la_gitar.ogg". I had to listen to them all to find which one it was.
Several others have different names in the app versus the actual file name.
Hope this info helps others.
Cheers!
But.....
Could you tell me where you found the file? I've searched, and still can't find it
Thank you for the help! It's very sad that Timely is no longer supported, best clock app on Android, have been using it for years! 5 plus easy! But at least now I can use the alarm sound I'm used to.
