CyanogenMod on LGC660

Hello everyone.
I've an LG C600 (aka Optimus Pro).
I've a simple question - is it possible to put CyanogenMod on it? Or another modified rom? Because the stock rom is a simply crap!
Could you please answer me? Help me? Because it's my first Android and I can't find anything related to this phone on Google neither or on this forum!
Thanks!
Best regards,
Miguel
I want know too
I'm sorry for probably doing spam with this, but I'd really apreciate your information/help!
I want it soon too :/ :/
and i have a question from you bro... Do it deletes anything if you root your mobile... like contacts, messages or any app... sorry for being an Noob
If you root your mobile, nothing is deleted!
Rooting your device is, in a simple way, unlock system folders, so many apps can work with them.
But, of course, if you instal a new rom, like CyanogenMod, it probably delete everything on your device. So, to make backups, you have to root your phone and instal an app like Titanium Backup, available on market!
but is there anyway to stop few services forever after rooting the phone..i have seen few services run by LG eating tons of ram... one of them is whether while there are others too... also phone memory always remain low and app2SD does not move the app completely
thanks
Yes, it's possible! But be careful of what you remove, you can brick your phone... Apps like Facebook, apps from your carrier can be removed. But if you remove Home screen, for example, you're unable to access menu!
After root your phone (have you done yet?), install Titanium Backup (if you like it, buy it, because the paid version have many good features!), and start removing the apps you don't want! But be careful! Make backups of everything first. You can do it on Titanium Backup by going to Batch and choose "Backup all user apps + system data" before deleting something.
cyanogen would be great ! this device has 256mb of ram which is good enough
Seriously, someone do something. This phone needs a new ROM. I can hardly multitask programs on this phone, low memory, it lags sometimes, it needs some serious tweaking if possible. Also does anyone know an easy way to root this phone...I ain't a developer

If you've done some forum research, you'd find this tutorial:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1222630
It's quite simple! Remember just something, on the echo command, make sure you put a space after number 1.
So, the adb commands are:
adb devices (enter)
adb shell (enter)
echo 1 > /data/local/lge_adb.conf (press enter)
I really like this! I allways help when people needs help... I think i'm very kind, but not one 'thank you!', nothing!
So nice - not!

Unable to boot into recovery to backup/change ROMS
Can the experts from this forum help the 'LG Optimus Pro C660' users with the issue of not being able to boot into recovery/bootloader to create a nandroid backup.
As users have already posted here, every time we try to boot into recovery through the following ways...
1. Rom Manager
2. Key Combinations (Vol Up/Dn + Home + Power button)
3. Quickboot App
4. A command through the ADB Shell
All the above has resulted in a factory default restore. A green Android'bot appears for a second and so, and the phone is restored to factory settings.
Please Help !!!!!!!
PS : Seems like the Bootloader/recovery needs to be cracked for this LG Optimus Pro C660.
thanks,

Ok so Here is a link to Cyanogen Mod 7 which is a custom rom for all New xperia's imo probably the best custom rom out there. This will require you to have an unlocked boot loader on your phone.
Your second option is to root your device and remove the systems apps you dont like with titanium backup available off the android market.

1. Just use flashtool to flash a stock firmware for your handset. FlashTool
2. As for multiboot im not sure sorry.
3. You can use titanium backup and try, although its not garunteed to work.
4. If you are planning to flash cm7 it will be pre-rooted after the flash. all you need is unlocked boot loader.
Just have in mind that if you unlock your bootlocker (wich is essential if you are planing to put CM) you gonna lose your warranty.
About task manager, you can use Advanced task killer, who is avaliable at android market for free. There u can manage what process you want to leave running and wich one you want to be killed.
With rooted phone you can uninstall some of the system programs, just like Facebook
Here is the thread about unlocking:

So basically if i use this tool i want lose warranty as far as i dont touch bootlocker????
I downloaded some task managers of the market but when i kill apps they restart automaticaly.
One more question.
If i root it uninstall apps via titanium can i restore the apps by wipeing the phone???
THX
Yes, that is correct. You wont lose your warranty as long as you don't touch bootlocker. And with that tool I linked to you, you can easily root your phone and unroot it when ever you like (tested myself).
Some applications will always return back to process tree, simple as, thats how they work
For example, facebook is always in background to notify you about notifications and those things, even if you didn't set up an facebook account, he will always be in background.
That's stupid, I know, but that doesn't suck your battery or similar.
You can always restore all Google applications with ClockworkMod recovery.
Here's the link for CWM:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1345741
And here is the link for google applications:
http://goo-inside.me/gapps/
Lets get rid of the stupid things.
First of all there is a data notification whenever you boot the phone.(how to pooooooof its gone)
second there is notification when i turn on gps that might be some internet trafic involved. (if i turn off data plan is there posibily some internet trafic going on) is it gps or only agps?
third i know this phone is storeing all data how do i read it any viewer?

[Q] Need a reboot or restart phone app

Does any one know an app which can reboot the android app on a scheduled time?
My samsung galaxy ace keeps on hogging the memory over a period of time and becomes slow.
If i can get an app which can reboot my phone everyday automatically, then I think my memory issue will be solved.
I tried using appkiller, task killer, fast reboot and similar apps. Though it clears the ram, but it will not be as good as rebooting.
If this app is not yet there in the market, then I think this is a good app to be developed.
Developers out there, would you like to give a try?
-Thanks
Shree

As I have mentioned in my initial question itself, I need an app which actually restarts the phone and not kill the app/process and restart them.
Also I have tried this app and it is not helping me.
You could use a script with Script Manager that reboots the phone and set it on a schedule. I do this with the V6 Supercharger script, there's an option that wipes dalvik then reboots. When you run it, an individual script that does only that is created and you can then put it on a schedule.
You can download the script here - all this does is wipe dalvik cache then reboot. Download Script Manager and find the script with the browser. When you click on it, make it look like this: run as root, configure as favorite, and is script should be checked. In SM's settings, I have the favorites screen open by default. Select menu then scheduler and set up a schedule for it to run. You can download SM widgets and create a shortcut or widget for it and do it whenever you want if that'd be easier.
If you need further assistance or if the script doesn't work feel free to pm me, I can send you screenshots of the process if it'll help.

Hi Thomas,
I had real problem to stop programs on system-start.
I tried several programs to disable auto-start-programs even one paid. Soem program is running as service and some just run once.
Stop, disable, might cause the system not able to start. That is why I am no longer doing that, Now I disable only the definitive programs like the Novel or game. dont touch anything possible has anything to do with system...
why dont u just reinstall everything? you have everything backuped on your google account right?
good luck!
Ram manager or rom manager???
Sent from my E10i using xda app-developers app
in rom manager i see there is an option for u20i... is it safe for us to use the option? or can it bricked our device (u20i/x10mp/mimmi)?

[HELP] tasker is killed every 30 min

Hi all,
i've made a stupid thing.
I've found this article:
xxx.androidworld.it/forum/guide-e-tutorial-11/%5Bguida%5D-come-abilitare-android-doze-sulle-rom-miui-211382/#post1722713
where there is a tutorial to activate doze on miui.
i downloaded the framework-res and place it in system/media/theme/default.
reboot
then i find that every 30 minutes of screen off, apps went killed, but tasker too, and i need tasker always active.
then i delete the framework-res and reboot it.
after that, every 30 minutes of screen off, apps are killed too, tasker too.
then i try to install over the miui ita, the new build of miui ita, but nothing changes.
how can i make tasker always active?
sorry for my poor english.
db
Hello.
In miu you can add you app in the energy option.
parameters -> battery and performance -> 'manage battery for application'
Sorry for my poor English too haha
tnx Xpresso38,
but the problem is that tasker is in the list of apps with no limitation by miui
sorry i don't know how help you so.
I've just made a full wipe and reinstall the miui ita.
i've tried gobal rom, but i've found that is not a rooted rom, with supersu (then no tasker, xposed, xmiui...).
damned
thx xpresso38 for all.
