Anything like ShopShop iPhone app for Android? - Vibrant Themes and Apps

I was very happy with this app:
http://nschum.de/apps/ShopShop/
and I simply cannot find something like this for Android.
All other apps do something I don't really need (like sync with google/online/share) and don't do the simplest two things that every shopping list app just must do, namely manual drag and drop sort of the items and remembering items you've entered and offering the suggestions next time you add a new items.

I use list master. My favorite part is it does voice input so when I need to go shopping I just talk into my phone.

You can try Grocery IQ. You can't drag and drop items, but you can customize the aisle order for individual stores. It also has a favorites list so you can quickly add the items you buy most often back to your active shopping list.

[Q] people app

I added a new contact today (time warner) and I noticed that I had options to save the number as company main, car, radio, assistant as well as the usual home, work, etc..
When I go to edit an existing contact these new (to me anyhow) options are not there.
Is there a way to get them there?
I think it may be handy to be able to save company numbers in their own category and I already have quite a few saved as contacts
Looks like it depends on the type of contact that you save it as. Exchange provides all the options. Google has most and the phone even less. Least options is the SIM.
Where are you saving them to?
I just looked and the time warner contact says phone and some others say google. So I guess that explains it.
Thanks

Best email app? POP and gmail?

I'm looking for a basic but functional email app for pop and gmail. The only requirement is really support for pop accounts and gmail. Live account support would be a plus but not required. Also it needs to clean up after itself. Like when I delete an email instead of leaving it in the trash I want it to empty them. Don't want it to ever delete emails from server unless I specify it in settings.
OK. I just named a bunch of requirement. LOL
By the way, free or really cheap also. Whatever the default email app in Task 14 Fat is haa all my wanted options except for emptying the trash when I exit it or even if I could just press one button to empty all trash it would be great.
TIA

I've yet to find an email app on tablet that I would like. I use inomail on my samsung galaxy s2 phone but it doesn't work as well on tablet. I've tried k9, maildroid, moxier mail, kaitlen mail, enhanced mail, stock email and touchwiz. I want something similar to email app on my iPad but haven't found anything so far. All the email clients I've used works but I didn't like the ui.

Can I suggest an alternative that makes the gmail app better, and makes email much easier to work with?
Instead of having the app aggregate your different email addresses, have gmail do it. I have 7 addresses (work, school, personal, spam, other work, old, and really old). Gmail checks the pop addresses every 10 minutes or so, the others just forward. Then I set a filter for each (to:[email protected]) to tag it. Make the tags different colors. When you load up the gmail app, you'll see the tags (so you can immediately see which email address it's coming from). Advantages: 1) never mess with more than one email address no matter what computer/phone/tablet you use; 2) shared address book; 3) security; 4) ease of use; 5) awesomeness.
You know what? I've thought about it for a while now, so I'll make a how-to post about it. I'll link when I finish.
A how to would be sweet. I also use too many email addresses so this sounds like a wonderful idea. I've just been figuring out too too many thing lately to really want to hop about this without complete reference in one place. Thanks mate for the idea even if you dinner get around to the how to.

[Q] App similar to OurGrocery that can also sync with a PC

I am looking for a app that can do a few things. I want to make a to-do list, and / or a grocery list. It needs to be able to install and sync between more than one android and a pc.
I want to be able to goto the grocery with my lady and both have the app open. When we find a item either of us checks it off, it syncs with the app on the other phone and is marked completed. Also I want to be able to make the list from my pc at home. Basically ourgroceries does all this except for the home pc part.
Anyone know a app that will fit the bill?

Short answer Evernote has this feature but it is not obvious. Other apps also mentioned for those interested.

Looking for app to keep personality profiles of people that allows for custom fields

Looking for an app where i can create information on people i play against at poker. I want to be able to profile each player and have custom fields to which i can make a custom dropdown or have a text box. For example, want different fields for name, loose/tight, preflop, notes, etc etc. The only poker tracking app I ser that is close is poker agent, and in that most of the profile fields are for physical features. I cannot find a contact app that allows for custom named fields. Any help is appriciated.

Try a note app. Or maybe a better memory?

Also looking
I just spent 40 minutes looking for a way I could attach a personality profile, or a SWOT analysis to my contacts... No go. It would be great if I could call up a local mindmap (using mindjet or my Titanium-saved version of Thinking Space Pro) or file link that could open when they call, or open from the google contact..... I would pay money for it.
My memory could always use prompting

App picker needs to get a lot smarter and flexible

Sorry, the app picker falls several light years short for me in two specific fields - messaging and calling. If I select "always" in one of those cases this selection gets applied across all my contacts. Sorry, that's just daft.
I'll give you an example: I have Zoiper, Skype and WhatsApp installed on my phone. Now when I send somebody a message, I want to use WA for those as have it, Skype for those as have it and be able to select a preference for those cases where somebody has both. Also, if my preference is Skype, but person is not logged in, it should be smart enough to then go WA. If I am roaming or my data connection is disabled for other reasons, it should use SMS. It's called a Smartphone by Jove! Currently I feel like I am in the 70s. the device is that daft.
Similar rules apply for calls.
Oh and also I want to be able to make this choice individually for every contact, either rule based, as outlined above, or just on my personal whim. And I want to be able to override said choice on a case-by-case basis, or permanently, again based on my personal whim. Double tapping in order to avoid making an idiotic and not easily reset general setting is a kludge at best.
For a sec, I was wondering what the heck app picker was.
Yeah, it probably needs to be updated to a more convenient and smarter way. I wonder how the less advanced users get through processes like that. Seriously, if I were an 80 year old grandpa, I would not know how to manage the app picker for sure.
