guys, does any of you have an O2 XDA 2 ROM for asian edition? I badly need a ROM with smart auto config. O can't avtivatre my mms/ GPRS.
BTW, I am using an Imate Pocket PC (himalaya)

I saw people success to port WM6.1 to iPAQ 68xx series because it has similarity to Quantas ATOM Series..
iPAQ is famous for 1 OS version for the rest of your life.
You have to keep up with One Single version OS until the end of time.

Hi, i`ve got the german xda-star bis the latest origin winmo 6.1 htc-rom. htc has for the european region an 100 decibel-border included in the rom. when i use my mobile in louder areas, maybe at a party, the phone`s earspeakers noice are to low. is there any registry-hack to solve this problem.
in the moment i installed the software-tool hd-tweak, but a haven't tested i yet.
i would be great, i anybody has an idea.

In my opinion the ROM version does not matter, because you are there can give any custom ROM that suits you the most (on the net or this forum are many guides how to do it). You chose differently by price and chiefly by the seller of positive feedback. Distributor who has about 99% of the positive-going feedback can be measured reliably. I bought this phone from pandawill.com (etotalk is good too). On alliexpress may be some fakes.

I dont remember which ROM was there when I bought this phone (but I know there was some ROW multi language ROM) because now I have changed to custom ROM because I preffered pure android.
I am using ROM : LiFe 0.7 (Its a pure android). http://forum.xda-developers.com/lenovo-p780/development/life-rom-lenovo-p780-t2666626 This ROM is in English (not problem for me, I am Slovak, but understand english) , but when U use app more locale most of installed app will be in selected language.
VIBE rom feels like an IOS ripoff (at least VIBE 1.5)
The interface is not Android-user intuitive, and the icons look childish.
Also, I noticed that VIBE doesn't work with a magnetic case.
If you prefer the more standard Android interface, don't choose VIBE I'd say.
But it's very easy to flash anything else on the phone

My sister bought a silver one from lenovo-lephone.com and it seems in good quality. The ROM version is more universal.

I wanted to buy Japanese flip phone Sharp SH-01J, but I've read on auctions that it's Android 5.1.1 and no longer updatable (probably because of Docomo network, which stopped supporting it).
Anyway, I can't find any official or custom ROM for this phone. Maybe it's behind Japanese language barrier on the internet.
Could someone advice with this phone? I need atleast android 6+. I'm not sure if just AOSP or something like LineageOS will be functional without many adjustments in code.
