[Q] Metamorph problems

Hello
I have a rooted htc legend running cm7 with data2ext enabled. I have downloaded metamorph from the market, but when i run it and it does a scan/check. i get the following error
"Some files could not be set up. Please make sure you have enough free space in /system"
But when i check in root explorer, it says there is ~90 mb free in /system.
i also have busybox installed since i am using titanium backup which works properley.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks :-D
You don't need metamorph in CM7. There is Theme Manager installed.

[REQ] BusyBox v1.19.0

Hi! Can someone post a working compiled version of BusyBox v1.19.0 please.
If not, maybe someone can help me because I'm having trouble compiling it. I keep getting an error when it reaches "miscutils/ubi_tools.o"
I'd really appreciate it...
Thanks!
I used BusyBox Installer (from the Market) to install v1.19. Can you pull the compiled version off the phone once it's been installed?
Yeah dude try the market. 1.19 should work though I'm using 1.18 cuz I don't see the point of upgrading.
It should be in /system/bin/ or /system/xbin/
Thanks!

My ROM has Superuser included......
yes you can run the old SU but make sure you do the switch right, it should be in the description on how to do it so you dont "unroot" yourself
Lol I'm glad you guys posted 1st. I was about to look silly by recommending a command terminal application. .

according to jrummy you can have both SU and SUperuser installed but only 1 should be handling the persmissions. if you want the old SU uninstall the binaries from the new SUperuser app and then install the binaries on the old one. and vice versa

Hmm... Google could be your friend here, but I will humor you...
http://www.busybox.net/ and see the About and FAQ sections
busybox is a collection of utilities/programs, and in an Android phone, 99.99% of users will never use them directly, but phones that are rooted need a way to be able to call simple Linux tools that are not part of the normal Android distribution, and busybox gives them access to these commands/tools/utilities. It is often installed in with a superuser application package, along with su, and it's managing application interface. To access busybox directly you would probably need to have a terminal emulator installed.
The real question is what are trying to do that you need to access busybox directly?

i got it partly..thnx :cyclops:
I think all ROMs have busybox built into the os. So there no need to use any of them from the play-store

No offense man but you've been asking some pretty basic questions here in your threads, try the search here and/or google, you'll turn up plenty. We are always happy to help, a lot of the basic info is already been posted many times though.

Hello, i have a LG G2 Verizon model, i have actually just recently rooted my phone. I do not have busybox? What does it do?
Well then you are missing Busybox. I advise you to do some Google search and get to know what Busybox is and install a custom rom because it will come with all the necessary stuff needed to run dSploit without any problems.
By the way I have subscribed this topic so in case you need further help let me know and I'll help you
Another thing:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1914699
This is the official topic of dSploit. Read it
