[Q]Transparent issues.

My phone has transparent issues. I'm running superclean 2.6. My icons are transparent but as soon as I set them up on my phone. It doesn't recognize it as transparent you can see the icon background . Even my notification drop down bar isn't transparent either. So I'm not sure if its the phone not detecting transparent or what. Please help.

Gonna need a little more info than that. What Theme are you running. The transparancy is determined by that.
I'm using launcher pro. You know how you can change the bottom dock icons? I've been using same set icons. Droid icons and on my x they were always transparent. Now I set this this phone it shows the icon background.

You mean like the icon background you see in touchwiz app drawer? Never seen that on launcherpro...

Yea. I'm not sure why my icon docks wont recognize it as transparent. I can see the icon I set up including the background black color. Wish I could link a pic.

This thread contains lots of info on editing the status bar. There is also a thread called [Resources] - Theming ... in the Atrix Themes and Apps section that will give helpful info on how to get to the files you need to edit.

Program For Battery Icon, Clock and Status BarTweeks

there is a program installed on some roms that allows you to install a skinny battery icon, remove the clock in the bar up top and change the colors and text of how the percentage is displayed in the top bar. What program is this and where can I get it?
Running CM7 nightlies.
You can try using romans cm7 trigger redux build. Its tweaked to do most of that I think. but im not for sure my phone hates cm7

Status Bar Icons

Using Rom Toolbox with the galaxy s2 my choices of icons are limited. Because of that, I want to know if anyone has figured out how to replace the 5 Signal bar icon and ( rom toolbox only has 4 bars) the sound icon with a slash, the H+ icon, 3g icon and Edge icon. Even though rom toolbox has a 3g one it doesn't replace the default one. Also, anyways to get a differnt signal bar color?

For the signal bar u can go onto uot kitchen and mess with it. U can also get apk tool and decompile systemUI.apk, and go into drawable-hdpi and the icons will be there, and u can edit them using a photo editor like gimp.

The network icons start with - stat_sys_data
The signal strength bars start with - stat_sys_signal

Look at the how-to section. You'll have to spend time navigating, learning the site, and how to use it. UOT kitchen is as easy as it's going to get. It's really simple once you get a feel for it. Otherwise, you can replace the icons manually. Again, seemingly much at first, but really simple after some time. In my signature, I have linked a post I made about making these changes. At first glance, you might want to run away, but it gives STEP BY STEP instructions.
K, I will. Also does anyone have the default at&t gs2 status bar icons? I backedup my statusbar when it was modded by accident

Did everthing and did not get the stock vibrate icon or wifi signal back.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I777
vibrate icon as well as the wifi signal are located in systemUI.apk not framework-res.apk, so changing the framework-res file will not fix your problem
Where can I locate the system.apk?
