[Q] Legacy>HTC Whitestone> Dual Boot from SIM

First off, Im very nervous to post here. Im afraid Im posting int the wrong forum or some how asking questions in the wrong ways.. Regulars tend to get mad when us newbies get confused as to where to post our questions.
Ive searched and searched the various forums and threads for a solution to my question and have had no luck.
I have seen here androidonhtc.com, about booting the android os from your sim card, etc. And here youtube.com/watch?v=xQUICjVhfAY, of the dual booting.
I realize that the HTC Imagio, isn't a top phone choice and there isnt much development on ROMs (Even tho I dont think the dual boot has anything to do with cooked ROMS) and whatnot. However, I just want to know if this is possible on my little Imagio or not.
Ive looked and looked without results and Im hoping very much one of the regulars here would just flat out tell me if its possible so that I can further dive into making my white stone as good as it can be until I upgrade.
Thank you in advance and sorry if Ive offended by posting somewhere I shouldn't or asked what seems to be stupid questions.

Device keeps booting into recovery

Hey guys, I'm not sure why but my prime keeps booting into recovery mode. I read some posts here on the site but most of them refer to phones and talk about removing the battery which isn't really an option here.
I've tried completely shutting it down. Cleared the cache/dalvik cache. I even tried restoring to a recent nandroid. The restore completes without a problem, but it still reboots right back into recovery.
What are my options here?
Thanks guys.
are you rooted & unlocked? if so, there's a fix in prime developement section for bootlooped prime. check out bricked prime thread by Diamondback. post your issue in there.

Yes I am rooted and unlocked. I'll check out that thread, I appreciate it a lot!
It's very nice of demandarin to have answered your query, but I have to ask, did you even read any of the stickies in any of the sections of the Prime Forum before posting?
I'm sorry for venting at you, as you were extremely polite in asking your question, but I do despair these days, I really do.
Well first off, that thread worked great, it's booting properly as we speak. (Thanks again!)
Secondly, the reason I didn't really go into development because I didn't think it was a question for them. I would have never even thought of reading a "bricked" thread because I always thought a bricked device was completely unresponsive.
Like I said in my original thread, I did search for the problem, but without keywords like "bootloop" or "brick" (neither which I was searching for), I would't have found what I was looking for.
All in all it looks like this forum once again did exactly what it was meant to do. Which is not only help someone in technical need, but also teach them a little more about the device in question.

Again, I apologise for venting a little. I'm happy that you found what you needed, and I'm glad that you feel that you've learned something. I'm just getting horribly cynical in my old age.
You get thanks for actually taking the time to learn.

[Q] Fixing ROM from Logcat

Hi,
I need to know how to find out where to fix errors that appeared in my logcat. For example: In ROM does not work sensor key "HOME". How do I find in the long text an error. And how do I fix an error. Please advise me...
Thanks for the replies...
Sorry for my bad English
??
No one can answer the question? No one know? This is Chef central android "Learn to develop", no? I really wanted to learn this.

You are too vague. You also fail to see that people have lives outside of sitting on a forum. How about to leave this thread alone, you go back and do some work and research yourself. Then come back and post everything you have tried and where you are stuck. Coming here and demanding support and putting down people who did spend the time to figure the system is a slap in the face. Like I said. Come back when you have done a little bit more research on your end.

[Q] Black Screen, not found in Odin. Help requested

Hello,
So, I've got my Samsung S II that I actually got for a guy for being bricked.
The phone got in to bootloader, recovery et.c but stuck.
So I started up ODIN and followed some steps here given on the forum.
Very strange things happened, ODIN stuck while trying to "flash" it, and took about 12 hours before the program actually crashed.
Now I have a bricked phone.
Totally Black Screen (doesn't matter with combos for VOL UP/DOWN + HOME + POWER)
No logos, nothing, just black.
Warm battery (tested with another one)
On the back it says:
Model: GT-I9100
SSN: -I9100GSMH
Swedish sold phone, used to have Telia/Halebop as a sim if that's any help.
At the first 2-3 times after the "failure" of Odin-flashy thingy I could actually see the phone.
Now I can't see it at all in Odin (tried v3.07,v3.06,v3.04,v1.85,v1.83) without finding the unit at all.
Phone is not recognized in Device-manager, doesn't matter which "combo" I use.
And NO, Samsung Kies is uninstalled, I've reinstalled the drivers, still nothing.
Any Windows-related problem? (Linux might work(?), if so, how?).
or is it just bricked and I will need to get a JTAG, or create my own (3x100ohms resistors connected to micro usb => plug in to phone?).
Best regards,
This will be a present for my girlfriend, and I really want this **** to work.
Best wishes, Andreas
Dont tell me you bothered to search because you're a liar!
This 100000% exact situation has already been asked/answered and discussed to infinity so there is absolutely no need whatsoever for yet another topic simply to duplicated topics that already exist.
Yes it can be a ***** to have a bricked phone but that doesn't mean you can just create yet more clutter on forum

I've searched the forums; no-one that I could find, I could search bad, even the suggested threads didn't even make it to my level of "brick".
Thanks for such a warm greeting.
And I've tried to come up with so many things that I can relate to the problems and ways I've tried.
So maybe some help and start being polite.

No, I haven't. Why would I say I have searched and not have?
Instead of harassing and complaining, make an effort to solve the problem.
Hum...he doesn't work for you, I din't either, but he was trying to tell you that you now got a brick.
150 bucks, mobo replacement.
Don't be cheap, it for your gf.
Pay up.
