hi,
i have a problem with my hd2 (latest standard htc-rom 1.66.407.1 german, no mods, etc.): while screen rotation works fine on htc sense album view and sense music-player, it doesn't on email or sms functions. it simply doesn't rotate into landscape mode, not even while typing on the keyboard.
any ideas to fix this behavior?

have a vzw touch pro running mighty rom 4.12...with htcsensor and gconfig installed album rotates when I turn the phone, but then rotates back to the original orientation...opera rotates fine, calculator rotates fine and google maps rotates fine..(these are all the apps on my whitelist)
does anyone have any clues? if I remove album from the whitelist, album does not rotate...any clues? thank you for any help
edit: the album rotation works fine in gallery view but only when actually viewing the pictures does it rotate, then rotate back to its starting orientation

As wm6.5 via titanium offers a great UI even for landscape, and as the qwerty/z keys are really small in portrait mode i'm looking for an application that would switch screen orientation to landscape on sliding the keyboard in and to portrait when sliding out (in fact it actually changes to portrait, when i'm sliding the keyboard out, thats why i need something that changes sr to landscape when i slide back in)...
Anyone knows some app?

Hey everybody,
I'm running NFSFAN's latest ROM for my Bell Touch Pro and auto rotation on Manila (and everything else) seems to be working just fine EXCEPT that after I use my dialer, it stops working.
Now, I can soft reset the phone and everything works as it should. I can also open another program (like slingplayer or tomtom) and autorotation kicks in again. When I exit out of that program autorotation on manila also kicks back in.
I tried enabling autorotation on the dialer and that works until I use the dialer to make a call. Then it stops working on that program as well.
Any ideas would be awesome.

I'm guessing it's because you are using the Tachi dialer which doesn't support landscape and just messes up and switches back to portrait.
The stock WM dialer will let you use auto rotation.

Thanks dwizzy. That doesn't seem right to me though. The dialer actually does switch to landscape (the keypad disappears and is replaced just by call history) just fine. It's like only after I make a call that the auto-rotation stops working.

first of all: I hope you understand my poor english...
I've a problem, tried to search but didn't find a solution...
I don't want to make a Hard-reset, so...please...help me if you know how to solve it...
The problem is I tried the landscape mode for manila-sense by installing an app..something like "rotate landscape" or "enable landscape" or something similar.
The landscape mode worked perfectly but it replaced the default animation on music and album tabs when these two tabs rotate and I didn't like this behaviour.
So I decided to uninstall the "enable landscape" cab but now the music and album tabs don't rotate anymore.
How can I re-activate the default animation on these two tabs?

So, nobody knows how to restore the default landscape animations on these two damned tabs without an hard-reset??
I don't believe it...so please help me.
What I really try to realize is to have Sense with landscape support but the default landscape animation on music tab and on photo-video (album) tab.
Is it possible? If not, I would turn back to the previous setting, with no landscape for Sense-UI but with the default landscape animation on music tab and album tab.
Anyone, kindly, can help me to do this?

i use my phone quite a lot for navigation. i have igo 8.3 installed on it. i use it in landscape. when i receive a call the incoming call screen appears in portrait and it's a little bit hard to see who's calling. is there a solution for that? i mean to be able to turn the incoming call screen to landscape automatically?
You can rotate everything on the HD2.

l3onard just use BSB Tweaks forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=589305 and you can manage what programs you want to be landscape and what programs you want to just be portrait or have it all programs portrait and landscape. i hope this help
