Hi there,
I've been trying to figure out how to set an entry in the calendar so that it shows on the front (unlock) screen?
I've tried turning off alarms for it + changing catagories with no luck (some seem to display there and some don't.
I usually use the Agenda One calendar, but also could not get it working with HTC's one either.
Thanks for any help, as it's frustrating.
With the stock windows lockscreen, calendar entries only show for tomorrow's date. Anything further, will not appear until the day before.
Thanks for the reply, but simetimes mine displays the entry upto 3 days before + other times not at all.

Hi,
I'm running ROM UK1.72.110.4 on my HTC HD2.
I'm experiencing a problem wherein whilst my Calendar entries appear on the Today screen through HTC Sense, whereas once I could press the displayed Calendar entry and be taken directly to the Calendar app - now pressing it does nothing. No error, but no Calendar app either.
The calendar app loads if accessed via the HTC Tab, or via Outlook in the menu structure - but not directly from the Homepage.
I've tried turning off HTC sense and then re-enabling it - but no joy.
Anybody experienced this irritation, and/or have any suggestions to offer to restore this functionality?
Regards,
Richard Tubb.
Just in case anyone ever experiences the same issue - I sussed that the reason the calendar didn't work is due to the fact I'd removed the Calendar link from the Home Screen tabs!
Once I'd enabled the Calendar link on the Home Screen tabs, the Calendar button on the Home Screen itself started working again.
I hope this helps anyone else who is baffled by this issue in the future!

Richard Tubb
I got syncing working between Outlook and the Google Calendar site ... so I can see all my events and such on the Google Calendar website.
What isnt working is the sync with my Tab 10.1 ... I can see the calendar name on the Tab (and it changes on the Tab almost immediately when I change the calendar name on the website) but none of the events ever sync down to the device.
I've tried removing my google account and setting it back up, tried just turning sync on/off, tried powering off/on ... any one else having this issue and/or solved it? Thanks.
I am having the same exact issues you are. When I'm out and about I set all my calander events on my evo. Non of them however transfer over to my tab. I made sure auto sync is on and even tried manually hitting the sync button but no dice. Its easier to view mybdaynahead on my tab. Hopefully next update take all GT 10.1s from a beta feel to a solid feel. On my second GT10.1 already :-(
" hang on to your dookie, its about to get spooky "
So between this issue and a few others I factory reset my SGT last night and magically the Google Calendar is working perfectly now (so far). :-/
Not sure if my answer apply, but I sync with exchange and that work fine at least.
I think I'm having the same issue, or at least I'm sure that the calendar widgets don't show all the synched appointments in my calendars...

the calendar widget is garbage, because it only displays your events for the week. download WIZZ from the market, it has a much better agenda widget.
Hi All,
I finally flashed a few ROMs today and liking how it is going (exchange works!). I like the way the calendar displays on Synergy (shows the daily appointments without me having to press anything) - whereas the latest Th3oryrom shows me a 30 day calendar and i have to press the day to show the appointments (agenda view).
Is there a way to show the agenda view first? I'd like to keep trying a few more ROMs, but i really like the way Synergy shows it.
Thanks in advance!

Do a long press on screen, add widget, add calendar, use calendar 2/3 it will show you daily appointments. I am using Cl3anTh3ory
Sent from my Gingeritis free phone, its now Cl3an
Open calendar, hit menu, more, settings, calendar view settings, start in, and pick agenda. In cl3an or nons3nc3

Thank you for such quick replies. Some issues with both responses though.

I do this, but it doesn't show anything different (using the HTC calendar). It was already set this way - one click on the calendar heading and it goes to agenda view. I just want agenda view to be on the main screen - not the 30 day view.
Calendar, menu, more, calendars make sure exchange is checked if you want an exchange calendar to sync.
Also check the colanders syncing in your accounts.
I use HTC and it syncs with my Google. Use calendar 2/3 for your whole day by day agenda. Make sure to select it as widget.

I follow these instructions to the letter, but I can't get it to show the agenda view as the main widget screen. I appreciate the effort, but maybe my phone is messed or it can't be done the way i want it. I can provide screen caps if needed I suppose, but i'd have to reflash synergy just to get it. Thanks again!

Maybe i went about this the wrong way.... is there a "calendar 2/3" widget that is supposed be showing up in my widget options (not that i see one there)?
I noticed that on my lockscreen it only shows appointments for one of my Google calendars (I don't have this one checked to show) and not any of the ones I do have checked.
I dont have this calendar checked in the calendar app or the lockscreen settings.
I tried selecting a different one and removing the account it still shows like this.
Also txt msgs on the lock screen and in the app show the persons phone number, I don't see any option to show their name instead. Is there one I missed or some hack for this? All of my contacts are Google contacts.
Both things make me think there's something up with my Google account.
Figured this I've out. Clearing the data for HTC Sense fixed it.
Also it looks like the lock screen style for Productivity is bugged and only shows the contacts phone number instead of name, the others work fine.
This is quite frustrating and I can't seem to find a solution to this. I have birthdays and anniversaries entered for my contacts which are sync'd to my phone as well. Most of the birthdays and anniversaries show up in my calendar on my phone but some don't. Doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason to it either. I noticed that on my HTC Evo LTE I can go to Calendar and specify which calendars it displays. Inside here there is the 'Contacts birthday's & Events' like what I have displayed on my Google Calendar on my PC and the color is yellow. The interesting part is that there is another calendar option called 'People' that is green and I think is an HTC Sense thing but am not 100% on this. The interesting part is that if I choose to display this all of my contact's dates are displayed in duplicate but some extra ones also display.. the ones that don't display on my yellow calendar. One might think the simple solution would be to uncheck the yellow one and check the green one and be done with it but there are also dates that show up on the yellow calendar that don't show up on the green one. The weird part is they BOTH take info from the same source so I don't understand this difference. I went through my contacts making sure they were all added to my 'Friends' group as I think this may have something to do with what events show and what not but it doesn't seem to help.
What gives? What am I doing wrong or what options should I be looking for to correct this? I've already missed a couple anniversaries and b-days a result and it's frustrating because when I realize I missed it I go to my contacts and there it is listed within the contact info but it never displayed in the calendar for some reason.
Someone who knows the calendars please help me out with this problem.
Anyone?
If anyone else has this issue I was able to uncheck the calendars that were currently selected, back out to let it refresh and then go back in and check them once again to get it to work. I'll keep my eye on it and see if it stays fixed but after backing back out the second time there were birthdays there that weren't prior to this little dance. If you're having this issue try giving that a shot.

Works for me, thanks!
Thanks for this thread! I can't believe 2 years later this problem is still occurring with Android (I'm on 4.4.2).
I experience this problem anytime I add a contact's birthday (or another date) to my contacts. In order for it to show up on my calendar, I need to select "Calendars to sync" in calendar settings, then uncheck "Contacts' birthdays & events", back out to the calendar, then go back into "Calendars to sync" and re-select "Contacts' birthdays & events". Once I back out to the calendar again it refreshes within a few seconds and the new date(s)/event(s) finally appear on the calendar.
Just performing those steps in the "Calendars to display" menu doesn't work.
