hey there, im currently facing a problem with my hd2 as by freezing and becoming unresponsive. It sometimes just sits and opens applications as it wants or just hangs.
what i have tried to do is hard reset a couple of times with no luck
upgraded to the latest software version available still no luck
removed my storage card tried using it without it also no luck
what do u guys think the problem is? P.S I am installing some themes might it be the problem? although that i used to use them before this problem occured?

Hi guys... try to search and google for an answer to my problems but cant find the solutions..
problems : let say i turn on my hd2 at 1.00 pm on12/08/10....
and at 1.30 pm on 13/08/10 i turn off the phone and replace the battery with fresh one .. turn it on... the clock will show the time and date as 1.00pm 12/08/10...
time will be reset back to time i on the phone on the first time and it will continue the cycle...
try hard reset but the bugs still there... clear all my apps.. clean phone... bugs still there....
my phone using stock ROM 1.48,702... everything is stock...
itsx all start after i do some tweaking & installing apps which i hv uninstall now.. but the problemis still there,,..

HTC service Center advised the following :
1. Take out sim card and storage card to eliminate the error tht maybe caused by this 2 items... i've done it... and restart... walaaa... like a charm it works...
But on fine fine day i install cab file... then the old problem again haunted my hd2...
tried the above methods.. this its no longer worked..
Fed-up, i just let it be like that... then on one fine day.. I install another cab file... CHT and CHT Editor to be exact... walaaa... the old problem eliminated.. hv install/uninstall few cab file after tht (analog clock cab file).. so far everything still ok..
I would like to refresh this topic.
It started to happen to me like month ago from no special reason. I use SD Android build, so with every restart to go back to WM, time/date changes from couple minutes to couple weeks to both directions.
Hard reset did not help. Another ROM flashed did not help.
It seems to occur only when rebooting Android -> WM. WM -> WM reset direction mostly OK. Battery-out almost always changes time/date.
Just a thought: Is there any kind of "CMOS battery" like in PC motherboards, that can be weak/broken in the HD2?
Any advice appreciated

I've got the same problem using Omega rom v30. It's solved easily enough by using sptimesync to get the exact time. What's your rom? I'm gonna flash and see if anything changes
My ROM is:
WM- HD2O
Android - MccM HD V6
This is also happening to me. It's happened before and it somehow corrected itself, but it's really annoying me at the moment. Any ideas as to the cause? Running WM6.5 ROM, stock 3.14. Not running android at all.

i was using android 2.2
everthing went well but after some time touch failed sometimes when i go to my lock screen
i removed all the data from my memory card regarding android ,,,
now i am using the windows 6.5 (original )and every time i go to lock screen , the touch fails !!!!!!!!!!!

you guys tried to use a different roms ? of wm or android ? ... i got problem almost the same i changed my windows mobile rom then changed or re-installed my android and worked everything fine
This was posted a while ago but I had the same problem. I thought it was from the many different rom changes I have done so I stripped the phone and put it back to day one and it was still doing the same thing. It even does it while using the phone and I will have to lock it and then unlock it to get it to fix soooo...... I figured it was a hardware issue and called t-mo and they are replacing it under warranty.
ok. but when you`re out of warranty - then you`ve got serious problem. Nobody knows what is wrong ?

is anybody else also experiencing sudden reboots on his Mozart device after flashing WP7 to Mango 7712?
Most of my colleagues don´t have any problems with Mango.
There are no specific task when the reboots occur. They just happen all of a sudden, even if I don´t use the device. It´s very strange.
I checked all available device info with my colleagues and all version numbers are the same to the last digits. Maybe it´s a memory card issue?
Overall, the Mango experience is great and that´s why I don´t want to go back to NoDo. Just the reboots are driving me crazy... I haven´t found a solution so far. Maybe I will try a hard reset.
I reverted to NoDo out of curiosity and to make sure I haven´t done anything wrong in the flashing process. But after reflashing Mango again, the device acts just the same as on the first try. So I don´t think its a process issue.
Well, in the end I will have to wait for the real Mango release...!? But maybe someone can share some valuable information on this issue?

I had the same issue with Mango on beta 1 when I used the unoffical method of getting the beta.
I reverted back to NoDo and preformed a hard reset, the used the offical method of getting the beta 1 and now beta 2, neiter of which caused any issues. I can only suggest that an app is causing this problem for you.
Yeah, I had the feeling that the only way to clear out any questions would be to do a hard reset... I will try a hard reset on the 7712 basis. Maybe that helps...

...a hard reset with Mango 7712 did the trick. I assume some App was causing this behaviour.
I´m now very happy with 7720! Thanks for the hint with the hard reset. I was a bit afraid of having to reinstall all my apps but in the end I am happier now with a stable Mozart

I would like to know if you could help me with a strange problem, i´ve been using the GingerDX rom on my x10 mini pro till yesterday. Yesterday my touchscreen stopped working don´t know why, i´ve notice some lags in responding time, but i thoughth that should be "normal" with processing information or something similar...but try to reboot a few times and the problem remains, and the only thing i could do was entering pin number with slide keyboard.
Then i try to install the rom again, with full wipe etc etc, and same problem, even with other rom (one of Paullxxx).
Then thought that could be a hardware problem, and get SEUS and restore it...but then the touchscreen was responding with no problems, and i´ve been using all morning, about 12h and no problem at all.
Now i´ve root it again and had installed a custom rom again, and the problem backs again
Do someone know what is the problem?
Could someone help me please?

The problem was solved by SEUS, and start ROOT and all the stuff again.
I supose it was some drivers issues or something, but strange was the fact that ROMS were working long time ago, and with no modification or update, the touch screen stop responding
I am facing the same problem.I had been using MiniCM7 Pro v20 for about 6 months, then suddenly one day touch screen stopped working. Rest all was working fine. My x10 mini pro's touch screen wont work on any custom rom . I tried with many rom's. But after updating with SEUS touch screen works again .
Can please anyone please suggest a solution on this....

i have an irritating problem on my LGP500 (v2.2.1 Froyo), i had this phone for over a year now, but recently when i tried putting 2-3 videos on my sd card, only one would then freakishly appear. After a few PRIVACY reset (as well as SD Card Reformatting), the problem didnt go away. (i did not know the cause of that problem but it wasnt the video, had successfully transferred them before).
I had this problem a couple of months ago but after a reformat it usually was solved but not this time. Also, after the reformat my gameboid just crashed on me. No message whatsoever. Just clicked on a game then *boom* i'm back on my homescreen. I had this game for months now, never had this problem. So i decided to try to update my phone to 2.3.3 Gingerbread then root it via this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1200167.
The problem with the videos disappearing was fixed but still the gameboid dilemma persists. So i tried, i searched, tried different bios, tried different versions (from 1.8-3.0.11) still no luck. Tried different roms that were compatible and still no damn luck. Im getting quite irritated, hopefully anybody can help.
Also, my 2.2.1 phone was rooted the whole time before that problem appeared, (also tried to unroot --> reformat) so i think my root isnt the problem.
wipe data with titanium backup, then uninstall it, then reinstall a clean new version of the gameboid emulator.
Nevermind, this part was a bit tricky, i used gameboid 2.4.7 which was, in my understanding, more suitable for the Gingerbread: 2.3.3. I overlooked several versions but hey. All's well that end well.

Why don't you upgrade to Gingerbread stock Rom?? 2. 2. 1 is an obsolet version guy..
