Hi everyone, I really need help on this one, I don't know what to do !
I have a very weird problem with the mp3 player... I already explained this in Artemis topic but since it's not Artemis fault, I'll explain it all again and I did some screenshots...
Ok so here's the thing, the first usage of my HD2 is the mp3 player, followed by internet obviously... And since I'm using CHT and its mp3 shortcut, I can't (and I don't want to) really use S2P or something like that, because I know a lot of people, when someone's experiencing trouble with something, say to switch to something else... Here I don't want to change my mp3 software, I just want to get it work properly.
The problem is kinda hard to explain. I have like 8gigs of music on my phone since I have it. And, three days ago, I switched to Artemis v30 (I was on v18 before that I think) and the problem first showed up. The first time the mp3 player is loading my songs, everything is fine. I can even start playing some of them, but everything is loaded up BOOM :

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Everything is gone ! But not really...
Yeah, all my music is here, and I can play a song... But after like 10sec, the song stop playing :-(
Here's how my music is stored, like it always was before !
The MP3 Player looks like this :
But if I switch to landscape...
(no music found I guess in english :s)
So, with a lot of help of you guys I tried A LOT of things... First, format the SD using the phone software. Didn't change. Then, simply rename the folder... Meh, let's see what happened during the loading :
Artists are loading...
So do the albums...
Genres...
And then, when it stopped loading, BOOM again (look at the time, it's really another screenshot XD)
And the WORST is that now, the music list looks like that :
That's right, everything is in double ! (and if I rename it a second time, all the music is in triple, etc.)
You might ask but when I format my SD, I didn't copy the music from my SD to my computer, and back to the SD after that, no, I took the music directly from my computer and copy it to the SD because I wanted to be sure that the files were clean ! Also, I always delete the Application Data, My Documents and Program Files folders.
At this point, I thought it was because of the newest sense... So I a bunch of differents ROM, and here's the conclusion :
Artemis 29.5 : Doesn't work.
Artemis 30/31/31.5 : Doesn't work.
Dutty 10 : Doest't work (the last one I tried, the screenshot are taken on this one).
Miri : Works !
Energy Leo : Works !
Since the latest Energy ROM works with the latest sense version, I can't be sense's fault like I thought :-(
You also might ask, but EVERY TIME I always perform clean flash. Task29, then I install the recommended Radio (I tried with differents radio (2.07, 2.08 and 2.10) with Artemis 31.5, I took the 2.12 for Dutty, and I took the 2.08 for Energy), I install the ROM and then perform a Hard Reset, and a soft reset when the first manilla screen show is here...
But, you might also ask... Why don't you stay on Miri or Energy ? Because Miri is not in French, and I want to have a FRA version... And I don't like the skin of Energy, and the version without the skin is not in French !
Well, I think I told you everything, now I wanted to know if I'm the only one experiencing this problem, if you know what's going on, and if you have a solution for me ! I also apologize for my english ^^'
Hope you'll be able to help !
Hi,
I remember having some problems once with sense
music player because of some corrupted files on
my sd card (album art image was corrupted)
Try to put your sd into your computer and run a
scandisk.
Did you try adding your songs one by one ?
Thomas
start with a blank sd card, freshly formatted. Delete teh file aplication data/HTC/audiomanager_eng/audiomanager_eng.vol
(filename may be slightly different, but thats the database of songs, delete it)
Then move some of your song to the sd card. Dont use sync, use disk drive mode. Move som albums across, let the phone find them. Move some more, let teh fone find them, move some more, , , you get the picture.
If/when it starts to go funny, start again, but dont copy the albums you just moved when it stopped. It could be that you have a corrupted mp3 in there somewhere.
Also, it could be a dodgy sd card. I have read a fair number of reports where people think they bought a 16gb/32gb card, but really its a smaller one that is tricked to look like a bigger one.

I didn't tried that but since I did that just after I flashed my HD2 (which means there was no audimanager_eng.vol yet), and it obviously didn't work. Everytime I flashed my device, I started with a freshly formatted SD (formatted with the device itself, from the ROM before the flash).

I Tried that and it "goes funny" from the beggining. I added one album, and as it was loaded very fast, I didn't have the time to see it in the "albums" tab ! (it does respond to tlefeuvre too)

Maybe but I repeat, all my files are clean, my PC can read and write as fast as it can and, I repeat, the music player works fine with latest Miri and Energy !
I really don't know what to do... If only Energy Standard was available in French, I wouldn't search further ! ^^'
Sorry for this "up" but I just can't believe that I'm the only one with this issue :-(
I really tried anything, and I still don't get what's wrong ! Right now I'm almost not using my phone because of that, because I feel that I'll have to flash my device soon, and I'm kinda tired of that... I never had any problem with my HD2 on older Artemis version...
I don't know if it helps but all my MP3 files are tagged with mp3tag 2.46a in ID3 v2.3...
Maybe this helps:
Set all Folder exept your Music folder to hidden (connect as USB Drive to your PC and use WindowsExplorer)
then delete the file in Storagecard/aplication data/HTC/audiomanager_eng/audiomanager_eng.vol
and softreset.
This prevent the Sense Player from indexing all the other files on your SD Card.
Its possible (i had this problem and sense locks nearly completely up) that some other file is disturb the player...
also do you delete all *.vin files (Cover Tumbnails) inside the Music folder?
Maybe there is the problem.

anyone??????
For me this happens when I first boot up. It shows that there is no music in play music, and no pics in the gallery app. I usually just wait, and it fixes it self. Idk why this would work, but try using a file explorer (I us es file explorer) and playing a couple of songs through that. One time play music recognized my songs after doing that, but I don't know if it was because of that.

There's a setting somewhere in system settings that you can switch to use internal storage. I've never had a problem and with the os recognizing media with that checked. Requires a reboot though.

Try to view your sd card from a computer or a file browser, look for sd card1 , sdcard2 .. if you have this its just because of the new
base through the cm10 system. It no longer uses EMMC as the path, easiest fixes are under settings-advanced-use internal storage or copy sd card1 into sdcard0 where the path is looking for music and pictures. That should fix it!! Try to reinstall cm10 if that didnt work, fresh wipe, and before your phone boots up the first time, pull the sd card out and let it boot completely then add the sd card back. GOOD LUCK

Im going to need some more info to better assist you then.
Of course you have the moto photon..
What kernel are you using? 1.3 should be the only one stable for a daily driver.
Try re-dowloading the rom from Jokersax.com and do a complete hard reset in CWM recovery.
Please verify you are using the jokersax recovery v3 NOT V4 .. v4 has a known issue when flashing gapps.
Try to do the hard reset 2x before doing any flashing. Hard reset all, clear the devlik cash as well 2x to avoid any issues.
At this point, going into mounts and storage you might want to go ahead and mount and format ALL the storage locations, pull the sd card out so it dosnt recieve a wipe. You may also want to remove your media from the sd card , format and only move back the DCIM picture folder for now.
Once your to that point, install cm10.. do not do anything else.. boot up and test the rom for boot, once you have boot, just go back into recovery and start flashing anything you need. i suggest the latest gapps, the cdma data fix, and mms fix 2 try this.. then re-boot and allow android to upgrade your fixes. once you have booted, go into the settings and choose the advanced-use internal.
Open voice dialer and say open APNS ( once opened it should be BLANK ) i know dont worrie, just hit your menue button and click return to deafault, then re-boot and your data connection, mms and pic mail all should be perfect. Add the sd card in and open gallery. give it time to refresh, mine took almost 2 minutes for pictures to load. If not i would use ( ROM TOOLBOX) or equivilent app that will allow you to browse your directorys with full access to make copys or rename items. Find the storage location and find the sdcard0 and sdcard1.. make a copy of the dcim folder in the sdcard1 that actually has the pictures there, and copy the folder to the other side as well so they are identical.. ICS doesnt look for EMMC anymore and is designed to have the two spaces for memory to support some apps..
Reboot after the copy and try to veiw pictures and music.. Apollo music is my favorite but seems to have some issues working well with google play music as well.. it seems if you run one dont run the other one unless you have closed the process out, I HAD ALOT OF FC issue without doing that each time.. Also use ROM MANAGER to run a fix permissions or do it inside the Recovery mode.
Verifiy some of this information for me and we can get this straightend out.. If you feel that ive helped or resolve the issue let me know!!

Also i forgot to mention to copy the music as well. I would do ALL the copy work from inside the phone not from a computer at this point knowing that the computer does not see the storage spaces correctly, ROM TOOLBOX PRO has given me the best results.. Also try NOT having internal storage selected first and see what shows up if anything. You can also keep the card out and take a picture to see what side your phone uses to view/save the photos and thats the place old pictures need to be as well to be viewed.. I know you might be frustrated at this point but take each step one by one and see what has changed and the results that came from the change.. i didnt do ANY build prop edits, any changes to the rom and have EVERYTHING running on my mypho.. (even videocam records for me on 3rd part app and mapping) PM me if you need links to downloads and if im in good coverage i can let you pull from my drop box privately if needed.. GOOD LUCK

Latest 'Jellaxy' release : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1901346 [26.10.2012 Build 5]
No gapps
I installed the AOKP exactly as per instructions here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1874920
No gapps are seen as they are not packed with the ROM. The OP suggested installing gapps from http://www.modaco.com/topic/355903-devrom2810-cyanogenmod-10-android-412/ for fixing Network Location
Network Location: For working network location you have to flash latest gapps provided by KonstaT from here http://www.modaco.com/topic/355903-d...0-android-412/ If it does not work first, than reboot and/or reconfigure weather settings in 'ROM Control' settings. You should be able to have weather on your lockscreen based on your actual position.

Flashing the above gapps did not work for me. I have never (or may be 1-2 times, that I don't recollect of) flashed gapps separately. Can someone guide me to doing this. JFYI, I have an ext partition too, I have tried flashing gapps without flashing any a2sd too.

Was able to get everything working finally....
Turns out it may be the CWM6 that is buggy or the isn't compatible. Dowgraded back to the good old CWM5 and gapps flash great so do the scripts :good: :victory:
Anyone having mediascan issue? I have been having this with all the jellaxy builds (CM10 and AOKP). No matter what I do most of my pictures never show up in the gallery. Apollo won't detect my music. I have tried media scan, rescan and several other apps, but no use. Pics I take from camera or screenshots I take do show up though in the gallery. But generally they too disappear on reboot.

No problems like that here. All pics showing up (using QuickPic). Apollo is also working fine for me.
I'm running the latest version of the rom (Build 5). The only issue I've found so far is battery life that isn't so good no matter what scripts or tweaks I use :/
I had Jellaxy CM10 before this one and did't have media scan issues either.
Try re-flashing the rom following instructions properly and you could also try using a different sd card.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes it seems to be working for almost all the people here, though google reveals many similar cases on ICS and JB. I have reflashed the ROM multiple times. Also faced this issue in almost all the Jellaxy CM10 builds (I have tried them all ) too. Chaging the SD card? You think that will help? Anyway everything else that I could think of I have tired, will give it a shot as soon as I get my hands on some SD card.

I faced the same problem a lot of times, and still havent found a good fix for it. the scan usually works fine on a fresh install. I do have a workaround though. For pics use quickpic. For music, you can use poweramp, andless or another player with its own scanner.
However, if you have the patience, install mixzing player. reboot your phone. then open mixzing first. go into folders, then the folder where you store your music, then wait. The names of the songs should change from filenames to the id3 information. Repeat for each folder, scrolling so that the info appears for each track; all while not actually playing anything. Now open your stock player, the tracks should have appeared. If they haven't, force stop the media scanner and try again.

I hope you plan on keeping this alive as I prefer it over other cm10s. Better ram management and just plain fast.

I have the very first Nook Tablet 16GB and bought it the day it came out. I've rooted other Android devices NO PROBLEM including my Samsung Galaxy Note II. I had sideloaded apps onto my Nook Tablet for a long time and finally decided I want to completely get rid of B&N software and go complete Android 4.2.2 on it but for the past 24 hours I've been tearing out what's left of my hair.
I was stuck in a boot loop so I restored to the original stock ROM. Then I couldn't figure out how to get CMW on it. Without giving you each and every headache, I ended up following this guide to root the stock I had just flashed: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=31271965&postcount=240
I somehow MANAGED to get CM10.1 installed, so I see the Cyano boot when I turn the device on, but now I'm stuck on the Cyanogenmod spinning logo animation. For a SPLIT second I can see the Android interface with the lock icon but it instantly disappears and goes back to the spinning logo.
Hi.
Why can't I do anything with this piece of ****? And why can't I find a SINGLE good, working tutorial on XDA forums? You would think that TWENTY FOUR HOURS of effort would get me somewhere but I'm constantly stuck. What the HELL is with this piece of **** device?
I just want CM10.1 on the EMMC. It really shouldn't be this frustrating. There isn't even a video tutorial on installing CM10.1 because I bet so many people are blowing up their devices. I tried using this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2221006 but of course fastboot doesn't work at all despite using the Android SDK to compile my own versions of CSipSimple JUST FINE.
Where are the real instructions on how to get this working the way I want it to be working?
NOT B&N ROM, NOT TWRP: Just CWM and CM10.1.
Wow, imagine how different we think! I think Nook Tablet is incredibly easy to root and install ROMS on. None of my phones have been anywhere near this easy to deal with!
Severeal tutorials around! I made one some months ago. It can be done easier than what I wrote back then, but here it is anyway
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2081981
(should work for CM10.1 as well as CM10. Personally I still prefer CM10 dated 1231 from here http://iamafanof.wordpress.com/2012/11/03/cm10-0-jelly-bean-for-nook-tablet-uploading/ but that's me...)
An even easier way to do it (not the most elegant, but hey.... I like easy!) As of a couple of weeks ago I don't have a Tablet any more, so I can't check out exactly how things look, but here's an outline:
1. Download and burn the image that makes a bootable CM10 sd-card. http://iamafanof.wordpress.com/2012/11/18/cm10-0-jellybean-sdcard-img-for-nook-tablet/ Even if you don't intend to run CM10 from sd you can use this as a bootable CWM card.
2. Boot into that card holding "n" to get to boot menu in Cyanoboot
3. Choose "sd recovery". You should now be in CWM 6.x.x
4. Wipe Dalvik and cache
5. Flash (Install zip - choose zip) the ROM and appropriate gApps (make sure you really have the correct gApps for the ROM! They are not all the same!). You should be able to put the ROM and gApps on a different sd-crad than the one you wrote the previous img to and switch to that for the flashing.
Member Digixmax has meade several step by step instructions as well if you don't like the look of mine. Just to name one.
Well, I WAS able to flash it using this method: http://iamafanof.wordpress.com/2013...-2-jellybean-sdcard-img-for-nook-tablet-0416/
But of course, it's so goddamned dumb that it installed it on my SD card regardless of me wanting to install it internally. Using Cyanoboot, I can only get into CM10.1 if I use "Boot SD Card Normal" if I boot from EMMC, it just shows the CM logo spinning forever.
Why would ANYONE want to not flash permanently? Why is it that every other ROM released on XDA implies a permanent ROM flash and never a dual boot off SD card? Why is Nook different?
I need someone to make a 2013 permanent CM10.1 video tutorial because SO many people obviously have problems with this thing and the best way to get rid of all the problems and questions is by posting a competent and thorough video tutorial. Text isn't working. I followed the text and I followed the instructions: "Download Image: ** Flash this if you want your downloaded app data to be stored in EMMC (sdcard0). "
I don't JUST want my downloaded app data to be stored--I WANT MY FULL 32GB SD CARD TO NOT HAVE TO BE IN MY NOOK TABLET WHEN I TURN IT ON FOR IT TO WORK. Why is that so difficult? Why am I able to flash my Note II so easily compared to this? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2228881
I'll tell you why: GIVING PEOPLE OPTIONS. Stop giving us the option to dual or even quad boot and just tell us to shut the **** up and give us ONE method: INTERNAL, PERMANENT INSTALLS.

Well, many prefer to not mess with internals. For those that do I have given instructions. In other topics there are extremely detailed instructions given by others if you prefer those. Sorry if it isn't good enough for you, but it's all I can do. It really is very easy, but of course you have to make an effort yourself.

And for what it's worth, the link you said you followed clearly states it's for running from sd-card, not for internal install. It's not "dumb", it does what it's supposed to do even though you are trying to make it do something else. Many, many people wants this. You don't, so it's not for you and you shouldn't have followed it. If you want internal install, don't follow an sd-install instruction!
Cool it a couple of notches and I'm sure you can get it all sorted. Including making the change to get app data saved internally once the ROM is installed.

Hi. Thanks for the response. I made a video just now in response to you:
I'm considering making another one right now since a new CM10.1 nightly just came out: http://get.cm/?device=acclaim
I want to show you that it won't even work installing the new nightly through CWM. It shouldn't be this difficult. Typically, when you root one your devices, that means you have the power to do whatever you want with it, but as I just proved in my video, that isn't the case with the Nook Tablet.
Okay. I got it working using the method in this video:
NOBODY else mentioned using FACTORY WIPE. That's what seemed to fix it because Wipe Cache/Dalvik cache wasn't doing crap.
Now my only problem is how to repartition the memory because it's giving me two internal storage listings: 5.50GB and 7.45GB. And of course when I pop in my SD card, it's actually working the way I want it to and giving me the full 28GB. I find it strange that the SD card is listed as "Internal memory" in Solid Explorer, though.
I don't make videos. I rarely watch videos. I certainly don't go looking for them if there aren't proper links.
So I have no idea where you have gone wrong since some of what you write makes very little sense.,
I have tried to give you easy to follow instructions. I still think you should stick to the very stable CM10 I suggested instead of the nightlies that you apparently are not getting to work but that really shouldn't make much difference. I link to it in my reply with the instructions.
Nothing more I can do but maybe someone more patient will come along and give you what you want.

I'd love to link my videos but this ****ty website prevents "new" users from posting links. VoIP is better than text anyway. Skype, Mumble, Teamspeak, Ventrilo, Tinychat, and Jitsi are ALL better than limited forum communication. I made the video showing you how screwed up it is and if you're not going to watch it and see the evidence for yourself, then you might as well say evolution is false or that the earth is flat. You said it was easy but I showed you in video that it isn't and what a shocker, you don't want to see it.
OK, I did watch the first few minutes of your first video while waiting for the vet... WHY DO YOU BOOT FROM SD????? You install in internally and then you boot from sd... Makes no sense! Once it's installed, just take the sd card out and boot from internals. Or choose internal boot from Cyanoboot.

Because THIS is what happened when I booted it internally:
But like I said, I got it working via another method. It's internal now, but the only problem is my internal storage is out of whack. I have 2x internal storage listings and then my normal SD card:

That's normal. Internal is three partitions: Around 3 GB for the OS (doesn't show up in "storage"), around 5GB for apps and then the 8GB that you can keep whatever you want in.

Okay, thanks. I just wish it wasn't such a huge pain in the ass to get to this point. CM10.1's interface is so much better than that B&N garbage. ezPDF and Mantano are really the only reasons I use my Nook Tablet. Adios I'm a ghost.
Hello all,
I didn't find a Cyanogen specific forum so I'm posting here.
The last stock update to my Galaxy SII somewhat messed it up, it started running boiling hot, drining the battery without showing any CPU or anything. So today I installed the stable CyanogenMod (10.1.3) and so far it doesn't have this problem.
Two important questions:
- how do I get my gmail address book inside the phone ? Under Settings/Accounts I only see CyanogenMod, and trying to add one gives me Corporate (Exchange), CyanogenMod (again) and Email.
- how do I get Swype ? It's not available from the Language&Input settings.
- how do I view the external SD card from the file manager ? It only shows the internal storage.
OK, that was 3. Thanks

Did you also install the gapps package when installing CyanogenMod? The Google Account is only available when you install gapps.
CyanogenMod doesn't come with Google Apps and accound and other Googly stuff preinstalled, due to licencing issues. You have to flash gapps separately in recovery, after installing CyanogenMod. You can read more about gapps and download them here.

Swype is available here on Play Store. There is also a free version, you can find it on Play Store as well.
Note that to be able to install apps from Play Store, you have to install the gapps package first.

Go to File manager - Settings - General Settings, and under Access Mode select Root Access Mode. Press allow on the dialog that pops up, and then go back to the directory listing in File Manager. On the top of the app you will see the path which you are currently viewing. Click on the / and you will get to the root directory of your phone, where you can find a folder called externalSD or something similar. That is your external SD card.
Hope this helps.

I had it on the stock phone, so I simply did not think about that. Thanks again.

That solves it, but requiring root just to access sdcard files is a bit dangerous if it can access any system files as well...

Well, root access is not required to access the external storage card, but you have to enable root access to be able to go to other directories than internal SD card in the CyanogenMod File Manager. It is a bad design decision, though.
You may install other file manager apps from the Play Store, lots of them have the option to access external SD card without root. I don't have a phone with internal AND an external storage, so I can't test it, but I believe Clean File Manager will do the job fine, at least based on its Play Store description. You could also try Astro File Manager or ES File Explorer, these are one of the most popular file managers on Android.
Thank you. I used "OI file manager" and it worked fine.
I have a few other questions as I discover Cyanogen if you don't mind:
- it took me a while to get the FM radio working again, thanks to Spirit UL
- using the default Apollo music player, I don't see how I can 'Play all'. I can queue a song, an album or an artist. But I don't see how I can randomly play everything. The menu button hardly ever seems to do anything.

This may be because you are using CyanogenMod 10.1. Apollo was just beginning when CM 10.1 was released, so the option to Shuffle All may not be there. I've got CyanogenMod 10.2 on my phone and CyanogenMod 11 on my tablet and I've got the option to Shuffle All present when I press the overflow menu button on the starting screen of Apollo. See the picture:

If you really don't have the option there, you have a few options:
Install a newer version of Apollo from this thread.
Install a newer version of CyanogenMod, which will include the newer Apollo. CM 11 is the latest and greatest, and a lot has improved from CM 10.1. Here is the official thread for your device. Really, you should try it.
Install another music player. I'm using NexMusic and I'm very happy.
By the way, when you reply to someone, then if you quote his post, he can get a notification that you quoted the post and find out about your new reply. Otherwise it's a small probability that he'll notice there is a new post in the thread. I saw your reply by chance, when I was searching for another thread I posted in. You can quote a post by clicking the Reply button under it.
Here's some other XDA Tips you may find helpful.

Apparently, the latest for the Galaxy SII is 10.1.3, so I'll have to wait a while or use another music player. No biggie. Thanks for the tips.

You have the Samsung Galaxy S II GT-i9100, right? I sent you the link for CM 11 for that device in the previous post. 10.1.3 was the last release marked as stable, but don't let that fool you. I'm using nightlies on my tablet and they are running without a problem. On an popular older device, like the S II, the stability bugs have been fixed during the long development period, and now it is running nearly without problems. Yesterday they even released a M3 Snapshot build, so there should really be no major problems and almost no minor problems, for sure stable enough for daily usage. Still, I'd recommend you to look at your device's thread and see if someone reported some major problem or not.

That's good to know. I'll try nightly then.
I tried NexMusic and it's nice. A related question is that I have headphones with a 'play/pause' button and when I hold the button it brings up Google voice input. I'd rather have a 'skip to next song' function. Looked at some hardware button threads but did not see a direct solution in the settings. I installed ButtonRemapper but I also don't see distinctions for long presses there.

You can try Headset Button Controller, for me it works the best of all the apps I tried on my HD2. It has specific options for long presses and much more.
I need the Google Apps Device policy to work on this phone. I managed to install it by manually putting the apk onto the phone and installing it. It installed fine, but doesn't seem to want to encrypt the phone. When choosing to encrypt the phone, the phone reboots and it says Encryption unsuccessful and it has a button to say reset phone as your phone's memory is basically unreadable. I reboot the phone and everything is back to the way it was, without resetting the phone.
When i first got the phone it had 0.89Gb free, so i partitioned the phone and it now has 2 x 3Gb partitions after i flashed the phone.
Apologies if this is in the wrong forum.
Can anyone help, or shed some light please?

Hi
I have no idea about your problem. I have bought this phone 2 months ago, and have a basic problem with it. Maybe you can help me.
It is assumed to have 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM. But my phone has 1GB RAM, 1GB "Intenal storage", and 5.3GB "Phone storage". The only 1GB internal storage is useable to install applications. I mean after installing a few applications, it shows an error message that there is not enough memory. I checked the "storage" and found that the available space in the internal storage is less than 80MB and available space in the phone storage is more than 4.5GB.
Do you have the same experience? Is there any way to fix it? for example merging this two part of storage.
Thanks

hey there, your problem is that your device has two separate partitions, internal storage and sd card,(not ex sd card so don't get confused),also kitkat 4.4.2 does not allow devices to store applications on sd card,(don;t ask me why...they are just idiots),so what you will have to do is swap your partitions over and add your sd card memory to your internal memory so that you will have more space for apps and stuff,so follow this guide in the link below and you should be ok

This sounds like a part of the Bootloader or OS is missing some parts or files. It encrypts the device pre-OS, so maybe your device does not have the necessary ability to encrypt. What device do you own and carrier please
Thanks for the reply.
The device is a Landvo L200
The carrier is Vodafone IE - Ireland

Ok, I see the dilemma!!
That app is strictly for enterprise management of devices. It would use the currently in-place security of the device. It depends on other apks to work correctly.
Does your device have the encrypt setting that looks like this??
