This is a universal problem across ALL ROMs and has been discussed in EVERY single ginger bread based ROM in this forum, and as such I felt it was the appropriate place to get as much dissemenation as possible. Please don't insult my common sense as I assure you I have plenty of it.
As for the quote of "Pandora ROM" I'm pretty sure my post was NOT entitled [ROM] or [Kernel] or [Mod] so give me some credit there... If someone who Moderates these forums thinks there is a better place for it feel free to move it, but the reality is I was trying to help as many people as possible, I didnt post something that says, "Excuse me how do I do an hboot or flash a ROM" I posted a universally applicable piece of information.
Have a fantastic day and for all of you flaming me enjoy your Pandora now that you know the fix has been released (even though it was posted in this forum)

Regardless of the reason it is still the wrong forum. Explain it however makes you feel warm and fuzzy but this is the development forum and a market app update is not development. Just saying.
Also if people didn't see it in the Themes & Apps forum they would have seen it when they loaded the market and saw there was an update available.
I could give two ****s where its posted. I'm glad I seen it cause I normally just browse my favorite threads.

All 47 posts? Good job. Post in the right section next time. If you read the dev section requirements and rules, you would understand. And as for the tool who said thats what mods are for, mods are here for tools like you do they can kick you in the face with the BAN BOOT.

I was using it earlier for about half hour straight and it played like it use to so the update was def a Improvement for me. I'll try it again later, using sirius right now.
EDIT**: I can confirm that Pandora does work now, after 2 hours so far, its still going strong. FLAWLESS!

For all we know they may be working on a root method but with the lack of success of Gingerbreak and other one-click root methods I would guess that they, like many others, are having a hard time finding a useable exploit...
We are certainly working on something and will post if and when it's ready.

I've been a member here for a long time, but do not speak much as most questions I would have about any of my devices have clearly been discussed.
I also understand where new members would not know much about whats going on at times, but its nothing more than a simple search. I (and all other members new/old) have to search like everyone else. Its really not hard.
Its also believed with the great devs that are doing what they can (and I THANK YOU for that) to get root available for our device. I'm SURE they will have something up (as in a new thread) that they have achieved what we have been waiting for. Its going to happen. Be appreciative that we even have devs that are making the time to find out all that they can. Without them, we'd be in a world of hurt.

Think of "development" like a business...professionalism is important in business, no? There is a job that is being done here.
If you are looking for the tavern take it to General, if you are looking for the visitors assistance center take it to Q&A. This is all spelled out in the rules. If you have no "developing" to contribute to the "development" please take it elsewhere.
Posting non-development related posts is like showing up drunk to work, and your post is like an even drunker guy proclaiming how BS the professionalism is at said business.

Basically what they are trying to tell you is to post in the correct place (General Discussion). This is the development section. To be honest, it took a mighty long time to get back to normal due to the fact that noobs and cry babies were *****ing about s-off which had everything out of whack. Now that XDA is coming back to life, I'm pretty sure members who have been around for a while would like to see it remain that way. Just be patient grasshopper. We just got root the other day. Let the developers bring you a stable kernel first then we will see SBC soon after.

I know his post isn't development but that is what he is requesting. All these stupid guides that keep on popping up in the development section aren't development either and belong in the general section also. I don't see you jumping on any of those posts and giving them a hard time.

Agreed. The OP was unarguably development-related, and this was the correct place to post it.
Those whiners who incessantly demand that such posts be removed from the dev section have grown blind to the mission of xda, and would become dangerous and tyrannical power freaks if ever given mod status, and would quickly destroy the dev forum just as thoroughly as what almost happened a few weeks ago in this very forum. Xda exists to further development of the operating systems on our devices. The OP wants devs to see his request, and that's a legitimate expectation, so I can't fault him for posting it here. How many devs ever even visit the General Discussion forum?

Nevertheless he is correct in the fact that you are (1) posting in the wrong thread and (2) posting against rules which clearly define: "no best whatever" threads.
Hence just have a look in the Themes & Apps section and evaluate the mods yourself, I bet you will find something that you like.

Also as I said there is so many mods and a lot are on other pages. I may have worded i wrong but what I meant was, all I'm asking is if there is a thread suggesting some good mods to get (not best).

hi.
i bought a sim free s3 last year and used various uk sims in it.
then went to pakistan last year and took it with me. sims wouldnt work so had to get it rooted to work.
the guy said it had an international lock on it where you cant use it with other countries sims.
anyone got any idea i thought simfree means unlocked anywhere in the world.
