im unable to access twitter via the sense tab. when i try, i get a download error message, that says 'the account was forbidden access to the server'. ive checked my settings on twitter, and HTC Peep has access. i cant see a Peep up in the start menu, so i can only look via the sense tab.
im running CleanEx DsE Core WWE v6, OS version 5.2.23673, Manila version 2.5.2016, Radio 2.12.50.02_2
Its HTC sense issue...twitter has made some changes to its authentication model it uses oauth which htc has to incorporate in sense for it to work. Till then wait for a patch release from HTC
any update for this issue ?

Installed Energy ROM and Android Froyo 2.2 on my HD2. Under WM and Android interface I can connect to the internet based apps but I cannot send/receive emails under my COX email account. Checked server settings and everything looks fine and I get no errors. Am I missing something here???
Unable to connect to the exchange server, could it be possible that it is a certificate issue.

Bump to this thread with some newer information.
Post quite a bit of reading up, I think the problem of not being able to connect to exchange is due to security settings froyo requires.
Has anyone any idea if it would make sense to use overwrite the default mail.apk with a modded version with all the security bit removed or the 2.1 mail application ?

Its weird that I am the only one who has posted on this thread , however after lots of trial and error I managed to get this to work by replacing the Email.apk with the one available on this thread.

Device - HTC Touch Pro CDMA (Sprint, raph800).
ROM: NFSFAN's 6.5.5
Skype: 3.0
ROM was flashed according to all rules - task29 & hard reset.
Skype is showing error message "Can't connect to Skype Network" while signing in. Browser and MarketPlace work fine. Connection to the Internet is via Wi-Fi. On image - log of outbound traffic.
Remarkable is that I have XDAndroid installed on SDcard, and android Skype can't connect too! It just showing login form again after a couple of minutes...
What's wrong?

you could try changing password via PC/Notebook login then logout & login via Touch Pro skype app.
This worked on HD2 when failed to logon.
last i knew skype isnt supported on windows mobile 6.5 anymore, they moved development to windows phone 7, and i wouldnt quote me on this, but im pretty sure i remember hearing that skype isnt working with xdandroid at the moment, are you all up to date on your rootfs, zimage, modules and such on xdandroid? that could be a problem also

Development has stopped for WM6.5 but the last software build still functions ok.
Used it this week without problems on my Energy WM6.5.5 HD2.

I own HTC Flyer Tablet, model P512, 16GB Wifi, Europe version, after automatic upgrade to HC 3.2 after rebooting I can´t access:
WIFI "button for activation disapper"
Settings ("Sorry! Settings has stopped unexpectedly. Would you like to tell HTC?")
Factory reset doesnt change anything, recovery doesnt work.
Problem is, that USB debugging is not active, and i cant activate it, cause cant access settings menu.
Cant downgrade, cant use adb (only with HTC sync active - profile activate usb debugging automatic, but only when HC booted)
What now? PLEASE HELP..thanks much
A list of downloadable stock HC ROMs for the flyer can be found in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1062184
You'll need to download the correct one for your flyer, which i think is RUU_Flyer_HC_S_HTC_WWE_Wifi_3.55.1114.31..., hook up your flyer to your PC via USB, and run the executable.
It will re-install HC to your flyer and completely wipe it back to factory settings.
Give that a shot.
settings window don't load
My HTC Flyer just suddenly don't want to open Settings. I can see it running under the task manager. Cleared cache and force atopped Settings but still Settings don" want to open.
I have the manufacturer HC running with the standard HTC skin.
I've not done anything funny. No new apps installed. Only worked in Es File Explorer today.

Took me a while but managed to upgrade my Flyer P512 with CWM and DexterJB.zip (V1.8) from HC 3.2.1 to 4.1.1.
Things seem to scroll nicely but after filling in my WIFI pin, the AOSP android keyboard keeps telling me in a flashing message that 'Unfortunately the AOSP Android keyboard has stopped working, with only option 'OK'.
Therefore I am not able to add the Google account nor type anything in a browser url bar. I've tried changing language option(s), input option(s) but the message keeps on flashing by!
I'll try again to reflash another interface; options are 'Generic', MIUI, Sense, Sense 4, etc... but I do have the impression things will not change...
I've shutdown the device, restarted, reinstalled other option in DexterJB ROM but this problem keeps coming back....
I have NOT been able to find a similar thread here....
Can anybody shine a light?

You probably installed a JB 4.2 Gapps version. Try gapps-jb-20120726-signed.
Well, I am downloading an earlier version indeed but via this """Rapidshare""" link it downloads sooooo sloooooow!! UNbelievable!!!
Earlier gapps do not seem to work either!
