[Q] Orange Boston flash images needed - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello!
I recently got my hands on an Orange Boston phone with Android 1.6. Unfortunately I couldn't resist and I rooted it and tried to upgrade the firmware. Because of some unforseen factors I couldn't finish the upgrade and lost also the backup images for boot and recovery. Due to that misfortune now my phone cannot boot and says that the boot image header is invalid. Could somebody help me with some backup images for boot, recovery (optionaly for userdata and system)? I suppose I will be able to upload them using fastboot. Thank you very much in advance!

Z Ultra recovery stress...

Got my Z Ultra yesterday (£235 C6806) bargain!
I've rooted many a phone in the past and dealt with the dreaded S-OFF that HTC had but for the first time I actually had a brown trousers moment and I'm wondering if anyone could explain a couple of things for me?
I accidentally flashed a 4.4.2 ROM, this booted up but failed to connect to wifi and had a load of wierd issues, I then re-flashed the recovery img file which ended up in the device not booting, all i got was a colourful 'pacman roms' image. With enough manic button pushing I got back into recovery but found the USB mount storage option does not show the device up on my PC, Thank god its got an SD slot as without this I guess it would have been a flash to stock ordeal. I finally managed to install the 4.4.4 GPe Rom after getting into the recovery and now when I power up it has the usual 'google' logo.
So if I want to flash a ROM etc. I have to flash the .img file for a recovery? It's not permanent? Or should I have the recovery on there all the time?
Im assuming I will have fastboot access if required?
Thanks for any help just dont want to get into another panic attack with this thing!
Ed
Its not a HTC device , recovery is not flashed separate like on those devices.
You simply flash a SONY based kernel file with recovery in fastboot if you are right now on a SONY rom. And away you go. You will then be able to reboot in to recovery. After you flash a rom, the kernel and recovery will be changed out to what is included in the .zip file. :good:

[Q] Lenovo A7600H - bricked?

Hi guys!
I am kind of new to Android, but I bought a Lenovo A7600H, updated to 4.4.2 and rooted it.
By "mistake" I deleted at least one apk-file in the system folder. I wanted to update to the newest firmware, but due to the missing files I wasn't able to update. So I tried to flash it with the original factory image, which didn't work with SP flash tool, so I tried to flash with fastboot.
Apparently I applied the "system.img" to the recovery partition with the command "fastboot recovery system.img". Now, when I turn on the tab, it just says "SYSTEM image incorrect! Shutdown after 10,9,8,... seconds".
Is there anything I can do now or is my tab lost forever?
Thanks in advance for any help and sorry for the bad description.

[help] bricked my moto z

Hi experts!
Is there an available factory image of the latest firmware for griffin xt1650-03 for download? I unlocked my boot loader and tried to flash custom firmware now I am stuck in boot loop. My phone was nougat and updated via OTA last week before I decided to unlock boot loader. I tried loading the latest image I got from firmware.center but I am getting Downgrade version and verification failed when flashing stock partition and not loader. Please help
Note: I did this my wifi became unusable after my last OTA (mac 02:00:00:00) and thought using custom firmware would help
And I did not make a back up
Get it in fastboot mode, flash TWRP and root it. That might work.
I am in exactly the same position as OP, although I have successfully installed TWRP and have open bootloader from which I can boot into TWRP no probs. I didnt do a backup (will never again make this error!!)
The problem arises when I try to flash (any) files over to device I get the "Downgrade version and verification failed" like OP when flashing stock Telus rom (telus phone) or any other rom/files.
Rebooting brings me back to the moto unlocked bootloader page (horrible!) and the only way out is to get key combo or fastboot into bootloader/recovery etc.
Tried flashing multiple images as whole or bit by bit, always get the same bad validation message. Finding it hard to believe this 700dollar phone is a brick after literally following MotoS own 'unlock your bootloader' instructions. Never had issues like this on OPO, S6, S7, LG etc.
PC shows android device connected, nothing in the two empty folders that appear. TWRP confirms I have no OS installed and throws me back to bootloader.Wondering if locking bootloader again will allow me to install 'stock' ROM or at least recovery? I have reached my android knowledge limit and am not sure where to go from here, any help much appreciated!
OK. This happened to me. The way that I solved it was by flashing the RETUS NPL86.25.15 and then flashing the OTA 25.17-3-3 through twrp. Although I think I could've saved the headache if the original instructions included flashing the OEM.bin but anyways. That's what I did. Hope it helps.
Thanks. I did try flashing the oem.bin but got partition name error.
Can you link to the files you mention I think it's a kernel and then an OTA image? Thanks again in advance.
What I mean is that when I first started flashing the RETUS rom the instructions skipped that part so I ended up flashing most of the file system without something so it would never boot but it wouldn't loop it'd just hang. So basically you flash everything and then include the OEM.bin after you do the system chunks

Asus MemoPad 10, invalid boot

Hey guys! I'm writing, because I screwed up so much and need your help. Well, let's begin:
I wanted to install CM13 on my tablet. It was rooted, but I forgot that bootloader is locked.. Flashed TWRP through the app, rebooted and.. I've got big red warning: Can't load Invalid boot image !!!
This is how it is. The biggest problem is, I can't somehow flash anything, software, boot.img, new recovery, because everytime I got info in console: Cannot flash before unlock.
I've read that you need to download official Asus app to unlock bootloader, but I can't get an access to it right now, because I can't boot my Asus Any ideas what am I supposed to do?
Thanks in advance, cheers!

Allview viva h1001 LTE stock firmware

Hi, I have a allview viva h1001 LTE, I accidentally bricked my device while trying to install twrp(custom one) and now it's bootlooping, I can't boot into recovery or fastboot mode, I tried using SP Flash Tool, but I need the original stock firmware, can someone help me?
Hi. I am also looking for the firmware for this device. There is one firmware that I tried to fill, but it does not have a native scatter and I put it together as best I could. The tablet is boot to recovery but the system does not boot. If you have the opportunity to load the scatter from your original device, then there is a chance that we will defeat this device.
If it's still relevant, then I attach a recovery from a tablet that goes into recovery. I considered the entire dump if someone can see its integrity. Here is full flash read with EFT from other tablet who too restart.
Hi. I wrote down the firmware merged with the EFT, then I downloaded the image from allview p6 pro and using CM2MTK I filled in only the system. The tablet started up but without navigation buttons, with kingorut I made a root, and installed a buildpropeditor. At the end of the build.prop added the line qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 . After the reboot, the buttons appeared. I went into the update and saw the opportunity to install the update over the air but for p6 pro. Can someone tell me where to edit so that the device thinks that it is not p6 about but Viva H1001 LTE ? Thus, download the original update and make the original firmware. Thank you.
I atach build.prop for H1001 and P6_PRO
