[Q] Difference between radio bands: N_01.87.00R and N_01.77.15P?

Has anybody noticed a difference or can determine a difference between these two radio versions? The first was from Telstra 1.4.2, the second was from the most recent ATT update 1.4.83.
From what I've been reading, the telstra radio has no upload cap whereas the att one has uploads capped to 1250 or thereabouts.
Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk
At first I was worried att might try to cap something since I updated to 4.1.83 and ran a few speed tests with no improvements over the telstra I flashed a few days ago. I haven't broken 1250 upload yet with either, down speed has varied from 3000 to 6300. I'll wait and see what others discover with this too.
I've passed the 1250 kbps upload "cap" several times on stock ATT 1.83...

Ditto, my top speeds have been 5.6 down and 1.7 up.
I am running the N_01.77.15P from the ATT update. I get over 1250 most of the time.

"I thought I messed up my phone a few days ago, and have been trying EVERYTHING to fix it! (Countless nandroids back to Sense from CM7; to update PRL & Profile...)
And it turns out it's because of the massive amount of new iPhone users on Sprint's already slow/over-stuffed network!
If you are also affected, please post your Speedtest.net pic on there and let's hope Sprint hears us!"

Microphone DB capped?

Hey all,
Can someone with a GSIII use a sound level (or decibel) program and let me know if the microphone is capped at a certain decibel level?
I have the Captivate (AT&T Galaxy I) and its capped at 82-83 db. I run sound, and it would be real helpful if the microphone didn't max out, or at least maxed out around 100 db's.
Can someone download a free db meter from the app store and just slowly turn up their stereo to tell me how many db's this is capped at (if its capped at all)?
Hey there Its capped at 89Db by the looks of things I use a handdryer hitting the mic port and putting it next to a speaker all of them capped at 89.
Heres a picture of it:

Well, that's a shame. I was really hoping this one was different, at least its a higher cap.
Maybe its a software cap that can be removed or adjusted. I will have to research.
Well I used sound meter lite im not sure what ones the best but yeah if rooted you will be able to increase it im sure.

low speed internet

Dear subscribers
i want to if it is standard speed of huawei geting round 160 mbps
what i have is a 400 mbps connection and all mine other device can reach this speed as download also
when i connect mine mediapad it show that is 433mbps other device's show round 850 mbps
and when i do a speed test with mediapad it shows 160 mbps
so please can somoene explain it to me or is this the top speed of mediapad m5
Well, I tested on my home Wifi network side by side with my Z3TC. Same network, same frequency (5ghz), same distance to router. Z3TC consistently pulled down 120Mbps and showed a 300 Mbps connection. M5 consistently pulled 80 Mbps and showed a 150 Mbps connection. For practical purposes though, it doesn't really make a difference.
I am also asking is link 433 max speed ac that mediapad m5 offers because than its not for me was hoping that it could benefit of mine speed at home i also notice when watching stream vid that it take little longer for better quality see picture

P20 lite speedtest are slow with WIFI and 4G

Hi Guys,
I was wondering if it's normal that when I'm doing a speed test at home with the p20 lite (speed @home 200mb) that I max get 44 MB? (4G gives the same results)
I also tried it with my iPhone X and it hits 200mb very easy.
Does someone know why its not getting above 44MB?

Hi netfret,
That really depends on how many streams the APs and devices support.
For 1 stream, it is up to 72.2 Mbps connected speed, or about ~35Mbps max throughput.
2 streams, up to 144.4 Mbps connected speed, or about ~65Mbps max throughput.
All of the info listed above is based on the 2.4Ghz band since the P20 Lite(LX3 Model) doesn't support 5.2Ghz band.
Hope this sheds a little light on your curiosity my friend. BTW, I'm on a 200mb connection through Charter.

P20 Lite supports 5Ghz, at least LX1
Thx for the update, I have the LX3 and unfortunately it does not appear to support 5.2Ghz bands..
