Hi Guys,
I was wondering if it's normal that when I'm doing a speed test at home with the p20 lite (speed @home 200mb) that I max get 44 MB? (4G gives the same results)
I also tried it with my iPhone X and it hits 200mb very easy.
Does someone know why its not getting above 44MB?

Hi netfret,
That really depends on how many streams the APs and devices support.
For 1 stream, it is up to 72.2 Mbps connected speed, or about ~35Mbps max throughput.
2 streams, up to 144.4 Mbps connected speed, or about ~65Mbps max throughput.
All of the info listed above is based on the 2.4Ghz band since the P20 Lite(LX3 Model) doesn't support 5.2Ghz band.
Hope this sheds a little light on your curiosity my friend. BTW, I'm on a 200mb connection through Charter.

P20 Lite supports 5Ghz, at least LX1
Thx for the update, I have the LX3 and unfortunately it does not appear to support 5.2Ghz bands..

it's not device speed test. My network operator limit my HSDPA to 1mbit/sec. Trully "device" speed you can check by testing X10 mini with Quadrant benchmark.
Currently on o2 UK with no data
Current contract runs out in a few weeks
Can anyone post what UK sims are working please
Can't get 4g on Vodafone at all.

Three UK working great here. Calls, 4G all working
3 and EE are supposed to work, depending on where you are in the country. I only have a 3G contract on EE but it's pretty fast.
EE 4G is blazing fast ?

Are you sure EE works?
Definitely does ) I've been on EE for 18 months, first on a OnePlus & this RN3 for about 2 months now and have had absolutely no probs with signal. This is inside & I can achieve much higher speeds outside. Experience is always going to differ depending on location but as you can see it's fine for me.

Dear subscribers
i want to if it is standard speed of huawei geting round 160 mbps
what i have is a 400 mbps connection and all mine other device can reach this speed as download also
when i connect mine mediapad it show that is 433mbps other device's show round 850 mbps
and when i do a speed test with mediapad it shows 160 mbps
so please can somoene explain it to me or is this the top speed of mediapad m5
Well, I tested on my home Wifi network side by side with my Z3TC. Same network, same frequency (5ghz), same distance to router. Z3TC consistently pulled down 120Mbps and showed a 300 Mbps connection. M5 consistently pulled 80 Mbps and showed a 150 Mbps connection. For practical purposes though, it doesn't really make a difference.
I am also asking is link 433 max speed ac that mediapad m5 offers because than its not for me was hoping that it could benefit of mine speed at home i also notice when watching stream vid that it take little longer for better quality see picture

Same 10.68 gb here too, I think it's just a report bug as my phone only shows about 3 gigs total in all apps combined

Hey wanted to ask here hopefully I get an answer. It seems like my new nord 2 cannot detect my 5 GHz wifi connection. 2.4ghz always shows up and connection is stable and everything else but the 5ghz is not discoverable. Did any of you have had this issue? To add: my router is fine and the 5ghz wifi is on.
This seems to be a global Oneplus issue, there seems to be no fix.
I just wanted to add I'm also having the problem. Brand new OnePlus Nord 2.
Cannot see the 5ghz connection most of the time. When it does connect it's poor and drops often.
I had upgraded from an old OnePlus Five which had no issues so it must be the new OS?
Had the same problem on nord 2 ce lite. Fixed like this:
router settings(192.168.0.1) - Wireless 5GHz - Radio Channel and choose 36

If that doesn't work, you can try other channels. May also help change Channel Bandwidth.
