I've tried the "In_Call_Recorder 1_1_19193323_00" on a TMO HD2 as well as the one for the Touch dated 2009 beta and they have major errors.
Has anyone had any success with in call recording and the HD2? I'd appreciate some help with this since given today's need to document phonecalls (with the obligatory disclaimer of course), I often find myself needing to keep a transcript of my calls to customer service reps and even stock brokers.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

First, a very hefty thank you to all of the chefs! Without you folks, I would have ditched my AT&T Fuze months ago! I have perused this forum for the past few months, tried many different ROMs, and I have appreciated the subtle-to-major differences the various ROMs offer.
Since the 23xxx builds of 6.5 began to emerge, I found that my internal speaker randomly goes silent when making and receiving calls - my only recourse is to use my external speaker. This maintains for a little while (2-3 hours), then the problem disappears. This happens most frequently outside, and I am guessing the problem may be a result of the Touch InCall feature. During new ROM installation, I always follow the guidelines presented here - resetting before customization and all.
I have tried nearly every available ROM, mixed and matched radios, and searched the forum. While a few mentioned this problem, I saw no solution.
Currently, I am using jmckeejr's Chrome 23037.2, and radio 1.11.25.01, first without rilphone.dll, and since yesterday, with matching rilphone.
I very sincerely appreciate any and all suggestions, advice, recommendations, etc. I feel that I am left to assume that this is a hardware malfunction, but my hope lies here, in the hopes of avoiding another warrantied replacement, as I have already received and returned to AT&T one refurb-ed replacement which arrived in far worse condition than my original!
Thanks once more, and best regards to all.
I had a similar problem with all ROMs. And I found it to be a hardware problem for me. There are several discussion threads on this issue here on xda. Here is the one that I was involved with. I would suggest reading the entire thread because there were several solutions for different people.

Thank you xmckinzie - I appreciate your quick response. I will play the lottery and prepare for warranty service!
Hey everyone,
Last week me and my friend bought a fake iPhone that runs on an Android 2.2.1 ROM with an iPhone interface. There was a version of Skype pre-installed on the phone, but the version got stuck at the sign in screen (after pressing sign in) every time we tried.
After a few days of sniffing around on Google and downloading quite a few versions, we have still got the same problem. On the internet are a lot of posts about this, but there is no clear fix for the problem.
Our carrier is China Unicom, they have a 2G and 3G network and we also have a wireless. Although we came to understand that wifi is not supported on the mobile versions of Skype.
Can anyone help us out with a fix for this very annoying problem?
Cheers,
Bump, any reply would be helpful
This is kinda lame... So many views so little answers?
You've got a phone that nobody has and you can't identify, based on an old OS version ... there really isn't much we can tell you other than: try different versions. It seems like a problem with your firmware, and updating from such an old version would seem like a good idea for security reasons alone... but since this is a phone that doesn't officially exist, I doubt there's a project that creates custom firmware for it.
if you want, i got an skype beta for android, can send you link

Hey guys,
I have a Galaxy SIII GT-I9300 from Orange in Switzerland. I recently installed CyanogenMod 9.0.0-i9300 on my phone. Almost everything works great, but I have one serious issue: When I call someone from Orange (or sometimes to a landline), my voice arrives at the other end in an extremely distorted, robot-like and very hard to understand fashion. I have done some research and the problem and other people seem to be having this problem as well. It seems to be related to a flawed encoding on HD-voice calls. Various sources suggest trying out different modems, which I have tried but without any success. I also tried the various versions of CyanogenMod 9 that are available from get.cm/?device=i9300 but that didn't work either. On some versions, the other end does not hear me at all and on the others, the voice is distorted...
Despite the several sources on the Web that deal with this problem, I haven't found a solution that works with my phone and this issue is really driving me mad. Not being able to call people with your phone really sucks. Therefore I'd kindly ask if somebody of you knows how this problem can be mended
Thanks in advance, cheers, Tobias
I have an Atrix 4G, Tegrapart d00. . .I am currently using Epinter's CM10 ROM, though this problem has been present in CM7 and CM9 ROMS by various developers as well.
When I make an outgoing call I am unable to hear the phone ringing in the earpiece, can't hear it when the called party picks up, and can't hear myself, either. . .though the called party can hear me just fine. If I push the speakerphone soft key immediately after dialing the number and then push it again, all is well with the call.
As was mentioned, I have used several ROMs of various "flavors" and they all suffer the same problem. I have changed radios in the phone, as well, but it has still not solved the problem. I hate to think my beloved Atrix is on its last leg and I'm hoping it's a setting I'm missing or an easily downloadable fix and flash I can perform.
I searched all over XDA and on other sites and while I have seen a couple of other folks report a similar issue, I'm not seeing where anybody has been able to offer an answer.
Any help would be appreciated. Also, I hope I have posted in the correct place for this question. . . .previous posts have landed me in bad with moderators and I'm really hoping to avoid that this time! (Grin)
Thank you all in advance!
Anyone?

After a different issue I sent my partners away under warranty to be fixed and when it was returned it came back with the exact same problem as you have and when we phoned them they asked for us to return it then a week later they sent it back saying whatever it was they thought was wrong with it wasn't covered under warranty and we had to use our insurance to have it repaired at a £50 excess cost to us :crying: we still don't know what or who caused it but it worked fine or the calls did before it was sent for repairs the first time

I'm having the same exact problem. Everything seems to work, i can receive calls and call but i can not hear the other caller and nor can they hear me. I've tried plugging in my earphones but that doesn't seem to work either.
Does anyone have a solution?
Please try two other tests ...
1. test if voice recorder works and you can hear back your recording.
2. test if there is any difference with the original headset which came with the S3!
