X8 Forums
Now it have Game Mode, so you can do it, Instructions by doixanh:
Starting from v007, X8Gesture supports two gestures: Pinch Zoom and Game Mode. Default mode is Pinch Zoom initially after each reboot.
1. Game mode
To activate game mode, keep one finger at the bottom right and then another at the top left of your screen, one-by-one (don't release first finger).
Generally you should have more pressure with your second finger so that the digitizer recognizes it as the moving finger.
I tested with Tank Hero and it seems to work. This is not dual touch. It only makes you feel more comfortable with MT games. Sometimes it's incorrect though. That's the limitation of our hardware.
So it'll work nicely for our devices?
Just a little question: Could you make an update.zip of that v005?

If you have not insmod /system/lib/modules/x8gesture.ko, and gesture is working, that means that your rom developer, addes that lines on ramdisk .. so you dont need to install anything, just flash the zip and enjoy (ofc you need reboot )

Interested user / reader, developers, Slade and owain1994,
As MiniCM7-2.0.0 based on CyanogenMod 7.0.3./ Android 2.3.4, released yesterday.
Maybe it is an idea that this new version also will be ported to the mini pro.
The original MiniCM7 project for the mini is a duo project.
Interested developer, Owain and slade idea to join forces together, and create a super project.?
Both have proven and released stable roms now and in the past.
Cheers,
I really hope u guys (slade, dox and owain) port this version to our devices. I would be very grateful.
Let me see what can i do

please tell me if it works.
Yes it works! The only problem that it only works with multitouch visualiser 2, emulators and games... I can confirm that it does not work with the stock web browser, skyfire browser, stock gallery or google maps... Maybe you could fix this Bitmovel and post it on a new thread as a [TUT].

I dont really know, but if 2.1.1.C.0.0 kernel and baseband are not the right one (2.6.29 and 015), won't work

I haven't tested myself, but I assume it should work.
Same baseband and kernel were confirmed to be the same as 2.1.1.a.0.6 in some other thread
in fact, only a few files were changed.
I will compare both releases tomorrow. Maybe I can find why was that update made
I am suprised SE do bot publish changelogs with these kind of things... I'm guessing its something to do with stability or security.
I will try and put up a full and clear youtube video to show youtubers with X10 Mini Pro's around the world how its done next week as there are so many people on youtube looking for this, it will bring many more people to these forums and who knows they could become great contributers here.

Awsum work mate.. was waiting for dual touch which could be flashed through xrecovery. Made my work easy.
It would be better if you could create a new thread on this.
Quick question: The new file you made was named "dualtouch_v006.zip" should this be renamed to "update.zip" or just run this file from xrecovery with its orginal name?
And will innstalling this throuhg xrecovery delete anything of the personal data on the phone?
Sorry aboute the bad English and aboute the silly questions.
You shouldn't rename it, just install it from xrec with original name.
keep the same name, and no. it will not delete any personal data.
Thanx "bitmovel".
Does this go for themes aswell?Do these not delete any personal data?
it does nothing else then adding multitouch.
it does not remove anything at all
Corrected

This doesn't work, I did everything right but I don't get the option to enable it in the Settings...
U set the corerct permissions and edit the build.prop?
Im curious about this :/
the option will not show up until you place
#additional build properties
add line : ro.semc.xloud.supported=true
find the and add the line on the right section #additional.. not at the end "build.prop" in system

The tutorial is very simple,
First of all I would like to thank @NoobCoder, IF script, although is wrong! But I want to thank him!
1: unpacking the kernel, in init.rc
Search
Set this property so surfaceflinger # is not started by system_init
Setprop system_init.startsurfaceflinger 0
Let's add
# xiangxin: fix LED
Start data_restore
Then in the last added
# Xiangxin: FIX LED service
Service data_restore /sbin/data_restore.sh
User root
Oneshot
Disabled
OK, init.rc is corrected, download the attachment to data.tar, data_restore.sh
Added to the kernel, the /sbin directory!
The attachment of the system directory into your ZIP package!
OK tutorial end!

It's for stock only.
He inserted a bash script in init.rc to run during boot. This script will place the light_themes and lightservice.soc in /data with the related dalvik-cache so that illumination_service can find the necessary files to light up the led bar.

if all kernels include this then no need to flash my fix.
Since it's in the kernel, even after wiping data/cache, it'll work.
@xx214718247, so every time phone boots, it'll run data_restore.sh and replace light_themes and lightservice.soc. Wouldn't it remove our last saved color and set it back to default everytime ??
