1, Is Voodoo lag-fix 3.0 locking the clock at 1GHz?
2, how can I uninstall the Voodoo.
Vibrant. Thanks!
all of your questions could be found in the voodoo thread itself, which is where this should be posted, or q&a

Anyway to enable backlight notifications on the new stupidfast kernel...i love it but BLN was disabled...and i read a few places it can be enabled...i am just having a hard time doing so...i tried JT's softkey mod in ROM manager, but only has the option to disable.
If you just go a few topics down, you'll find the answer. (Hint: it's the same topic that you downloaded the kernel from )
Sidenote: You shouldn't post questions in the development section. General be the place for those.

Is it possible to somehow install, flash, or is there an APK for a better unlock for the stock 2.2 Vibrant ROM. I can't stand the long swipe and the lame puzzle unlock on this phone. The stock simple Froyo unlock would be fine. I don't want to change ROMs, so am I just stuck with this unlock? Any help would be great! Thanks.
I posted one
here recently. Only works on deodexed builds though. I actually had an odexed install of JK6 running last night and tried to odex it but dexopt-wrapper doesn't seem to come with JK6.

Hello Forum!! I am new to rooting and installing ROMS. I have a Samsung Vibrant with Team Whiskey's Bionix-V ROM. My question is what is a kernal and how does it impact the performance of my phone?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=771111
this will help.
I know this doesn't really belong here but I've posted this in Q&A with no responses
With all the 2.2.1 roms and porting of I9000 roms and multiiple versions of the different kernels being posted over the last few days I'm more than a bit confused.
Bionix Frost (2.2.1) originally needed (SDCard Fix) version of one of three kernels. now I don't know as it says all kernels supported.
Darkys 9.3 Vibrant Edition (2.2.1) comes with a standard 2.2 kernel. I'm using this with the old Dead Horse #53 and all is fine. Is there no need for Dead Horse 2.2.1? Wil Dead Horse 2.2.1 work?
Simply Galaxy/Sweet Honey (2.2.1) comes with Dead Horse 2.2.1 #73. Is this needed or can any 2.2 kernel work? or is SDCard mounting bad?
Stock JS5 (2.2.1) comes with stock 2.2 kernel.
Eugene's Dead Horse 2.2 2.2.1 kernel for I9000. Is this only needed for TRUE I9000 roms?
Eugene's reboot fix (services.jar). Is this only needed for TRUE I9000 roms?
All the above 2.2.1 roms. Do I need to use a I9000 theme or can I use a I9000 theme? Will it break the services.jar or something else?
Same questions about Vibrant 2.2 themes.
BTW, yes I read all th OP's.
Thanks
The latest dead horse will work with all 2.2 and 2.2.1 roms. That is all you need to know really. Use it. Its really fast and stable.
Other kernels you have to read to see if they support 2.2.1.
