Hi,
Is it possible to use the kimera_kernel_overclock710.zip on my rooted stock 2.73.405.66?
I have successfully used the overclock on the intended kimera 1.8 Rom but don't like the hassle of restoring all my apps and settings.
I have no problems with my current rooted stock Rom but would love to use the overclock to achive the linpack score of 3.2
I have also tried the lightspeed kernel but my phone stops on hero boot logo?
Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated!
Anyone got any ideas on this?
Apologies for the bump! Has anyone got any ideas?
I just got my new Dell streak in the mail unlocked and running official Froyo:
Baseband version - GAUSB1A131500-US
Build number - 12332
Kernel Version - 2.6.32.9-perf
I rooted it using z4 and worked.. then i istalled ONE CLICK LAG FIX and get an error message... it says: Install EXT2 failed with error:null
Any suggestions?? i would really like to speed it up since my quadrant score is a 822...
Go to the streak development forum and search smokku's stock 2.2 froyo mod and download the 315 mod and flash it using streakmod or clockwork. Look at my signature line below ... that's what I'm runnin
Dell Streak, 2.2 froyo (318), custom kernel, OC to 1.2ghz, quadrant 2002, hspda signal mod,
With all the 2.2.1 roms and porting of I9000 roms and multiiple versions of the different kernels being posted over the last few days I'm more than a bit confused.
Bionix Frost (2.2.1) originally needed (SDCard Fix) version of one of three kernels. now I don't know as it says all kernels supported.
Darkys 9.3 Vibrant Edition (2.2.1) comes with a standard 2.2 kernel. I'm using this with the old Dead Horse #53 and all is fine. Is there no need for Dead Horse 2.2.1? Wil Dead Horse 2.2.1 work?
Simply Galaxy/Sweet Honey (2.2.1) comes with Dead Horse 2.2.1 #73. Is this needed or can any 2.2 kernel work? or is SDCard mounting bad?
Stock JS5 (2.2.1) comes with stock 2.2 kernel.
Eugene's Dead Horse 2.2 2.2.1 kernel for I9000. Is this only needed for TRUE I9000 roms?
Eugene's reboot fix (services.jar). Is this only needed for TRUE I9000 roms?
All the above 2.2.1 roms. Do I need to use a I9000 theme or can I use a I9000 theme? Will it break the services.jar or something else?
Same questions about Vibrant 2.2 themes.
BTW, yes I read all th OP's.
Thanks
I am running sinmply honey 3.8 revolution rom in my vibrant. But I do not like the overclock thing in the kernal. Can someone underclock it to 1Ghz and post.
Thanx.
By default it's not overclocked past 1GHz..it's up to users if they want to overclock further.
So there is no need for you to flash another kernel.
i looked under system info in Quadrant standard. It said 1.
2...so I thought its 1.2...Didn't know it's 1.0Ghz by deflection......thanx for the reply...
is there anyway to overclock [ROM][JB][4.1.2]AOKP for Atrix Milestone- 1 Final 12/7/2012? with the kernel it comes with? i tried epinters cm10 overclock kernel but it kills the wifi.
