you don't have to go back to stock....but you can if you want to....
I want to do the same flash the bionx V5 rom, however I have the MFlagship 4 and I can not figure out how to get back to stock. Is there a nice link you can provide on how to get back to stock from say my nandroid I did.

If you want the stock CM7 kernel then just reflash the Ba2tF zip. I'm sure there's a way to extract it, but if you're not sure about undervolting I doubt that's something you want to try.
Faux used to have a 'stock' CM7 kernel for download, but I'm assuming with 3 different betas (and nightlies and weeklies) he removed the link to avoid people downloading something that wouldn't match the CM7 beta version they were on.

You can, but not every kernel supports every Rom. So I suggest make a nandroid and flash the kernel . If you face issues then restore nandroid.
I have tried many kernels on stock Rom , and never had issues till now.....
Yeah it works fine.
I don't know why you would want to stay with stock, because there are rom's like anryl's which is 99% stock, but with slight speed enhancements.

What kernel CM9.0-RC1 works?

If this is a noob question, sorry....i'm a newbie. I want to download the rom directly from www.cyanogenmod.com.... I have a LWW unlocked bootloader, running Real ICS with extended stock kernel. But i don't know what kernel i need use to work that rom.
My english is horrible

Another thing that's worth to mention: you won't be able to boot without any kernel rather than FXP's, the other ones are specially for oficial based custom ROM's as they are built using its source. By the way, don't worry. FXP's kernel is fine. I flashed CM9 with the FXP kernel of course and I am getting better battery savings than I expected it to give me.
