I don't think it's possible due to major hardware difference.
I guess porting a froyo rom from HTC Legend is possible provided HTC releases one..
From what I understand a Desire port for the Hero won't work; the Desire uses a completely different chipset and the screen resolution is much larger.
A Legend ROM on the other hand, is much more viable! It has been rumoured that HTC is due to release an Android 2.2/Sense update for the Legend some time over the next few months. Once this is released you can bet that the Hero devs will get hold of it and port it to our lovely phone! ;-)

Being as 2.2 Sense can't be ported from the desire yet, since we need ARMv5/6 libraries, I don't think this will be happening anytime soon. Perhaps it will get ported to the desire first...
It's already ported to HD2.

We need a device with similar screen res and CPU to get it 1st, i.e Legend.
It might be possible at the moment but would be very hard, hence why we haven't had Desire ports already.
Please excuse me if i may sound a little bit harsh or this been discussed before, but i just want to know if anyone is working towards 2.2 sense rom? Since the 2.2 had been released for Desire, is there anyway to port it to HERO?

This has been asked numerous times, and the answer is not yet, until legend or MT3G slide gets it.

With the new Desire HD and its faster load-up times, I was wondering whether you guys think HTC will be rolling out faster roms for the HD2? I hear the desire HD is faster overall as well. Thanks and I did search the forum but I couldn't find the answer to my query.

Can i use blinkfeed on it. Currently running android 2.3 gingerbread. Planning an upgrade to ICS.
Bought it just a week ago..So no other things tampered with.Just stock android except a few live wallpapers..

Flash them only if you are aware of what you are doing....

Are you sure you don't have DesireS ? Dx has never had GB...

hello guys, lately browsing on xda forum I noticed that some devs were able to port CM11 on their htc aria and wildfire s.
Both devices are very similar to our legend, so is there someone who's able to port this on our legend? I'm unfortunately not able

I won't hold my breath for it. I think internal storage is not enough for kitkat rom.
