hello guys sorry for my noob question.as noons are treated so nicely here
I have LG p500.I rooted it 2 months ago I had only some little issues and I'm aware of little side effacts
now 2 days ago my market updated some apps automatically 1st time.1 of updated app is 'super user.now yesterday it updated again.when I click to open it some time it shows a grey screen and force close and MOSTLY it says ' no app in the list ' and super user isn't showing anything.
can someone tell me how to make it working again.ill be really heartily thankful to you guys.my last problem was solved here and I wish this will be solved too
1 more thing is can someone tell me how can I stop market to update apps itself.so it won't happen in future
regards
Yash
I rooted using gingerbreak app.just for info
now my titanium backup isn't working.keep saying sorry we need a rooted device
I just updated Super user and it works fine for me. To stop auto updating uncheck it in the market.

There shouldn't be a problem. Just that when you want to use an application which needs root, you'll have to give permission again

Is it possible to Root Xperia Ray (like x8 with one click) or not ? and if not Plz provide a link to Xperia ray root guide ONLY....
I wouldn't want to unlock my bootloader if possible, as it's too complicated I think..
Should I upgrade to ICS before rooting or not ?
One More question : Does Ray Support moving applications to SD card ? or do I need to install Link2SD and partition my SD Card ?
Thanks waiting for answers...
edit : forgot to set checkbox "This is a question"
What firmware do you have?

I would like to have the same question as orangzeb.
I have:
xperia ray
Android 2.3.3
Kernel: 2.6.32.9-perf
Build number: 4.0.A.2.368
Can you help us with rooting? I saw a complicated tutorial on the net, with some files linked in which were not available anymore..
Thanks in advance.
Check my tutorial, there is info about rooting. If you need help, ask.

There are only the applications, which you have permanently given or denied root access.

Thanks a lot Someguyfromhell, i know that some of my questions are a little bit stupid for you
but im new on these, and im trying to get it because of my brand new xperia ray.
And i have 1 more question, in your tutorial is written that after the rooting progress with the zergRush method, the BusyBox will be installed, but
it is not installed the BusyBox app, do i have to install it by myself from Playstore or i dont need this app at all? Also the superuser app is installed
in my phone.

BusyBox is not an application, so you do not see it in app drawer. You don't need to do anything more, unless you want to update Busybox, but this isn't really needed either.
I need whatsapp for my phone. i chk in Playstore there is no whatsapp....

No, you don't - you simply copy the .apk file to your phone and select the same .apk file with any kind of file explorer (for instance ES File Explorer).
I tried install the .apk but its shwoing error message..............

You need to select installation from non market sources or another source go to settings security and check the box next to allow installation of non market apps.

Use SuperOneClick to root your phone easily then use Lucky.... or just... look for a prepatched version on TPB, not that im endorsing piracy in any way. Piracy is wrong
