I tried to downgrade for the sake of battery, and I believe I've softbricked.
I did disable lagfix prior to wiping and flashing. Even checked in terminal.
I managed to boot once. Downloaded Titanium and restored my apps/data, then removed the "remove-lagfix"s and rebooted. Got the linda voice, then "execute", boot logo, and... nothing. Black screen, touch buttons lit up. Sounds like the softbrick I've read of.
So yeah. What do I do to restore my phone to working condition? I have no nandroids, but I've no issue with unrooting/restoring to initial system conditions/etc.
I'm on Snow Leopard, Macbook Pro 2010. I'll dual boot a Windows if I need to.
Thanks a ton for help everyone!

Just installed TiBu on my razr, it did not show in the app menu so I restarted the phone. When phone was booting it got stuck in a boot loop and after soft resetting phone by holding power and volume down it shuts off and then restarts the process and loops again.
Soft reset / factory reset failed to solve the problem multiple times. Ended up taking the phone back and getting a new one. I am scared to re root and install tibu since it was right after I installed tibu and restarted that the phone went into loop.
Anyone have any ideas what may have caused this issue? And if I root the new phone and install tibu if im going to have the same issue? Id rather not ruin another phone.
I rooted my phone using doomlords zergrush v2 and have been fine. Rooted many times have titanium backup installed and such. Not sure what my have caused it

Hey,
I have a serious Problem.
I know i should have made tons of Backups before trying out something like "Provision Optimizer [Root] but i was kind of tired and didn't do any Backups.
After i clicked the "one click optimize" button, i rebooted my phone to apply the settings. The Motorola Boot Logo showed up, but instead of loading/showing the animated Motorola Boot Logo(the second one) the Screen turned black.
After waiting one or two more minutes I tried to touch the Screen and the Motoluxe responds as if the Screen was turned on. Even the sounds and vibrations match the Touch screen unlocking.
Technical Details:
Motorola Motoluxe
Android 2.3.7
Fw: IRM-1670-0-4073-A02_BFM_service.sbf (stock)
Rooted
Usb Debugging enabled
How can I backup either my Data to flash the Motoluxe once again (Titanium Backup installed) or undo the changes, that the "Provision Optimizer" did to my system?
Thanks in advance!
Niklas
You can try this app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.xdevelop.rc
Maybe it will help?
I have installed it via the Play Store, but do not know how to launch it without knowing on which screen position the buttons are.
Now I risked losing my data an flashed the Original Image file using RSDLite. What astonished me was, that no Data and apps were lost, but the corrupted system files were apparently replaced or repaired.
Thank you very much for your help post-mortem!

Hey. Been lurking this forum since before i got my NOTE.
ran it stock for a bit noticed issues.
Rooted thru Odin3 V1.85 (DA_G + zaptor99 's methods)
things worked ok cept for streaming video online (not youtube)
in an attempt to freeze my social hub and answering machine notification (its disabled on bell's side but i still have a notification that won't go away)
I assume i button mashed or did something wrong went i went to freeze those apps.
the note acted like it crashed, slowed the hell down and froze.
upon restart, i get past the first samsung screen, into the second that also has the model number in is (in my case SGH-i717M)
this is where the phone get stuck up on now.
Useful info:??
I can get into Download mode. I can get into TeamWin Recovery.
But the phone doesn't seem to get recognized by Odin3 anymore (v1.85 or v3.04 )
So would there be a way to restore thru Teamwin's recovery by using my SD card and loading it with the required files?
or do i have a brick on my hands?
thanks in advance for any help whatsoever!
It sounds as if you have frozen your launcher, and of course this means the device wont boot past the splash screen.
If you have a nandroid backup of the rom prior to the freeze, you can push that image back to the device using recovery. (wipe first)
You can also push the exact same rom image you are currently using, (rom image only) to the device via recovery, and correct the issue as well. (full wipe)
Either way, fully wiping the device before a nandroid restore, or fresh rom install is always a good idea.
You are very far from bricked...
Good luck....g
Hi all I have a VM EVO V with S-OFF, HBOOT - 1.58.5858, Radio 1.09. To make a long story short I ran the battery on my phone till it died at 0%. After it died I kept trying to charge it using a usb cable and turn it on but my work computer wasn't providing enough juice I think. I came home and then used a wall charger and charged it to 100% (green light) and tried turning it on but its stuck on the Beats boot up screen now. Should also mention I'm running Smooth Criminal v2.3 rom. I did not do any flashing of any kernals or roms or radios or anything before becoming stuck on the boot up. Phone has been rock solid stable for several months till now. I've tried pulling battery out & rebooting etc. Going into Recovery clearing cache & dalvik.
I also made a nandroid backup and tried restoring that but its still stuck on Beats boot up logo. Is there anyway I can still recover from my stuck boot? I would really like to keep my current data/install if possible. I just don't understand how the low battery could have corrupted my rom. Any help would be appreciated thanks all!
Just found a quick and dirty way outa the situation. Found an app called "AppExtractor v2.0" on android marketplace that extracts sms/mms, contacts, app (APK + DATA) from nandroid backups. Just ended up doing factory reset/clearing all then reflashing the same rom and then install the app and recovering all data that way. Good option for those who get stuck in bootloop/phone won't boot up just go to recovery make a nandroid backup then just reflash and use this app to recover data that way!
Recently, I flashed a TWRP and rooted my Tablet (Galaxy Tab A SM-T350). Yesterday, I made the mistake of installing crdroid (https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-a/development/rom-galaxy-tab-8-0-t3912517) and wiping the recommended partitions (In that post). After confirming that the custom ROM worked, I went back into TWRP to install the Google Apps and SuperSU. That's when I screwed up.
After installing those .zips I went back into crdroid, and the "Weather Pro" or something like that, which appeared to be the launcher, kept crashing.
Regretting my choices and wanting to go back to stock, I flashed this ROM with ODIN: https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=154234
That didn't seem to work, as when it booted into the setup, it would crash and reboot. I thought I had flashed the wrong version of Android on it, and downloaded this ROM: https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-tab-a/SM-T350/XAC/download/T350XXU1CQJ5/194035/
That also didn't seem to work, as the device would do the same thing. Boot to setup and crash. I tried to boot into ASR and wipe it from there, which is what landed me where I am now:
The device booted, went into setup and immediately shut down. The device does not boot at all, and when plugged in, simply shows the circle with the bolt inside, never showing the green circle and the battery percentage.
Quick FYI: I backed up everything with ADB to my PC way before this happened. Don't know if that will help.
What I mean: https://1drv.ms/v/s!AnXXk5PX0LXn3gd4nJiaPXYOKhFv
Anyone know where to begin in terms of resurrecting my tablet?
Thanks in advance
UPDATE: I don't know what happened, but the device is not charging. Still refuses to boot without crashing but I feel like this could help
Update 2: Ok so it turns out I was stupid and the battery was just dead (I thought it was charged after a night-long charging, but I guess not)
